The rear window of my 2009 Toyota Corolla shattered during the recent Nor’easter on 10/25/21. The interior of my car took on a massive amount of rain water that pooled throughout the floor of the car leaving a significant amount of standing water. In addition my seats were somewhat damp. I unsuccessfully tried to vacuum out the shattered glass. The glass repair technician (from another business) unsuccessfully tried to vacuum out the shattered glass using his industrial vacuum. In addition to the storm damage, the interior of my car had experienced 11 years of normal wear and tear. I phoned Salem Auto Salon for assistance with my car. Brian Davis (owner) answered my call immediately. Upon describing the condition of my car to him, he promptly scheduled a time to perform an inspection of my car. His assessment of my car over the phone was as accurate as his onsite physical inspection. It was obvious to me that he has extensive experience with servicing the interiors of storm damaged vehicles. Brian restored the interior of my car to a condition better than the condition that it was in when I purchased it from the dealership as a 2-year old, low mileage vehicle coming off of a 2 year lease. He removed all of the carpeting from the floorboard and the seats. All water, dampness and mold (from the standing water) was COMPLETELY removed. Likewise there was no residual smell/odor left behind from the water damage because he ran an ionizing fan inside of my car overnight. All of the shattered glass, including the microscopic shards and slithers, were removed from the upholstery and carpeting. He also cleaned the vinyl paneling of the entire interior of the car. Upon arrival to the shop I was given a detail service plan including the cost and time of completion for my car. I would not hesitate to use the services of Salem Auto Salon again. Likewise I highly recommend this business to others.
