Horrible customer service! No one will answer the phone. They keep sending you back to the phone tree, or put you on hold and never pick up. This last time I hung up after 15mins of waiting. Been trying for 2 days to see if my prescriptions ready.

DO NOT! Use this pharmacy.. they never pick up their phones, close their drive thru when they want, and will not have your meds ready for you as your doctor prescribes it. I hope this place gets investigated because their practices or unethical and illegal.

I switched here from another large pharmacy and I’m so glad I did. They are much friendlier and they actually answer the phone. Even though they are short staffed (like most places) right now and have had to reduce their hours they still do an excellent job in store and the drive through.

After a horrible experience at Walgreens I went to Rite Aid to see if they were contracted with my insurance and if they could fill my prescription. The male pharmacist was so kind said it would only take 20 mins to fill and go enjoy some ice cream while you wait. Order was ready in less than 20 minutes and even though one of the prescription wasn’t covered with my insurance it only cost $16 for it. Walgreens wanted $250 for it. Thank you Rite Aid for great customer service and going above and beyond to help me.

This place is a nightmare!!! They shouldn't even get a 1 star but had to just to right a review. They not only put you on hold to ignore you but if you say you can't hold they hang up on you. I called in a prescription 4 days ago and 4 days later they send a text it's out of stock and needs to be ordered. It took 4 days to be processed. DO NOT COME HERE FOR YOUR PRESCRIPTION!!! Absolute nightmare I am not supposed to go without my prescriptions

Got to Rite Aid to have my sons TDap vaccine done before he could start 7th grade waited in line not once but twice after filling out paperwork. The pharmacist asked me to take a seat after I gave her my filled out paperwork work and insurance card. We waited another 20 minuets and noticed a new person that just got there start working on the insurance we already thought was being worked on. Long story short total of 45 minuets waiting to have them tell us my insurance doesn’t cover a pharmacy to administer the shot. Won’t be going back to this pharmacy again felt like we were put on the back burner and it wasn’t even busy!

So I got diagnosed with HG after not being able to keep food or liquids down for over a week. This LOVELY place not only didn't have my much needed LIFE SAVING MEDS until THREE DAYS after I needed them. Now not only did I have to wait for no dam reason they missed TWO of these meds and absolutely NO ONE is answering the goddam phone. Oh don't worry. When I went to pick them up. It was completely dead. So I know this was just complete and total incompetence because in 6 years i haven't ever had this issue with them. Glad Walgreens bought them out hope they close down soon.

This riteaid pharmacy sucks. They are VERY slow and they like to play games with the drive thru window hours. Theyll answer the phone six minutes before closing but then put you on hold until its past six (closing time).

I called in my prescriptions on January 5th at 4:17 pm for pickup on January 6th after 2pm. I arrived January 7th at 11:09 , waited 20+ minutes iin line just to be told they weren't ready. This at least the 3rd time this has happened. What a waste of time and fuel. I am so tired of the " Covid" excuse. You have one tech working the inside and drive up windows. Ridiculous!!! You can and should do better!!! If ths happens again I will transfer my prescriptions to another pharmacy. Pay your staff well and don't over work them. Jeez.

I am so grateful that this pharmacy filled my insulin on the spot and I maybe waited 5 minutes. I had been waiting on the Anderson pharmacy forever and finally I gave up. The blonde lady in the pharmacy with the tattoos is amazing. Thank you.

The rite aid pharmacy #6099 on cypress in redding is hands down the worst pharmacy I've seen. I use to do loss prevention for rite aid so i wanted to stick with them as my pharmacy. This location is the closest to my home. You have about a %20 chance of the staff answering the phone on any day or time. Ive tried multiple days at different times and different times of the month because none of my prescriptions are filled on time. Going into the pharmacy or through the drive through you are usually greeted by an elderly ladey with long brownish hair and glasses, she always has a attitude. When you go into the store for the pharmacy you can quickly tell why the phones aren't being answered, it's because the pharmacy technicians literally have airpods in and can't hear them neither do the acknowledge that you walk up the the drop off counter. The sign on the store says walk ins available for flu shots but when i tried to get my son his flu shot i was declined and told to make a appointment. I made a appointment, showed up 10 minutes early and still was angrily greeted as if I was such a inconvenience. Then they canceled my appointment because they didn't have someone trained to give the flu shot. All in all i think I'll be transferring my prescriptions and business to a locally owned pharmacy that can answer phone and not be rude half the time.

I switched to this Rite Aid after being loyal to another pharmacy for years. The staff is generally helpful and friendly. The store has some really awesome, hardworking staff in the pharmacy. They just seen to be short staffed and overburdened. I very rarely have problems getting my prescriptions filled or refilled. (Unless the app is acting up.) It feels a lot cleaner inside than other pharmacies I've visited in the vicinity. I don't think I have ever walked in to purchase something on the retail side and not found it on the shelf.

The pharmacy staff is amazing. They have been so short handed and busting their butts for everyone and probably without much gratitude. They deserve a big fat thank you for all you do. Keep up the good work. Your loyal customer's understand and appreciate all your hard work.

