Worst gas station. I waited for an hour in a long line to get the car washed. Paid for an ultimate wash for my X5. Car wash malfunctioned and didn’t wash the car (just sprayed some water, no soap, wash, wax, or dry). I came out to tell the clerk. He gave me an express wash code and told me my car was washed and I bothered him and he told me people bother him all the time (implying people tryna scam him for a free car wash). Who needs this in your life? This clerk needs to be fired and this station needs to be avoided.

Girls need to be fired that work there today at 1:15 pm. May 13th 2023. They charge a $1.00 more then the shelf tag. I show them. They take the sighn down. They say they have to sell it at the higher price. I tell them that I'm not going to buy it. As I'm leaving one girl says "it's only a dollar". I tell her that's stealing. She says it's not. I have to tell her 3 times it is stealing. Then I call to speak to the owner/manager. No go. So I ask for the corporate phone number. That's a no go too. O. I had to call a couple of times because they kept hanging up on me.

Nice store. Decent gas prices. Good car wash, but mind the line for it! You can end up waiting a bit during busy times of day. Price of popularity, I guess.

Like any other Shell Gas Station, However it's one a 1-way street on 1 side so getting to it is a bit tricky. Clean. More safe than a few blocks either direction. Married, white, Female in late 30's, will get gas with ATM card late night/early morning just fine.

Pump broken. Wouldn’t let me select car wash. Buttons obviously mashed from people trying. I had to go inside to pay again for car wash and didn’t get 20¢/gallon off. Cashier didn’t care. Didn’t even apologize. Then there is a massive curb right in front of car wash exit I drove over and clearly hundreds of others had done the same. And the car wash did not even touch the back of my car so it was still filthy. I had to clean it with a dry towel which is s I had probably moving the paint on my brand new car.

The car wash sucks! A bunch of soap was still left after the wash. The employee was nice enough to give us a second wash for free but it didn't do anything! My partner and I had a laugh about it but genuinely it'll just leave a bunch of soap on your car. I don't particularly recommend

None of the station accepts credit card or mobile payment. 20241029 -- out of 91 only after I used $0.20/g discount. Of course I'm not getting compensated. Good job, Shell!

For whatever reason, one of the pumps was not letting people pay at the pump so I went inside. As I was trying to load up, I asked what was wrong and was given the answer. They sometimes just don’t work. I then asked if I got the fuel discount if I bought a car wash and they said no because the pay at the pump wasn’t working. Absolutely ridiculous. I went to a different pump where I could pay at the pump, and still had to go back inside afterwards to get my receipt from the cashier. One of the more dysfunctional gas stations I’ve been to. Oh, and it didn’t tell me the amounts for the car wash when I was purchasing so I ended up getting the more expensive one that I didnt want.

Came to get gas at this location on 10/25/25. The only available pump at the time was #10. Put my debit card in and the message said to pay inside for whatever reason. Told the attendant that I wanted $25 on number 10. He repeated my request and I confirmed. I then tapped my card and it said declined. Did it again and it said it again, so I had to pay with my credit card. Confused on why my debit card did not go through, knowing I had money in my account, I double checked my account when I got home. There was a fraud alert notification stating that there was an attempt to charge $125.00 to my card, twice! That’s the two times I tried to pay, which I thought was $25.00, for gas. I am so glad that my bank didn’t allow it to go through, but I am pissed off at the fact that this particular attendant try to rip me off or scam me of my money! This gas station has some untrustworthy employees that need to get fired! And I hope that the manager/owner doesn’t condone this. Who knows how many customers they ripped off already! They will not see my business again!

Absolutely terrible service. My card got stuck inside the machine and got $200 stolen at the pump. Called Amex to get it cancelled. Asked the employee to put up a sign up, so people dont put their card inside. The employee instead got mad at me telling me "why should i put a sign up?" Employees at night are absolutely rude, they even got an attitude because I didnt want anyone else to get scammed. Even after all that they just kept looking at me and not doing anything. At least put up a sign up.

The entry and exit are pretty difficult to get in and out of especially with traffic. The store is big with a good selection of good's with two register's available. The Asian lady was very nice and help me with my purchase, Thank you. They also have a car wash available on site, that's alway's a plus.

The Shell gas station in Emeryville is conveniently located next to the freeway. The prices of gasoline and diesel are reasonable. However, the restroom in the convenience store is not very clean and is always lined up in front of the single restroom for customers. The paper receipt on the gas pumps is out of paper every time I am there. I have to go to the cashier to get the receipts.
