I brought my car there because I used to go there years ago and loved their service, but this experience was absolutely devastating and still has me furious. I went there to get my daughter's car washed to surprise her and have it vacuumed and the windows cleaned. But they wanted $30 for everything. So I just got it vacuumed, so they pull it around to go through and have to drop it out through the car, wash well, for whatever reason the lady goes to fold in my mirror and breaks it off, because it's not made to fold in. I had to go there 4 times to deal oʻwith it. Ordering a new mirror they had glued and taped my mirror three at times and it still continued to fall and scratch up my car. I was never given an apology. I made eye contact with that woman. Every time I went there and she never once apologized for breaking the mirror the manager never apologized nor was I compensated. I wasn't even offered soda pop during the times I had to be there. I have chills still because i'm so angry. When they vacuumed the car, they did not even do a good job. They didn't go under the seats. They remove the car mats, half 🍑 vacuumed under, but not vacuume the car mats and put all four of them together and stuck them in the back seat. It is so run down compared to what it used to be. The only competent person seemed to be the cashier, who was amazingly sweet, gave us a soda popping chips for the hour and a half we had to sit in there and wait for him to come bring us the paperwork to even start the process. I walked away, feeling absolutely confused and disgusted. I've never had a situation where an. Owner or manager, we're that incompetent. Everywhere that I have ever worked, I would never treat someone like that when it was something we caused. I'm sorry for the rant, but I needed to vent. Because i'm just beyond furious.

They used to be so good. Now that they’re the only commercial carwash, standards have plummeted. Our car had sand in the back floor and they didn’t vacuum it all. The front seats were not even touched. The dashboard wasn’t wiped down. After $50 they said we’d need to pay for the $150 detail to get that all done. I’m going to spring for a private detailer next time. I asked for a cloth so I could wipe the seats and dash down and they were extremely rude. They told me to pay for a detail if I wanted to use their cloths.

Great team that tries hard but they are just not hitting the details for the money they charge. They missed my interior windshield and missed several areas vacuuming the interior of my truck. Maybe next time will be better.

Safari car wash is not only an incredible place for what they do but they truly have a heart and a passion for being kind and caring. I recently got a new vehicle and they went above and beyond to take it from like new back to showroom clean! The attention to detail they provide is so good and for the price you cant beat it!

Disappointed. Was visiting from Texas, and thought this was like our Trademark Car Wash joint in Allen, TX. Not even close! Got the Safari Plus and Extreme interior, supposedly the best exterior and interior options. They completely neglected vacuuming the center. The interior wipe down also fell short. Not happy.

I had to take my car back and have it redone, which they did. I drove straight home, turned off the car and then realized… They have my keys. I don’t know why they would remove the keys from the car, but they did. Now I’m locked out of my home and can’t get to my kid, and can’t get in the car to drive back to the car wash. I spoke to the manager Taylor, who did not seem bothered in any way about the Situation and he just politely told me that all the kids said none of them took it and he can open investigation and review the cameras in a few days. Meanwhile, I am 100% stranded in a city that I don’t know locked out of my house and car. Reporting this immediately to the Better Business Bureau and I am pressing charges.

Paid $70.80 for the full "extreme" service and leather conditioning. My car #174 had too many streaked places from improper/missed wiping. Once home, in cool of this evening I'll have do some annoying touch ups. As long as it took, I would have been quite willing for a second detailer to inspect the car for the missed spots.

I just had my new 2025 Rouge cleaned. They didn't even clean the rims at all. Then pulled up my rubber mats and lost a clamp that holds it too the floor. And put them back all wet. And didn't vacuum the seats and now my windows have marks on them. I told the manager and he says, well it must have got sucked up in the vacuum. And I can go back in line and get it washed again. I'm not staying another hour and I will NEVER come back. Last time, they didn't wipe the inside. Totally unprofessional, not even offer to pay for the part they lost.

I got my car down today paid 50$ plus a 10$ tip. They forgot to vacuum and wipe the back of my suv. I called to let them know the young lady that picked up the phone told me that I should have left my hatch back up. I go here all the time and they handle that because it goes through the wash first. When I told her that was not how it worked she told me to have a good day and hung up on me. Then I called back to speak with owner or management she put me on hold and then told me he couldn’t come to the phone. Bad bad bad customer service to a long time customer. I rather pay 200$ for a detail than to ever go to this place again.

Paid a lot of money for a premium wash. Rims and tires were not wiped down. Water residue was left everywhere. Car is way too expensive to drive off looking the way it does. They were busy so I was pushed out of the lot quickly. Won’t be going back.

5/10/2025 price change is odd. Cashier clearly said a Ford Edge was ready when it was actually my Ford Escape then calls me a liar when I asked if she meant an Escape and that I should listen better. I was listening. 5/6/2023 friendly, efficient and quick! 11/21/2022 even when you pull up just as they should be closing they will let you in. Friendly employees. Be kind. You never know what someone else is going through. Updated portion: still friendly, efficient and quick. Great place. They will close at a moment's notice if rain is pending. They are almost always packed. But they are quick and very attentive to details. Every part is vacuumed, polished and touched. They are quick and thorough. They are a well oiled machine. The longest I've ever spent here is 40 minutes. Awesome!

I'm so glad I went to Safari Car Wash!!! They did a great job with my suv and they even FOUND my wallet that I thought I lost a few months ago! Everything was in the wallet as when I last had it. All cards and cash in there too! So grateful for the work they do! If you need a detailed car wash, GO TO SAFARI!

My experience at Safari Car Wash at 2200 Veterans Memorial Blvd in Metairie was the worst I’ve ever had with any business. During a routine car wash, they broke the gear shift in my vehicle, causing nearly $3,000 in damage. I had to pay for the repairs myself AND pay for a rental car while mine was in the shop — all because of their negligence. I still paid for the wash and even tipped, not knowing I was about to deal with a nightmare. The most unbelievable part is the lack of responsibility from the staff and ownership. They ignored my calls, avoided communicating, and made no effort to make things right. The owner even went to the dealership to look at my car but never contacted me afterward — no apology, no explanation, no reimbursement, nothing. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable. I have never experienced such disregard for a customer after causing serious damage. I will never return to this car wash, and I do not recommend Safari Car Wash on Veterans to anyone. Save yourself the stress, the money, and the frustration — go anywhere else.
