My husband brought my car in for a platinum cleaning after seeing the wash and lube was under new ownership. Mike’s team did an incredible job and we will most definitely be back! In fact, our other car will be going in for a full detail this coming week. We are beyond excited to have this great car wash re-opened under new ownership - a complete 180! The facility is clean, the employees are hard working, diligent, and efficient. Tip: they take walks ins. They hand wash the cars and not currently using the drive through wash. Do not let the drive through wash not running shy you away from dropping in for a quick car wash. You will not be disappointed!

I had an outstanding experience at Mike's Hand Car Wash & Lube Center! I recently got an oil change and car detailing done, and I couldn't be happier with the results. The team was incredibly professional and efficient, and my car looks and runs like new. Their attention to detail during the detailing service was impressive. Has become my favorite hand car wash place in Connecticut for me. They do a very thorough job vacuuming every speck of dust, washing floor mats, and making sure the outside is spotless. It is not a rush job whatsoever. The owner is friendly and always overseeing his business which guarantees high quality every time. I’ve brought both of my cars here multiple times. Worth every dollar. 10/10 recommend.

10/10 would recommend. They exceeded my my expectations. Look no further for all Auto Detailing needs!!! I reached out Mike after having a horrible experience at a hand car wash establishment in east haven and requested an Interior Auto Detailing service the next day which he was happy to accommodate. Mike was extremely kind and understanding over the phone. When I arrived at the establishment they started the job immediately and finished the job on time! The interior of my vehicle looks brand new, smells amazing, and they did a marvelous job installing seat covers for me for a fair price. The waiting area is very elegant, warm and inviting. Their products are well organized and their workspace is squeaky clean.

I had a bad experience. Be very careful when you go to get your oil changed because they never actually change it here. Also, they ask you what type of oil you want, whether you want full synthetic or regular, but it's the same oil. Be very careful, he's very dishonest; he didn't change the oil. WARNING: Check your oil before you leave!

I've waited a year and a half to write this review, because I try not to leave negative reviews of people. However, I am still upset. I got my car fully detailed here in 2024 and the guy did not know what we was doing. It was so bad that I took it back there an hour later because it looked like it had not been waxed. He went over it quickly, and whatever he did to polish the car ended up creating those "swirls" that cars get when a bad wax job is done. I've taken it somewhere else to get those swirls out since, and I was told that it is in the clear coat and I need a WET SAND job done in order to fix what Mike's did to my car. I don't have that kind of money. A year and a half later and I am still dealing with someone's mistake. Don't go here, it will cost you more than it is worth.

This is the place to get your car washed and detailed if you want it done correctly. They always do amazing work, and never leave any detail unfinished. Importantly, because they are working by hand you don’t have to worry about scratches. Literally the only place I go with my truck for a wash. The best!

I’ve been getting the platinum wash at Mike’s for the past few months and they always do great work. They take their time but still get you in and out pretty quick. Super accommodating too—if there’s any spot on the car you want them to pay extra attention to, they’re on it. Really solid place.
