I think this new company has gone DOWN HILL since they bought out all of VAN'S CARWASHES. First mistake was getting rid of the brush people when entering, they brush washed the front and back of your car that the car wash brushes couldn't reach. Now the blowers don't blow the water off before leaving which left the rear side panels of my car totally white from all the soap residew that wasn't rinsed off in the car wash. I complained and they had me run thru again which I had more the soap than the first time. I tried contacting the corporates office and was given the # of the district manager who doesn't call you back after leaving messages. I think the company is too cheap to hire the brush people when entering the car wash that Van's had for decades. I wouldn't go there anymore if it wasn't for the 100 car wash coupons I bought when Van's still owned it. To me..changes aren't always good for the better..in this case they aren't. SO BE WARE..

I get my oil changed here, usually the one on Apple Ave. The guys are super polite and considerate. They work fast and efficiently. My car always runs better after. I would recommend this place for sure!

I had an ultra wash last week and I noticed after it was done the back of my vehicle wasn't fully cleaned. I didn't have time to go back through the same day for a rewash. I tried calling the location and the number wasn't right on Google (I checked today and it is right now) called today and the manager Josh hooked me up and let me go back through today. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. Thank you!

Went through the automated car wash today and my truck was absolutely filthy with mud from my own road. Just expected to get an auto wash, but these guys went way way way above and beyond and scrubbed the heck out of my truck before I even got to the auto wash. The team here has always been great for oil changes and washes and anything else I’ve ever had done here. Will always come back. Thanks for being awesome!!

I just moved to the area and didn’t know where to go for an oil change. Gave this place a shot and it was a great experience! The team working were all knowledgeable and helpful and a pleasure to be around. Quick, in and out with no issue! Definitely will be back!

To put it plain and simple, my car held oil no problem before they touched my car. All of the oil leaked out of my car within 12 hours of the service. According to my mechanic, they stripped my drain pan plug. They refused to own up to their mistakes and refund me for their botched service and help cover damage costs. Save save yourself the stress and money and go literally anywhere else.

I've been using Performance Plus exclusively since moving to Muskegon last August and have had two high mileage oil changes and a transmission flush. I've not been to this location before last Friday but I was driving by and decided to see if the team here could help me. I had backed over something that caught my lower engine cover and it was scraping the pavement. I pulled in, was greeted warmly, and explained my situation. They offered to resecure it free of charge! What a blessing! Simple fix and I was out of there in less than ten minutes. So grateful! Huge relief! I want to personally thank Jason, Casey, Kaylan and Patrick for making my day. Good people at Performance Plus!

I never came here for a car wash or oil change but I was having exhaust issues and I asked for a pair of gloves and a gentleman Patrick told me to pull my car into the shop and he fixed up my exhaust free of charge in a minute. Even though it was a small job and I only asked for a pair gloves or rag & could have done it myself he was nice enough to help me & my kids on the way to daycare. They have integrity!

Man! My first time at a Vans Quick Lube and Car Wash. Great experience and so happy I went. Very friendly. Everyone wore a mask! Very nice guys and all 3 were able to get my oil changed for me in 15 minutes along with filling up my tires and my windshield wiper fluid. They helped me get my oil light off and it was absolutely amazing service. I went to the car wash next and the man that was working that was so nice and friendly and helped me with getting my vehicle into the right spot and got to scrubbing my car right away. So impressed with both of these and so glad I choose Vans. They will be my number 1 choice from now on!

Just moved to the area and need a new oil change place. The staff was very helpful and informative but not pushy like some quick lube places are. Free car wash with the oil change as well. Car wash did a great job and the building looked very organized and tidy. Will be back again for my next service.

My oil change cost $143 and was the fastest oil change I have ever had. Now I know why. None of the extras (tire pressure, washer fluid, light check,etc.) were done. But they were shown as complete on the receipt. I'm a little disappointed.

If you value your engine, go elsewhere. I brought my vehicle in for an oil change. Early the next morning my throttle control kicked in on the highway on the way to work. I discovered after pulling over to diagnose the issue that my engine did not have any oil in it. My wife found a large puddle of oil in our driveway where my vehicle was parked upon leaving for work (after the sun came up). I took my vehicle to Firestone who diagnosed that the filter was bad and replaced it. Shortly after I spoke with the DM over this location of Performance Plus who informed me that the oil filter was in fact on recall… which prompted me to ask myself how and why it found its way on to my vehicle… they reimbursed me for the cost of the oil change at Firestone. The next day… car is still leaking oil. Firestone referred me to the dealership as they noticed a large dimple in the oil cooler sealing surface. Long story short, after taking it to the dealer (who perform oil changes regularly on this type of vehicle) noted that it looked like someone went at it with a sledgehammer. Following the timeline. Car wasn’t leaking oil when I took it to Harvey St Performance Plus. After taking it to performance plus, car was leaking oil. Performance plus’ response was that the oil cooler was on recall. (In fact not on recall per the dealership) and they would not be covering this because ‘Firestone should have caught our mistake.’ When presented with the fact that it was on recall their response was ‘Well it should be on recall.’ Kind of an unsettling response from a company whose negligence caused the part to fail in the first place. I’m thankful I didn’t blow my engine. Don’t be like me, spend your time doing other things rather than taking this company to court to recoup costs to fix your vehicle, clean your driveway and from missing work. In closing, I was a loyal Van’s customer for years. Never had any issues.

If you like your car, don't bring it here. They mangled my oil filter, didn't bother to change it out and didn't make sure it was sealed. I was left with a half quart of oil in my engine and a major mess under my car. If you see a guy holding a sign begging for money, hire him to do your oil change before you come here. Between the oil change and having to bring it in to a real shop (who gave me pics and documentation on everything they found)I'm now down almost 600 dollars.. all because I trusted these guys. Looking at some of these reviews, seems like I'm not the only one with this issue