I’ve been using this pharmacy for awhile and it’s been ok. Yesterday I went in to get my prescription and asked the clerk for a flu shot since the app , website, and advertising says to just walk in for immunizations. The clerk was very rude and told me they couldn’t do it because they had to have a pharmacist. There was a pharmacist there and they don’t have to leave the area to give someone a shot for 1 minute. I know about pharmacy requirements and asked to speak with the pharmacist who basically told me he didn’t have time and it didn’t matter if I had an appointment as they weren’t doing immunizations at that location. The pharmacist and the clerk were both very rude. They could have just said I’m sorry but we’re short staffed or something and we’re unable to give immunizations at this time, but no they just said they’re not doing them. I called today about a Rx and spoke with the same pharmacist who told me the doctor hadn’t authorized the Rx yet which is a lie because I spoke with a different pharmacist who told me it was just waiting for the 30 days to pass before it could be filed. My doctors office also told me earlier in the week that they authorized the refill as they do every single month. Then the pharmacist told me he didn’t know how to put the Rx in filling and had to ask the pharmacy tech. The tech also told me it hadn’t been authorized and then I repeated everything again and guess what, oh it was approved and was so rude about the fact that she had been caught in a lie. I also overheard another employee tell a customer that they didn’t have a working restroom for customers. It’s easy to see why Rite Aid has filed for bankruptcy. Abysmal.

Great store and awesome ice cream at a great price. BUT (UPDATED: Marth 6th 2025) Downgraded to 2☆☆ because of there ice cream at a great price. my daughter's livelihood took away 3☆☆☆ because the pharmacy has been going downhillm 1st in 2024 - RiteAids drive-through pharmacy was closed with a paper sign saying, go inside because they're short-staffed.. Now I have a debilitating back problem and I cannot walk or stand for too long. But the pharmacy is always at the back of the store. 2nd - 3 times in 2024 it took 2 or more days to get some of our medicines. The worst was when my daughter was having excruciating pain due to her pre-existing medical condition filarring up causing her immense pain. Rite Aid took 3 days for the prescription to be available for pick up. UNACCEPTABLE!!! That was the last time. We now get our medicine there. I now get our prescriptions refilled from a local pharmacy, and they are awesome. They have always had our medicines within the hour or the same day at worst. They are a small pharmacy, yet they can get 0ur medicines much quicker than RiteAid the large corporation.) INACCEPTABLE!!! She's 15 I NOW I go to Rite Aid only for the ICE CREAM and some fast photo printing -Mitch

They no longer have phones for you to call to see if your script is in or ready. Some of us have to walk to get to the pharmacy, and they took away the option to call in. Tried calling in to re-fill a script, and nothing, can't even speak to a human anymore. Please fix this; that's pretty far for some of us to walk, and then having to wait 2+ hrs to refill our script...it doesn't work online anymore. Please bring back the phone service

I had an amazing experience the first time I ever came here because walgreens took 3 days to fill my prescription and rite aid did it in 15 minutes. But let me tell you, THEY ARE NOT GOING TO ANSWER THE PHONE. Since I've started coming here I have never been notified my prescription is ready ive asked to be signed up for texts and EVERY TIME I have called I have NEVER had anyone answer. I asked them if they're phones work and she replies I'm only one person... there's 4 others in there and while it may be her job she's not doing it. I called at all hours today to pickup my medication for my son and there was never and answer. This place is a literal joke.

I needed to get a brace for my leg this morning. I found what I needed, and it was very nice to have several choices to choose from. While I was there at slightly after 8am this morning, a couple of thieves entered the store. Brittany did an excellent job of getting the merchandise back and kicking them out of the store. I really appreciated her taking her job seriously and not allowing petty thieves to steal stuff, which in turn raises prices for the rest of us honest shoppers. If I understood a comment she made, she's a veteran too, so thank you for your service!

Pharmacist was terrible! Got my wisdom teeth out after being scared to death from never having a surgery and when my doctor prescribed me a medicine, she refused to give it to us stating to many overdoses happen from it and then proceeded to make assumptions saying my mom Forged the doctors note. I’m not trying to be that person and idk if it had anything to do with race but me and my family felt very targeted! I got oral surgery was told what medicine to take and a third party wants to jump in and have things her way. The only reason I’m upset it bc one I’m in pain and two I’ve never been able to swallow pills so instead of taking 1-2 this girl is making me take 4-6. I’m not an evil person unlike her but I hope if her kids ever go through what I am they’re denied relief and sit and suffer while their mother can’t do anything.

All right, all we did was zip in around 7 pm on a Friday night so we could pick up sunscreen and some candy bars. How was the visit? It was fine, mostly, just slightly sketchy is all. Random challenged person sleeping on the ground next to the front door aside, it was all right for a quick dash. The shelves did have a very good variety of name brand sunscreen, including some chemical sunscreens and some natural mineral based ones, which was fantastic. Candy bars were stacked very tightly close to the front registers, making it slightly annoying to try to find old favorites, but hey, down the long candy row they had some new stuff I've never seen, so it was fun to discover. All in all a good store, just kinda weird somehow, maybe because we didn't see many employees or actual shoppers? Yeah, that may be it. Glad we stopped in anyhow. Got what we needed and the friendly cashier had us out and back on our other errands quickly.
