Employees are very professional, except for the supervisor/ manager, He constantly was getting on his employees, they were working there butts off, I don't like or agree with him doing that in front of customers, pull them into your office in the a.c that you kept going to, because it was to hot out there for you, your employees was hot too..

We were driving to Monroe when the maintenance notification came on in our van. I cannot stand seeing the notification light while driving, so I needed to get the oil changed while we were in town. After searching for a reputable place to take care of my car, I found Rick Breen’s less than 1/2 mile from our hotel. I pulled up and waited no longer than 10 minutes in the line and the crew at this location took care of me. Their multipoint inspection revealed that our vehicle was low on coolant and they topped it off for me. They also said I was low on washer fluid and would top it off, but then told me I was better off getting the winter fluid myself because they only had the summer formula fluid and it was predicted to be below 20 degrees in a few days. The entire crew was great, and if I ever am in the same situation while I’m Monroe in the future, I know where I can go. Also, Rick Breen’s was rated way higher than the local dealership, and that was another reason I chose to go here.

I went in for an oil change this morning. I got there about 10 minutes after they opened. The whole team was quick, efficient and professional. I was out of there so quick. They were running a special, so an oil change came with a free car wash. Would recommend.

Rick Breen’s does all of the oil changes for my family’s vehicles and our business trucks. Always excellent service and friendly. Today they changed the oil on my wife’s Kia Stinger and it has to have a plastic shield removed. Some of the clips were in bad shape and they took the time to replace them at no charge

Fast and courteous service techs. Clean work area. They change your oil, check your filters, they change it if needed (at an extra cost, they will ask before they do) check all the fluids, top you off if needed; fill your tires, vacuum the floorboards; need your car inspected? Do it here. All this for a reasonable price. And they let you stand there and watch them (which I prefer to do as I like to be sure the work is done, some places won't let you do this) Edit Oct 22, 2022: Still the same great service as always.

I’ve been coming here ever since I got my first vehicle. Every time I go I see the same familiar faces and am greeted like family. The employees there are friendly, experienced, very respectful, and always make sure that you’re taken care of. They really do go the extra mile. Sometimes there’s a bit of a wait if you go during their busiest hours, but they are quick on their feet and get the job done fast. On top of all of that, they promote and support local/regional businesses! As long as I’m staying here in West Monroe, this is the only place I’ll ever go for my car needs. So if you’re new to town or find yourself in need of a quick oil change or inspection sticker, this is definitely the place to go!

They worked on my car and put my filter in backwards and made trash go inside my motor there to busy goofing off and not paying attention to what they was doing and I brought my receipt and papers from the mechanic and they refuse to help me .

Every time I come through here, whether it's for an oil change or inspection sticker or a rotation, I am treated like royalty. They do an exceptional job with their customer service. As a young woman, I don't know much about anything to do with cars, and they have a great way of explaining what they're doing, and I never feel like I'm being taken advantage of. This also goes for any other Rapid Lube location I've been to.

If I could put 0 stars I would. I went up there today 5/9/25 for an oil change on my 2017 Tacoma. They didn't tighten down my drain plug nut and I've been leaking out oil all day. IT WAS HAND TIGHT! Who ever taught y'all what an uggadugga is liiied!! Thankfully I noticed before I drove 5 hours in the morning! Checked the dip stick and there is no oil touching the stick. Will definitely be at the shop waiting when they open at 7:30. Will update with how they handle the situation tomorrow 5/10/25 Edit: 5/10/25. They handled the situation really professionally. They did a whole new oil change. Still unhappy with the situation. Could have cost me alot of money getting broke down in another state. Updating to 2 stars for the professionalism

Kid put my nieces air filter in backwards causing trash to go in the motor. Took their receipt and mechanics receipt with his notes stating what happened. They refuse to help with anything or admit fault. Horrible people who don't hold themselves accountable. Replying to the comment that was made, the mechanic didn't lie. It actually can be put on backwards. Y'all just don't want to admit you done wrong. We tried to make it right by coming up there and you didn't want to work with anyone. PERIOD!!

NOT VERY HAPPY !!!! Went there on 5/19/25 Monday for an oil change, and they striped the oil plug and broke it off. Had to get the broke piece out. I asked the guy in the pit, and the guy under hood was there, going to be a problem. I also told them I better not have an oil leak. They assured me I wouldn't. Go out this afternoon to ck, and oil is on my carport. Taking truck back up there. I'm not very happy. I use this place all the time. This is the first time I've had a problem. UPDATE TO YOUR RESPONSE!!!! You're telling a ball face lie. You always service both of our trucks!!!! I keep all my service receipts and can prove you always service our trucks. We keep our trucks serviced and well maintained. And are selective on who touches them. We live in West Monroe, and I know Rick Breen, and we always use his shop on Wells rd. And no one didn't talk to me until after my oil plug was striped and broken off, and the guy was beating and banging, trying to fix it. Now you may have told the lady that crap ahead of me because I did hearyou tell her that her plug head was striped and that you broke it off. If you use the right size socket and drive, you want strip the plug head.

I have been a long time customer of Rick Breen’s and used all 3 locations at one time or another. The last two times I have been both times they have forgotten to put the gasket around my oil plug after changing the oil. This has caused the oil I just spent over $100 on to leak out. This is unacceptable and could have caused major damage to my engine if not caught in time. I’m sorry to say we will not be back ever again because it seems we can’t trust them to do the work properly.
