I used to go to this station often. They have a car wash that is responsible. I had an unpleasant discussion with a man who claimed to be the owners son. I vowed never to return. The owner did apologize and offered an incentive to return, but the guy in the station ruined my business love for this place. Sorry. I hope others are treated better.

OMG, worst car wash ever, takes me 30 minutes to wash my car, a huge line was make because the washer wasn’t working, and was an indian guy seems to be the manager very rude, laughing on my face, being sarcastic, as was my fault that the washer wasn’t working, btw i already saw his photos on other reviews and seems to shell doesn’t do anything, why he is still working? if other people is complaining about same employee, take it seriously, is just ridiculous the ways he treats my family, i’ll never come back again 👍🏻

This car wash place is a scam. I purchased 4 ultimate for $45 on July 5th. I came to the place on August 23rd for the second wash. When I was sitting in the car waiting for my turn after entering the code. The Indian guy came over keep saying I didn't enter the code. I even showed him the original receipt and he said it has expired, while he couldn't find anything on the receipt saying it's expired. Since there are some people waiting behind me, I had to enter the code again. When I was trying to argue with him with two receipts with the same account # and time stamps for 4:01pm and 4:05pm. He was very rude and refused to check the receipts. Don't be fooled by their car wash promotion. You will end up paying more than regular like me.

This car wash place is a scam. Stop wasting your money and time… Their car wash breaks constantly and they'll just let you sit there waiting for 20 minutes while nobody's car gets washed. No explanations, no apologies and they'll just start arguing with you. I keep telling the cashier that my car is not dry and he refused to come and look at it. Extremely unprofessional and downright rude. I will never ever go to this place again.

Extremely frustrating experience at this Shell station. Tried using 2 different pumps, each 4 times, and neither would process my transaction with a Chase Visa Infinite card. Ultimately, I had to switch to a different card just to get fuel. To make matters worse, the pumps failed to print receipts. Very inconvenient and disappointing—worst experience I’ve had at a Shell station

A week ago, I arrived at a car wash. I drove to the automatic payment machine and saw a piece of paper with the text "cash only". I couldn't leave. There was a car in behind me. I had to exchange $50 at the driver who stood behind me and I paid for the wash for $13 with a $20 bill. Instead of change, I received a check in which they offered to take $7 directly at the checkout at the gas station. I couldn't do that, because I couldn't leave the car - the child was sleeping there. I left, confident that I could get my money in the near future. Today I came to the gas station with a check, but they refused to return me, citing the fact that too much time had passed (1 week) and the cash register cannot return the money to me if I have a check. That was rude and contradicts the laws of almost any state in the world, including the USA. Update from 08.17.2021 This story has received an amazing continuation. I have filed a complaint with Shell headquarters. The manager contacted me, apologized, offered to call in for $ 7 and a free car wash to gift. I did so. You can imagine my surprise when the same guy at the checkout read the SMS from his boss, he was turning the check-in his hands for one minute, and looking at me like I was crazy, said: "Madam, I will not return your change, because a month has passed since the car was washed." And he grinned very cynically. I wrote to the manager again. He said: "I will figure it out. You can try again to return the money and take a car wash as a gift, just warn me." I decided that I no longer want to see that guy at the checkout in person. He does not live according to local laws, and I do not know what else to expect from him. He ignores not only clients but also his boss. In the end, Shell transferred my $ 7 through PayPal.

Very poor customer service! The Indian guy at the cashier is very rude! As I pull up to the car wash he started spraying my vehicle with soap and my window was still down getting soap in my car! Overall I will not be returning to this location as there are many better gas stations/ car washes in the surrounding areas! Do not come here!

Carwash sucks , it happen to me multiple times , paid for 17 bucks but it always stops on me and never finish, its broken, also the guy works theyre told me it only happens to me, wow very rude, ive seen it happen couple of times on a different cars, not gonna wash there again

Today around 3pm, I tried to fuel up my car and all of the gas pumps said the card reader was "out of order". Every time I come here for the past 10 years, there is always a pump that is out of order or a card reader that is out of order. People were also lined up at the window to pay cash for gas and to speak to an attendant but there was nobody inside. Is this place still running or open at this point? On top of that in the morning time, pumps usually say "pumps stopped". I don't recommend this place...

If there is one thing good about this place, it is that the service is consistently bad. After reading the last two reviews which spread one year, I can see that nothing improved at all. The car wash system is flawed. It did not do the drying as it was supposed to, and the owner told me it was because I drove in too fast. He said I could go back and get the car dried but I did not want to waste another 30 min because I needed to wait in line again. I tried to point out that he better fixed the car wash sensor. But he kept saying there was nothing wrong and it was me who made the mistake. At this point I realized the guy just loved arguing with customers instead of providing a decent service. I ended up using a towel to dry the car myself. I wasn’t even offered a partial refund. At this point something funny happened. The next car came out also soaking wet! That driver must be in a hurry so she left without drying. The owner was like she did it wrong too. This place is clearly off my list. People who love arguing should come here - you won’t be disappointed.

Just bought a few things from the mart. Gave the guy behind the counter a 20 and the change should have been 14.61. Owner tried to give me $4.61. I could tell he was hoping I didn’t notice because when I said something he went to try to lie but could tell I wasn’t going to be lied to. After I realized half the “change” he gave me wasn’t even American currency. The San Jose police should investigate this place with the number of horrible reviews about all the lies and cheating this place seems to be doing. Avoid at all costs.

To the owner, How many times are you going to post, "We take your concerns seriously and we apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you. Rest assured, we will share this feedback to the station operator for appropriate action. - Shell Customer Care". Blah. blah. Blah. Your station has the lowest ratings in the area. That starts with you, the owner, not the station operator. These bad reviews go back years all the way up to present time and nothing has really changed. That is a reflection on you sir, the owner. I suggest you train your employees in a way to at least smile and show decent, respectful customer service skills, whether it be a man or woman, but that starts with you.

Got into an argument with the rude Indian cashier because the price for the advertisement doesn't match, and he said I was wrong. I try to tell the cashier he brushed me off and shake his hands like “I don't care to get out of here” terrible customer service! Do better!!!

If I could give a zero I would. On 10/02/2022 I filled my tank and proceeded to use the window cleaning station at the pump only to get a squeegee full of the rankest urine I've smelled in my life! Upon notifying the attendant he refused to listen to me and said no over and over again, basically telling me i'm a liar. I suggested he go examine it real quick and again he told me no, there is no urine. This guy is not a fan of women so hopefully a man used the same station next and gave him a complaint. I'll no longer be using this location to get gas.

Visited on 12/3/24 (Tuesday) at 9:50 PM but they don't stay open on the hours posted. This has been the 5th time this year this has happened and many other reviews below state that. HEADS UP: there's a 24 hour Shell on this address - 1025 S Winchester Blvd, San Jose, CA 95128 Support that one since it's always open as they honor their hours posted!

This is absolutely the worst car wash place. The car wash machine stopped at the middle of carwash for an error, and a stuff let me wash my car again, but same error happened. I was expecting the refund, but what the guy gave me was a cloth. He claimed that error was caused by my car and rejected the refund. He claimed other cars were ok, so the issue is my car! Incredible! my car is a small basic SUV, and actually I have washed my car here probably over 10 times in last 7 years. Don’t waste your time and money here. There are much better, honest places.
