Went to a quick wash to get on the road back home. Stopped in at RocketWash and met Larry who explained the differences between each! His customer service was friendly and his personality was delightful. My car came out shining and they asked if I was satisfied with the wash because I could go through once more. I was quite satisfied and told them I would give them a review! If your ever in need of a wash and your near this site..please don’t hesitate to stop in and ask for Larry! They will get your right!

Seriously, Rocket Wash is where it's at! My car always looks like it just rolled off the lot after a visit. The guys there are super chill and get the job done fast. Love xavier especially! Cant beat the prices! Not breaking the bank like these other car washes, Tried a few but I’ll stay with this one.

The vacuum stations are very inconveniently set up, and there are not enough spots. It is a one way lane, so if all the spots are taken or if it appears a spot is open but is actually just a compact car pulled forward and obscured by a larger SUV next to it, you are out of luck. I can’t believe I paid $15 for a cleaner exterior (though not completely smudge free) and couldn’t even vacuum my interiors.

We go here often, and wash our car ourselves. But the management has changed and they raised the price and cut down on the amount of time you get to wash and rinse your car. Still gave them 4 stars.

Stopped by for the first time, went for the touchless wash as I'm used to those and I wanted to get in and out quickly. I had a bit of trouble with payment - I tried two different cards and neither was processed. I then paid in cash but the machine didn't have change, so after the wash I had to park and go to the office with my receipt, which wasn't a huge deal but I'm glad I didn't come here at night when no one was working or I would've had to come back tomorrow for my change. As far as the wash itself, my car does look better, though some spots of white residue from the tree debris that had landed on it remain. If I had purchased a more expensive wash (mine was the $12 one), maybe it would've made a bigger difference. I'll probably come back as this place is conveniently located for me and reasonably priced, but I'd be wary of coming after hours for the touchless wash when no one's working considering the payment troubles.

I highly recommend this car wash! Everyone was so kind and friendly. I had a coupon for a free wash, but I would definitely go back and pay for one next time. They provided a great clean, vacuums, a power hose for washing rubber mats, a carpet mat cleaner, cloths, and sprays. My car has never looked so clean. I think it is a great deal for what you get.

$9 later, still a dirty van. Used the DIY wash and spent $9 cash. Got about 6 min to pre wash, soap, and rinse. Ran like I was in the Olympics trying to keep the machine fed with quarters. Still failed my mission as my van was marginally cleaner than when I started. If there was a way to pause the timer to scrub with the brush it would be a different experience. Won’t go back.

It was a disaster for my car. My car is brand new, but after I washed it, it ended up with scratches all over. Don’t choose brush washes—they cause scratches, scratches, and more scratches! Remember this, absolutely remember this! I’m completely devastated, absolutely devastated.

Worst self-serve car wash in Chapel Hill. Prices are inflated and employees are rude. Every time I have tried to visit I've had to move to another port because the equipment was out of order. Go to Swish in Carrboro. Cheaper, better, and everything works!

Nice facility, but the manual wash is insanely over priced compared to other manual car washes. Cost for quarters is $1.25/minute. Cost for credit is $1.75/minute. These costs and the rules posted are reflective of a business that is only concerned about making money, not with helping people complete their goal. This is the unethical practice that many businesses are exercising to be more costly than what they serve. So, I usually clean my wife’s car every month at a manual car wash. I’ve only ever spent more than $5 to wash the car one time and it was here. Took $15 to get the job done and I had to rush, so it’s not as good as usual. I’m not a fan of leaving negative reviews, but sometimes it’s necessary.

My car was incredibly sappy and I purchased the normal package but Larry (and his coworker I didn’t get his name but I went on 10/7 @1:45) said I could go through the wash twice and I didn’t even ask it was so nice! They both hosed my car before the wash extra hard and I could tell they cared about getting my car clean! Best experience!

Way overpriced for the quality of wash. Pay 20$ and my wheels and hood are still very dirty. Vacuums had very little suction so I could not clean the inside well. Go somewhere else.

I’ve been a regular at Rocket Wash for about two years, and I’ve never had an experience quite like the one I had today with Rook. He’s a newer team member, but his attention to detail was genuinely outstanding. Before sending my car through the wash, he walked around my vehicle three separate times to make sure everything was properly prepped. No one has ever done that in all the time I’ve been coming here. It made a real difference, and I really appreciated the level of care he put into his work. Huge shoutout to Rook for going above and beyond. Rocket Wash is lucky to have him!

After I told the attendants that my car was nowhere near clean after one run through, they told me to go through again. This time I specifically asked them to spray the windows on the right side of my car because I could see that they hadn't and the attendant told me "I already did that side," while I was sitting in my car and I had just seen him splash a little soap on the windshield but not touch the side windows at all. As I started to tell him again, my car started moving inside the carwash and I had to put up my window. The attendants told me I would probably have to clean "that part" by hand. "That part" is the whole car. So now, after $15 and two washes, I have to wash my car myself? Take a look at the pictures taken immediately after and the day after the wash and see if you agree. No part of my car is clean--not even the front or rear windshields.
