First time I was there was Saturday September 10th at 11;20pm, clean store but two of your cashiers worked in an unprofessional manner, unnecessary giggling which to me was offensive, too much personal conversations while customers were present, too loud. My cousin overheard two of them make a joke about HIV positive. I went back there around 2am Sunday morning and there was only one cashier available, going to use your bathroom, I saw three of your employees busy and loud chatting and playing with their phones in a little room near the men's bathroom. Clean place but unprofessional cashiers.

Location, location, location. This is a great spot, easy to get in and out of, big entrance and exits. Accessible and welcoming to truckers and offers pumps for them. Offers petrol and diesel. Clean inside, and a decent selection of things to buy to fill you up or hold you over. Staff is nice.

Lousy customer service! Went to the restroom as I was headed out of town to a formal function, was wearing a dress that touched the floor as I was squatting over the toilet (because it was nasty), ended up getting someone else's urine on the front of my dress. When I asked for a manager, I was informed "no manager was on duty." Was told this by "Bobby" a young man who lacks customer relation skills. When I explained the issue he said "the bathrooms are cleaned only once per shift." Never once apologized for the situation. I asked that he write the managers name and number on a piece of paper. He then argued that he would not give me the managers personal number. I never asked for a personal number, only a number where I could speak to a manager. Needless to say I am very irritated by this. I think it wouldn't have rubbed me wrong had an intial apology been offered without me having to scold this young man as if he was my own son. I don't recommend this location at all. Not only for this concern, but others I've experienced in the past. Bad service here. 👎

Just went in to order food, watched one of the kitchen workers changing trash with blue gloves on and then proceeded to make food with same gloves on and no hand washing. I went up to say something and was told I was a liar and went on continuing to make food without washing hands with same gloves on! Absolutely disgusting employees obviously ignore osha and serve safe regulations.

3 stars is because food is bad and pricey .3 tacos and shake 15.53??? Chipotle is cheaper then that.Food wasn't worth 15.53.i oder extra guacamole and instead put in my taco fresh, they gave me one you can buy in walmart.(they might run out of fresh guacamole so they didn't have a choice) milkshake with ice? Never heard before.do not other shake. Place is clean and staff are nice and kind.would i come back for food NO!fill a fuel or by something else but food no!

Great gas station! Big selection of food and many different coffee options. Super clean nice restroom. I got a tasty breakfast sandwich and a fruit cup. Friendly staff. My first visit to Rutter’s and very positive!

Better than Sheetz. Fries actually taste like they were fried even though they use an air fryer. Generous with the Old Bay. Employees were competent and friendly.

I ordered 2 chilli and a chicken corn soup got home and found out i had 1 chilli and 2 chicken corn. Maybe employees could spend less time talking to each other and read the order properly

I’m not one to post reviews, but I gotta say this is THE best Rutters by a long shot. Food is always piping hot and made unbelievably quickly. The staff Is very nice and welcoming to guests. One time me and my friends came in after our concert and ate their food in their dining hall, I was the last one served and they gave me a free Large Fries because of the long wait, not only did they make our food very quick with how many guests were being served, but their kindness is something I still think about. This Rutters establishment is the definition of “why go anywhere else,” with this customer service, I’m glad to make this my group hangout!

I just ordered food at almost 2am in the morning. This food was prepared with care served hot and it looked like the picture but that's not all! When I got home and ate it, my god I was in heaven burger was perfect, my chilli dog was benign as usual and my fries n corn fritters were fried to perfection. I think I'm just gonna come here instead of burger king or McDonald's. Fast food made great n my order wasn't messed up my Salas was fresh n my girlfriend was very happy. Whoever was making my food this morning should get a raid these 2 gals really made me feel like I was getting food cooked like they would like it. Almost seemed home cooked. To the employees at this Rutgers,I thank you very much I really enjoyed the meal ya made us. The food was exellent,I'll keep coming in as long as you cook like that!!!

I frequent this rutters alot when I get off work in the middle of the night....I haven't had a pleasant experience for a long time here and Matt was super kind super friendly and helpful and I'm just sooo glad to see a smiling welcoming person here finally!!!

Very disappointed, nearly All of the romaine lettuce in my Chicken Cesar salad was BROWN! And this was "freshly made" by the food crew. This is basic food service knowledge. I'll be double checking all of my food from now on.

I was attempting to be patient since it seemed as though there were new people training I was ticket #272 tonight around 1am, unfortunately for me I never grab my receipt from the cashier However, my xtreme peppermint patty shake was made incorrectly with the girl putting candy pieces on top my whipped cream and not blending the candy into the shake My loaded pork hashbrowns did not contain the pork, only the chili and other sauces And my chicken corn soup was only about halfway filled up Also did not receive any napkins, utensils, or soup crackers in my bag The italian wrap was the only gpod thing out of my order I hope that this can be a learning experience for accuracy in the future

Good little truck stop gas station to stop at if your passing through. But the restrooms need to be larger. Place gets far too much traffic to only have one bathroom stall in the men’s room. Other than that, place is always clean, food snacks and drinks are always stocked. Workers are nice and has about 3 big rig parking spot

Very rude cashier accuses me of being intoxicated after asking me how I am. I am morbidly depressed and when people ask how I am, that is a trigger for me to remember that I am depressed. He then refused to process my transaction. This is his portrait. I am never shopping at Rutters again. They need to teach their employees about sensitivity. Asking someone how they are when they don’t actually care is not an act of kindness.

Average rutters. this particular location only makes croissant sandwiches as the grab and go. occasionally they will make literally a couple of the waffle sandwiches. whether im here at 4am or 7am the tray is packed with only croissant sandwhiches. no thought of english muffin or bagel or biscuit. I just go down the street to turkey hill where they have everything but croissants and turkey hill coffee is better and cheaper. Im not canadian.
