I had the opportunity to meet and speak with Smitty, the owner of Modern Pro Polish. I was only there to pick up a friend for a ride home but ending up spending about two hours at the shop learning about the art behind paint restoration. Smitty is a genuine person who is not only experienced and knowledgeable in this profession, but also very passionate about what he does. My friend and I saw one of his restoration jobs IN PERSON (mid project) and we were blown away. He has not worked on my personal vehicle but I have a 2019 Challenger Scatpack Widebody that will be scheduled in the shop soon. I definitely recommend and support Modern Pro Polish. PS - This may be the third review I have ever written in my life but felt it deserved one.

To start I will say Smitty is a true pros pro. As a newbie in paint correction to a high end level I feel 100% confident in my skills after countless of hours reading the through the TRAINING CLASSES. Their are so many great tips you can add to your skill and get those high quality results on almost any vehicle you come across. From the moment I reached out to Smitty to the time I received my car back, all the positive reviews below I can personally attest to are accurate! Smitty came to my place to look at the paint correction needed on my newly purchased used 2020 Lexus Es. He took time to explain the imperfections in my paint and offer suggestions. He corrected the God awful marring in my vehicle paint that happened with my car’s previous owner (s)and kept me up to date with text/calls frequently. If you need paint correction or ceramic coating, I wouldn’t hesitate to see this guy AT ALL. What an exceptional and great experience with this business unlike any other businesses I’ve dealt with in Fayetteville. Kenneth and his team truly are masters at their craft! Not only did their restore the paint vibrancy on my vehicle, but they also protected and sealed it with the most pristine ceramic coating I have ever seen. They went out of their way to help me replace custom decal work on my truck by special ordering multiple pieces and applying them with top notch line work! Dull and weathered trim work has been restored to factory freshness via their special trim restoration process, and multiple scratches I thought would require a new paint job were removed by this team!! If you need custom, restoration, or detail work of any kind this is where you need to go!!

I had my 17 Scat Pack Charger at the dealership for some minor repair work. Scratches on both rear doors. They messed it up something horrible with a buffer. 15 returns in a year and they couldn't get it straight. I found Smitty at Modern Pro Polish on google and as a referral. I needed someone who did paint correction. The body shop i had the repair done does not have a paint correction specialist on the payroll. From what i understand none of them do. They need one for sure. Ought to be mandatory. Smitty stopped what he was doing and gave me an estimate. He said i wouldn't recognize the car when he was done. He was right!! The Dealership paid for the paint correction @ $600. I paid extra to go ahead and get the ceramic coating. That reline tri-coat pearl has a lot of metal flake in it and is hard to work with. Smitty kept me updated through facebook and instagram with pictures and what he had done so far. Great customer interaction. When it was done and i picked it up, i tried to hug him!! No really it looked better than brand new. I could not believe my eyes. These pictures don't do it the best justice but a sunny day will blind you!! I'll never own another car without ceramic. After 2-3 years when its time to be applied again, i'll be back for sure!! Thanks Smitty and Modern Pro Polish. I'd give 10 stars if possible. Check him out on Facebook and Instagram. Was very skeptical to bring my wife’s Escalade anywhere. As soon as I met Smitty, I knew I didn’t have to worry! The entire process was professional and they sent updates keeping me informed. Wanted to take time and show some love to Modern Pro Polish! My GMC Envoy was in shop for paint correction. They constantly stayed in contact as well as sent before and after photos during the process. I picked up my GMC Envoy today and my vehicle does not look like the same vehicle. Short review - I'm a satisfied customer and highly recommend Modern Pro Polish. I will do business with them again. Long review - I was looking for place on the internet to get my 2010 Hinda Ridgeline detailed and came across Modern Pro Polish. I read the reviews and they all seemed pretty positive. At that moment, I called & nobody answered. Within a couple minutes or so, I got a call back from Smitty. I told him I was interested in getting my car detailed. He then explained what they do and asked if I could bring my truck in so he could have a look at it. When we met in person, he was very professional and stated he'd have the truck looking better than brand new once they were done with it. I said to myself, "This guy is really confident about his work." He also told me about the different packages and didn't try to persuade or up sale me on any of them. I chose a package that was good for my budget, set a date to bring my truck back, and that was it. I took my truck to his shop on a Monday & he said he'd have it ready by the following Friday. As the next couple of days went by, Smitty sent me before and after progress pics. I immediately saw the difference in what our truck was going to look like once he was finished. It was looking really good might I add. Prior to the Friday when I was supposed to pick up my truck, he reached out to let me know he had to go out of town but could still have my truck ready by Friday. I told him I didn't want a rush job. He reassured me that it wasn't going to be a rushed job at all. I told him it was no rush and next week would be fine (because I wasn't using the truck for anything). I ended up getting my Saturday of the following week. In total, he had our Ridgeline for 13 days vs 5 days. No big deal. The results though....STUNNING! Just AMAZING! Our truck hasn't had any type of professional treatment since we took it off the lot back in 2010. I've washed it and taking it through car washes, but nothing to this extent. It literally looks like our truck is a piece of glass because it so glossy & clean (that's a good thing). The black color REALLY pops and it pretty much looks like a brand new truck. My wife and I are both pleased with the results. Smitty is a great guy and I will be a returning customer. I highly recommend him/Modern Pro Polish to any one who's looking to have quality work done on their vehicle. You know the saying, "If you want something right, you have to do it yourself?" Well, I felt as if Smitty treated our truck as if it were his own. He explained the entire process. He was transparent, professional & confident. Great folks there with good attitudes. I am VERY HAPPY with the work they did. My truck looks like it just came out the factory line! It doesn’t matter if the suns not out my truck is shining! Last photo is a close up you can’t see any discrepancies just a mirror finish! 10/10 am recommending!
