Once the gold standard for hardware stores and my hands down favorite…..now….not so much. People not interested in working is represented at this Spokane Valley icon. Very little knowledge but the need to sound informed is the mantra of the new Owner. I used to go herewith my grandfather in the 50’s.. Now…I don't even stop Just to avoid confrontation.( I sure miss the wood floors and the home made cookies)

So I've been going to Pete's for at least 5 years. Have loved it since day one. Walked and immediately felt like family. One of those shops that when ya walk in and tell em what you got going on, it's now their project. Even the new guy who helped me had made sure I got what I needed. Also they did a full remodel and it looks amazing.

Friendly, helpful management and employees. When I can't find something I need at box stores I can usually find it at Peter's. I went in today to see if they sold a tool to open my key fob to change the battery (locksmith wanted lots of $$$). The gentleman went one step further than he had to. He looked it up on YouTube and changed the battery for me. I appreciate his help so much.

Absolutely fantastic! We are having an unprecedented heat wave right now, and one of my mom's fans went out. I went to several stores and no one had any left. I called Peters thinking that there is no way they have any, but lo and behold they had several! The manager of the store, Thomas Hammer, said that he spent extra time tracking down fans the other day and ordered more so that they would have some in stock. That is absolutely going above and beyond! Not only that, but my mom bought both a high-velocity floor fan and a pedestal fan, and he offered to assemble the pedestal fan for us. He did that and took both fans to our car. That is extremely fantastic customer service that you just won't find in a big box store! My mom said that whenever she needs anything, she will absolutely go to Peters first! I'm right with her!

this place is 100% amazing.! I've been going there since 1968 and they have always been knowledgeable, professional and friendly. I always make sure to let my friends know to go there first if they are looking for something that's hard to find. I also prefer to go there than to go to the big stores. This is a great little hardware store. We we're looking for hard dryer vent piping. They did not have enough available due to the construction supply shortage. However, they we're willing to call around and find done at another store and offered to bring that piping in to cut and crimp what we needed. I love supporting small businesses and they proved to be amazing. So thankful They were able to help us!

My new FAVORITE hardware store! My daughter and I were on a mission today. We were seeking some supplies as well as possible knowledge on how to build something. After a visit to Lowe's, Aces, and Harbor Freight we were striking out on both. The best piece of advice we obtained was, "Go to Peter's Hardware." They were not wrong! I wish I had gotten the name of the gentleman who helped us. I explained what we had, what we were trying to do and before I knew it we were completely set. He even went out of his way to help us set things up! After talking to multiple people and going to multiple stores we finally found someone willing to give us some time and help. Thank you so much! We will see you again for sure! Plus I will be telling everyone to go see you all!

I have been a customer in this store for over 20 years. I have never been made to feel like a second class Patron, until today. Very Rude hardly notice I was there when they did. He put his finger on a screw drawer so I could not "Take" more than the two I asked for. FYI All the other Indo-European were greeted with a smile. I asked the person if this was the same store and management Me Laughing He said yes. Something is Definitely Different about Pete's Hardware in the Spokane Valley. I will never ever set foot in that establishment again, Ever. If that is what the new Pete's was aiming for. They were successful!

I am struggling in a plumbing job that is probably over my head. Many trips to the big hardware store near me. No help from anyone. I came to peters hardware and when I walked in the door I was greeted immediately by a checker and after she was done with her customer she SOUGHT ME OUT to see what I needed! Found the product I needed in just a few minutes! You have my business from here out!

Peters Hardware has been through many changes in the past few years. The staff have consistently been helpful, capable and knowledgeable. Prices are fair and when they don't have what I need, they can get it in less than a week most of the time. I went to Peter's hardware on a Sunday. Google Maps shows that they close at 3 PM. Today I was there at 2:45 PM, and I watched somebody lock the door as I was walking up to get a tool. They closed more than 10 minutes early just because they did not want to help a customer. When they were clearly there and supposed to be still open.
