Been here once before. Everything was fine. I visited here again today, and everything was not fine. For one, wash bays are Quarters Only, No card readers. So I tried the auto wash bay, with doubts because they never get anything clean. None of them, anywhere. And this one, while having a neat, spinny mechanism, has weak pressure and no blower to help with drying. So It wasn't a huge shock to pull out and find that crud was still all over. Like lumps of caked-on, ground up leaves, and streaks of dirt etc. So I decided to give the self serve bay a shot anyway. If you want it done right, do it yourself. I had to leave and find an ATM to get cash. Came back, and every bill I tried was rejected from the change machine multiple times. I iust left. Van still dirty. Granted, the auto wash bay did blow off some dust, but that was after I used half a bottle of Simple Green on it as a pre soak to loosen up the crud from these dirty, bombed-out cow-paths that pass for roads in these parts. The undercarriage spray seemed strong, but if you want to do it yourself, which I'd always recommend anyway, bring quarters yourself. And towels. Lots of towels. I don't know.what happened between now and the first time I was here a year qgo, but this trip was a poor experience. Sorry, but someone needs to perform some maintenance here.

The car wash is great! Great prices! & The owner is so kind too! He gave me advice on how to get rid of certain spots on my car. I’m very happy with my car wash!

I paid for the $14 automatic car wash that swept a wand under my car & now I am getting check brake system yet that wasn't happening before. Could be a coincidence but until I know - not recommended for the works done. It seemed to wash & coat protect my Impala pretty good though. Maybe 2 1/2 stars

It's $3 for 4 minutes, and that's the minimum per round. You can't just pay $1 or $2 for water. Honestly, it's pretty expensive. If you pay with a card, even you have use $8.5, they will charge $10. That’s sucks

1st time using this car wash for a company suv. It had 4+ trips to buffalo on it without a wash. The main issue was the tailgate. It got it cleaned perfect! Fair price & plan to go again. Easiest car wash from Downtown Pittsburgh

This is a self serve quarter car wash at a good location and it's well lit and quarter vacuum. Change machine available and vending machines. There is a groundskeeper who is a Very nice gentleman that cleans up after all of the mess and can fix the machines if you have any issues.

I've been coming here for years. If you're washing your car yourself, it's a good place. I'm not a huge fan of the automatic car wash, I prefer using the self service wash, it works very well. There's a change machine on site, you'll need quarters. Credit cards are accepted at the auto wash. The vacuum cleaner filters could probably use a cleaning. You get a good bit of time but you'll definitely need it because the suction is kinda weak. It gets the job done but I always have to pay for extra time to finish. The property is always clean and looks like it's well taken care of. Convenient from the parkway. I'll be back again soon.

Not a perfect wash from the touchless automated wash but as good as a local touch wash that costs almost twice as much (neither could remove bug guts). I'm excited to try the manual wash here when I have the right cash (the bill machine only breaks down $1, $5, and $10 bills)

I've been coming to this touchless car wash for many years. In my opinion, it offered a good wash for a great price, so long as the car doesn't have baked on dirt and grime.

Good wash, too expensive. Edit: Reduced from 4/5 to 3/5 stars, machine stole my quarters…

Always been here for the car wash. The price is not overpriced and the equipments are enough for a regular maintenance car wash. Just don't use the brushes here, those will scratch your car badly.

The owner was extremely rude. We were simply drying our car with a towel when he suddenly yelled at us, accusing us of leaving a used wipe on the ground. Without any evidence, he blindly blamed us—even though we didn’t have any wipes at all. Please come to here only if you want him to ruin your day

Gets the job done. Has the basics to get your car cleaned up, it (of course) isn't a thorough detail. Convenient location. Overall description of amenities: - 1 touchless bay, 4 self service bays - 3 vacuum stations - dispensers for supplies (towels, etc.) - no trash cans that i could see (dumpster is locked) - nice, large lot for cars to pull over after wash to dry car and any additional detailing you would like to do yourself (space is hard to come by for car washes in the city) Pricing: $6-9 for touchless, no dryer. $1 for ~5 min of vacuum time. 50 cents for towels NOTE: - Come prepared with CASH/quarters, as none of the machines accept cards. **$1, 5, 10 ONLY accepted, no $20s! - Well visited car wash due to location, so you may have a wait or need to move to allow other customers. Tip: **For a general detail of your car, come prepared with 4-5 rags (for drying, deep scrub of bug/sap removal), cash/quarters, bag for trash/dirty rags, hand sanitizer (to get your hands clean afterwards!).

bought the best touch less wash for 10$. White suv. Left all the dirt and bugs on it. Did the spot free rinse and still had to dry it off to get the rest of the debris off. Been using for years. Slowly going down and down. Will never fund this place again. Owner was too busy cleaning his Harley.

convenient location and touch payment works, which is awesome! the only downside is the vaccuums, which are not very sucky. ironically, that sucks. otherwise excellent!

My favorite car wash in the entire city! A proper self serve car wash, you can use either cash or card. The wash bays are solid and are always clean and reliable, never any problems detailing my car here. The biggest perk of this place though is truly the “Pittsburgh pride” aspect, as the views and vibes are iconically Pittsburgh. One of the best places to catch a sunset over downtown and wash your car at the same time. Can’t recommend a visit to here enough!

The owner got really mad and suspicious when I pulled in with my work truck just to get the salt off of it and he didn't like that I stuck $10 bill and to get quarters cuz he said are you going to use all them like it matters. And he stood there to pretend to sweep the parking lot and watch me wash my truck.

I’m so glad this place is still around! It’s one of the very few self-wash stations left in the area, and I really appreciate having the option to do it myself. They’ve recently updated the equipment, which is a nice touch, but I was in for a major shock at the checkout. The Pros: Availability: One of the last self-serve spots in town. Modernized: The recent updates to the facility are noticeable. The Cons: The Cost: Holy moly, it has gotten expensive! I went in for a "bare bones" visit—no soap, no wax, no fancy settings. I literally just did a quick spray with water to get the winter dirt off and it cost me ten dollars. Bottom Line: While I love the convenience of a DIY wash, $10 for a quick water rinse feels a bit ridiculous. I’ll keep coming back because there aren't many other options, but be prepared to pay a premium for that "updated" experience!

I like this car wash, and it’s the closest self-service car wash to me, so it’s convenient as well. However, on two separate occasions within the last month, I’ve been there alone washing my car during normal hours, and the owner has parked his truck near me and just watched me. I know it was him, as I later saw him exit his truck and enter the building itself. As a woman, this was clearly a little unnerving to me as this wash is a bit tucked-away. I saw previous reviews about the owner being a little crazy with showing up, yelling at people, telling people they take too long, etc. but I never experienced it until now. Just super odd, I will probably give somewhere else a shot next time.
