I've been to Pacific Smog a couple of times and the owner is always cracking jokes and making me and everyone else chuckle. He is a very hardworking man and is very honest with the customers about what they need to do if they don't pass the smog test like getting a full tune up etc. His prices are also fair for all. I did have to wait a while to get the smog test done but it was worth the wait. I highly recommend you go to Pacific Smog & Lube. I rate it 5 stars.

I was super excited because of all of the positive reviews, but when I called to see what they quote for a smog, he said in a irritated voice “68” once i was in the process of saying, “okay thank you, do you accept walk ins” he hung up and did not let me ask about walk ins. I called immediately after, i did not receive a hello, just a very miserable annoyed man saying “yes?”.

This is my place for getting smogs the owner is so helpful he goes out of his way to help. I put a battery in my car so he checked before smoging it to be shure its code where set. Others may take advantage of that and make you retest. Plus he's open late.

What a great experience right after an awful one. I needed a smog test done one day before its due date. I was confident because my '97 BMW 540i always passes. My regular place had closed down so I went to another shop which turned out to be dishonest. (The Smog Shop on Main had listed $450 in unneeded services and was looking to run it up to $600). I got out of there fast and found this place. Sammy took good care of my car for $71 with the total ease of an experienced expert that he is and I thanked him for his honesty. He pointed to the row of awards on his counter which made perfect sense because Sammy's an expert at customer service too. I recommend him highly.

Guy is professional he doesn't ignore someone when working on a car I have gone to get a smog before and it was fast I hate that I live two maybe three blocks away but when I check places on Google maps for places that do smog checks this place isn't recommended to me being that it's literally the closest place to meand its literally friendly service last time I went I never asked for a chair I was willing to stand the whole time and he was kind enough to offer a chair I wouldn't want to go anywhere else
