Never felt so inferior simply getting grapes at the grocery store. Try talking to an associate while at self checkout literally 5 ft away from him. It's not loud in there because it was after 10PM. Straight up ignored me. Good stuff 👍. I'll have to go way out of my way to WinCo from now on after work. At least the employees are receptive and not staring down their noses at you. Been a good run Raleys, but that's it for me.

Splendid visit this 9th day of February, 2025. Quite busy, but taking into consideration the Super Bowl Sunday, that's to be expected. In all honesty, I can't afford to shop here. Although I DID find some fairly reasonable worth-while deals. I found a clearance item marked down beyond expectations, therefore my shopping trip was satisfactory. Not to mention it's also the closest store to my home location, so convenience has its perks. There are coupons available to members to clip online, and you do get complimentary store credit with purchases that also add up over time. ❤️❤️❤️

Just had one of the best sandwiches in Redding from Raley’s deli, and I’ve got to say… they nailed it. Fresh bread that was soft but held everything together perfectly, meats sliced just right, and the toppings tasted super fresh—crisp lettuce, juicy tomatoes, and the right amount of crunch from the pickles. The flavors all came together like it was made with extra care, not just thrown together. What I really like is how customizable it is—you can load it up or keep it simple, and either way you’re walking out with a solid, filling sandwich that feels like it was made just for you. Honestly, it’s a hidden gem for a quick lunch or dinner option, and way better than most of the chain sandwich spots around town. Raley’s in Redding—definitely earning my go-to spot for a deli sandwich fix. 🥪👌

Raley's on Lake Blvd is a terrific store. The store is clean & well organized. The staff are friendly and helpful. Their produce and fresh fruit are very good as are their meats and seafood. They have a great deli section, a coffee/beverage kiosk and specialty food section. They also boast a very good wine selection and of course beer & liquor. Their prices on some things aren't as competitive as other chains - but for the most part they are comparable to Safeway, Holiday etc. If you join their price club and watch for the yellow tags you will save a lot of $$. In fact, I was just there today getting items for dinner tonite. 2022 update - still living this store.

I have been shopping here for year's. We really appreciate fresh food. The people are great. If I had one complaint my wife has heart problems but she loves shopping. She can't walk far, so we get the electric carts. It doesn't help when the battery goes dead on the other side of the store. Putting me in panic mode. It would be fantastic if the carts could stay Charged up for us old people ok. Thaks for listening.

I moved to Redding a year ago and have been in search of a really good grocery store. Raley's has been my favorite so far. They have a decent selection of harder to find, gourmet-type items. Pre-made wine sauces, imported cheeses, sausages and cured meat, all can be found here. The store is clean, well organized and just big enough to be the only place that I need to shop. The staff treats everyone professionally and with respect. I just which that they had a bigger and better produce department.

For the full review go to Raley’s Corp website ( reviews ) and look for the one dated 9/9/25. The first thing that stood out to me was the overall 2.6 out of 5 score. Having 35 yrs with a Fortune 500 company if my service center had a 2.6 score I would have been terminated if an immediate improvement was not shown. As for Raley’s Lake Blvd I was surprised to see the 4.2 score. Produce section is so far below Winco and FoodMaxx quality, volume, selection. I just returned a watermelon that was rotten. Prices are more than double on items like onions and many other veggie’s with far inferior quality! As for friendliness of staff? See corp website 9-9-25. So why do I even shop there? Only when I have to because it’s closest to my home. Again you should read the 9-9-25 post/review on Raley’s corp website. Ask yourself “what if it was me ?” Treated like that !!

Raley’s always has good quality food. I love their deli sandwiches and their sushi is much better than Safeway Sushi. While the prices are a little high especially for some baked goods, they do make these delicious salted caramel brownies. Mary from the bakery has been amazing and very helpful and always has a smile on her face even when I’m needy and ask for extra caramel and salt on my brownies. Thank you bakery team for all you do to make me feel like a valued customer.

Great place the produce guy is very nice and knowledgeable goes above and beyond. As far as the rest of the store it's overpriced they don't have much in the way of cat food in the cans since the pandemic they seem like they struggle to you know to keep up.

PSo I ordered chicken online for delivery and only half of it showed up. I put in a note online and wow… they were on it. I ended up getting my full order and then some. I had a DoorDash driver calling to make sure I got my food, and Tana from the store actually called too just to double check. She told me there were about six DoorDash drivers all trying to get my order to me at the same time. She was amazing. We laughed about it and honestly it was the highlight of our night.”

Great customer Service needs to be celebrated. Many thanks and a big public shout out to to Tanna at the Lake St. store. She went above and beyond and far exceeded my expectations after an online order went south on a Friday evening. Stuff happens. She made it right... and then some. Thanks a million

Employees are great!! However, prices are outrageous. Just about everything in the store is priced $1 or more than other grocery stores. Sad. I have been shopping there for 20 years , but they have got so greedy that I'm forced to shop elsewhere. I only shop there now as a convenience store when the cost of gas would outweigh or equal the higher price of needed item.

Transient tried to take my phone right out of my hands. Showed up looking for yogurt and ended up almost robbed of my phone. As i walked by the person he lunged towards me and my instincts kicked in and i quickly pulled my phone away from his reach. Startled he continued to ask how my day was going. I stood there and he continued to look at the shelves as if he were innocent. Beware while shopping here place is not the cleanest inside and lots of transient traffic.

I love rayleys, but the last three times I have been there to get a sandwich from the deli the employees have been so slow, today it took the guy helping me nearly 30 full minutes to make two cold sandwiches and get something from the hot case, he looked like he did not want to help me in the slightest and just dragged his feet, his co worker helped 4 other people while I was getting my food. All other employees who i interacted with during my visit were amazing, it's just the deli workers who are not very nice.
