Best self serve car wash I’ve ever been to. Drove from Ft. Lauderdale to Phoenix and my truck was filthy. This place offers EXCELLENT pre rinse, perfect foam, a good brush, excellent water pressure and a pretty great hand dryer. I used all of it for about 25 mins for $10. Incredible setup they have.

Great touchless car wash. Express wash is affordable, pretty fun to sit through, and does a great job cleaning although it did struggle to remove a few stuck on bugs on my bumper but that could be due to the shape of the Tesla bumper. Did amazing cleaning the rear of the car and glass roof. Way safer than a traditional car wash since you can just drive right out and there's nothing except the tire scrubbers making physical contact with the vehicle. Great car wash, will be my go to moving forward.

What a piece of junk! $15.00 and absolutely nothing happens. Cars backing up behind me honking horns while I wait for nothing. Easy to call it "touchless" what absolutely nothing works. Don't waste your money on this pit and find a real, working, carwash.

Just randomly jacked up their prices sometime around January 2026. Cheapest option is now $13 for touchless wash (used to be $7 or $8). Avoid this place.

Awesome place to bring your ride for a scrub down or pampering. The bays are nice and the roller brush free auto wash is great!

I have a Ford Raptor with light bars and other aftermarket parts and the Motor City Auto Wash has a touch less auto wash that can handle the width of my truck. It works great and makes my truck shine! Definitely head here to get your car or truck washed!

If your ride is lowered and you can't do the auto wash, this is the place for you. All in one in-bay car wash and clean.

Not a good car wash if you have bird poop on your windshield but it is a gentle car wash I would have used if I had my BMW again. Pure water car wash meaning no scrubbers and the dryer is ok. You have to pay for the vacuums but you still can get a $6 car wash here and if you only had a dusty car it’s good but overall .. not if it’s a really dirty car. I had to use my Windex in order to clean up the bird crap on my windshield. Yet great car wash for those fancy cars in gentleness and there is a self serve available

$3.00 Self Serv car wash. There is a touchless automatic drive-thru type wash as well. Nice location and clean too.

Went to get the Touchless car wash for the first time. Was a tricky but worked it out. Luckily I didn’t go over basic because the other packages scrubbed the wheels. I don’t understand why anything in any package for Touchless is … touching. Basic was fine for me although the wheels weren’t washed at all. I will go back again because as a basic car wash it’s great as I don’t always feel like getting my two buckets out.

So first it was taking my quarters and not counting them so I tapped my card and it overcharged my card after taking my quarters. I would not come back for that simple fact, how much it took off my card and quarters combined I could’ve paid to have a full service detailed wash somewhere else.

Motor City carwash is one of the best in the city. It has a touchless and brushless drive through car wasu that is unmatched. You get a superior quality car wash at a fraction of the cost compared to other car washes. The lot is clean, the bays are clean and this place seems very professional. Thank you! I recommend this place to anyone with a vehicle and give it a solid 5 stars! Try it!

Very good!! I finally got to wash my Mini RV. I love the pressure that it gives. Iffy area around and the place can be repainted. But it still worked well. Can use tap pay.

Here's a review for people who are new to the touchless car wash or nervous about going. I decided to switch after I noticed some scuffs in my paint from the car wash up the street. There was a card reader in each stall to start your transaction. Then there are a series of different settings for the handle(s) you use to wash your car. They appear to be in the order you should use them, so I did. There's a minimum charge of $3 for 4 minutes after which the meter starts ticking up. I ended up paying $13.45 for around 18 minutes. My car looks really great and thoroughly clean unlike the automatic brush car wash which misses parts of my hatchback. I think the price is super reasonable! My recommendation would be to use the feature on Google for when this place is busy and come during off-hours. It's hard to give your car a great clean when someone is waiting right behind you for your bay.

I pulled into Motor City today expecting a car wash, but apparently, I signed up for a homeopathic spa treatment for my truck. I watched with bated breath as the "soap dispenser" cleared its throat and delivered a single, translucent whisper of bubbles—about as much soap as you’d find in a sneeze. Then came the deluge: a biblical amount of water to wash away... absolutely nothing. If you’re looking to pay premium PHX prices to give your car a lukewarm bath with zero suds, this is your spot. Otherwise, keep driving.

I LOVE this place and highly recommend Motor City Auto Wash. My first time there, I had a problem stopping the timer while using my credit card. I called the HELP phone number on the sign and Lenny picked up. I explained that I pushed the stop button but the timer kept going (charging my credit card). Lenny replied that you need to push the button quickly and lightly to stop it. He also told me that he would credit the overcharge plus a few dollars more, back to my credit card for the inconvenience. THAT IS AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE and how you get instant loyal customers! I highly recommend this business because they actually care about their customers.

Touchless car wash. $10 is the mid-high average cost. One step higher gets you an extra coating. Never tried it. The wash does pretty good when the nozzles aren't clogged and the soap is refilled. The dryer doesn't get nooks and crannies (open truck beds will froth), and won't reach the steep back of a van/SUV. You'll want to get out after and hand dry. Vacuums are strong and all services and do TAP from phone or CC.just remember to STOP service or it will get expensive.

$1 per minute and seems to be cheaping out on foam. It’s a nice location with good lighting but the foam brush is pretty warn down and the foam production is not good. Good dryer pressure, but $1/m I would expect more quality for such a busy location. (Willing to edit review if management resolved these issues)

Good self service car wash or drive thru touch less if you prefer. I do wish the self service wash was a little bit less and wasn’t a dollar for every feature. For example, the air blower shouldn’t be a dollar per minute as that’s usually where I spend the most time trying to dry my vehicle. It works well, but I still towel dry after. I don’t think it should be $15 for 15 minutes of time when I’m washing myself. For that reason I didn’t give 5 stars.
