We had a great experience working with Jason Suarez at Serramonte Ford, and we’re thrilled with our 2025 green Ford Maverick Lariat. Jason went above and beyond throughout the entire process. He sent us a video ahead of time showing the exterior of the car so we could get an early look, made sure we both had the opportunity to test drive it, and even filled the tank so we could see what it costs to fill up. He was kind, courteous, and very attentive, answering all of our questions and paying close attention to the details that mattered to us. It was super easy to schedule the appointment and pick up the 2nd time around. I would have given 5 stars if there weren’t one negative. The pick up driver was drowned in cologne. Check-in was smooth. Mo was my specialist. He and the team were friendly and easy to work with. That said, I’d strongly recommend doing your own research and asking very specific questions upfront so you’re clear on what you’re approving and not paying for duplicate diagnostics. I brought my 2011 Ford Explorer in to figure out a persistent 911 system message that says to see the dealer. I had already gotten a diagnostic done when I bought the car (October 2025 from a used dealer) and mentioned that at drop-off. I was hoping Ford could just reset the system, but instead I was charged $300 to diagnose the 911 message and another $300 to check an A/C noise that I had already brought up and already knew about. The 911-related part ended up being no longer in production, so there was no fix for that issue. What really stood out was when I later called to check on my car, I spoke with another specialist who brought up the A/C issue. When I said I already had a diagnostic report, I was asked to email it to Mo. After doing so, the explanation I received back was almost verbatim what my previous mechanic had already documented. On top of that, I was quoted $850 to fix the A/C issue, even though the part itself is under $50 and my independent mechanic quoted me $450 for the same repair. At pickup, Mo mentioned a $60 “discount for the family,” which honestly felt a bit laughable since reviewing the report earlier could’ve saved me about $360. I understand everyone is trying to make a living, but clearer communication upfront would’ve made a big difference. No hard feelings—just sharing my experience so others can make an informed decision. Best of luck & God bless!

Even though I live in the East Bay, I drive to Serramonte because I trust them to be honest and thorough. After I left a Yelp review, Ford asked me to review them on Google. They asked—so here it is. They wanted $4,400 for a repair but wouldn’t confirm whether they’d tried basic troubleshooting steps that other Bronco owners said worked. I took the car back to handle it myself. When I picked it up, the heater was working. One of the very troubleshooting steps I asked about was listed on the receipt—so it likely fixed the issue. That leaves two possibilities: they didn’t realize the car was already fixed, or they did and still tried to charge me $4,400. Either way, I won’t be back, and I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. They responded to my Yelp review by asking me to call the manager. Any competent business knows you don’t ask an already frustrated customer to invest more time without offering something in return. Their performative “compassion” online only made the situation worse. Asking me for a review when they knew I was unhappy with their service further shows how incompetent they are.

My whole experience with Ford Serramonte has been wonderful. Leo in particular was terrific. We had a great test drive on a Ford Mustang Mach E. This is my first electric car and I knew nothing about the technology and features, upgrading from a 2011 Subaru. Leo was knowledgeable and engaging and made me feel comfortable with what I felt were silly ignorant questions. He never made me feel embarrassed to ask even the smallest question. He also sent me up with the app to make sure that I was all set with the features in the car. My interactions with Sean were terrific as well. He was warm, down to earth, knowledgeable, and kind. I felt like I was in good hands the whole way through. Jason (J-Ro) in the finance side was awesome. He was a joy to be around and explained everything I was signing as this is my first lease.
