I’ve always washed my Tesla myself, but today I decided to treat it to a deep cleaning at San Diego Gas & Car Wash. Unfortunately, I deeply regret this decision. I paid $89 for what I thought would be a professional service, but instead, I ended up with a scratched rim on the left back wheel due to their faulty rails. I have dashcam footage showing exactly when it happened, and I’ve attached a picture of the scratch. The damage was entirely avoidable, and it’s incredibly disappointing to see that such a “professional” service caused this. I would not recommend this car wash to anyone unless you’re willing to risk damage to your vehicle.
