Today a hit a pole that scraped the side of my EV9 making it all black. It looked horrible and I thought for sure I was going to have to have it repainted (I should have taken a before pic). I thought I would take a chance to see if it could be buffed out and had heard great things about Mel’s. I dropped in without an appointment and asked and he literally buffed it out in 15 minutes. Y’ALL! It looks like the day I bought it! I will be taking my car here for every detail in the future! Thanks Mel!

Today I got my car detailed for the first time ever at Mel’s. I didn’t know what to expect, but the team at Mel’s exceeded my expectations. They were able to get stains out of the upholstery of my 10 year old SUV that I had given up on. The service was friendly, fast and reasonably priced. I have never been to Mel’s but that is going to change. Today I witnessed a Mel’s employee helping an elderly lady across Seigen Lane on foot so that she could go to Starbucks. The employee was so courteous and nice, and he didn’t appear to be bothered at all by doing something so outside of his employment responsibilities. If that is the type of customer service Mel’s provides, you’ve got my business from here on out!

UPDATE: Mel reached out after seeing my original review and let me know that he had no knowledge of my experience and wanted to correct the service. Mel went ABOVE AND BEYOND and exceeded any possible expectations I could have had for a car detail. Not only was my detail exceptional but he exudes what an exemplary leader and business owner should be. Thanks, Mel! I’ll definitely be back for my next detail! I’m genuinely disappointed to leave this review. I haven’t written many negative or mediocre reviews and I was so excited to bring my car to Mels. I scheduled an 8am appointment for the “Mel Man” package, and the time allotted was 2 hours. I got there at 7:50 (because they ask you to arrive a little early) and went back for 10:40am and my car was not complete. Not a big deal. I told them we had a soccer game to attend and the guy managing Mel’s told us to just go to the game and we could pick up after. We arrived back to Mels for 12:30pm. Looked over the car, like I was asked, and it was definitely not up to the standard of the reviews posted or the service I had scheduled. Now, I’m not sure if they were rushing because it’s a holiday weekend and I wont make assumptions, but I had high expectations for this detail and they fell short. When I asked about specific things that weren’t done I was initially met with a defensive attitude and excuses… I asked again if I misunderstood the description of the service that I was scheduled for, such as my interior being wiped down, Clean Windows Inside/Out, Clean Fender Wells/Door Jams, etc. and he said that I did not misunderstand and he “was taking care of it now”, “but that when I brought my car in it was a mess.” I waited an additional 25ish minutes for him to go back over the interior. Now, let me say this… I cleaned my car out and pre-vacuumed it before my detail. I know my car was dirty which is precisely why I scheduled a detail with experts in detailing cars. My time is limited and because i don’t have the time to take away from other responsibilities, I paid to have this done for me. So when I am paying for a service, I would expect that it’s done better than I am capable of doing and with better attention to detail. There are few things more awesome than watching people do something they take pride in and presenting it to you. Several interior spots weren’t wiped down. My rear view mirror wasn’t even cleaned. The interior of my sunroofs weren’t cleaned. I’ll attach photos for reference. Now, the manager, after going over the interior of my car himself, did discount the service (which I insisted he didn’t need to do, but I appreciated nonetheless) and that is why I’m not giving a lower rating. Like I said, really hate leaving this review. I’ll give them another run and hopefully be able to update my rating. Maybe this was just an off day; we all have those.

This place is AMAZING! I honestly did not recognize my car when I picked it up. The dull black trim was shining bright and looked brand new. The inside was immaculate. My cloth seats had a lot of different staines and they’re gone! The guys were so kind, great customer service! I highly recommend this place!

My car wash was superb, just the outside though as I've been driving cross country and my car was filthy. My total was about $60 or so I thought, I tipped thirty but somehow my card is now showing I was charged $100 and then the $30 tip so guess who won't be going back there. $100 for an outside wash is bananas! I tipped well because I liked their service but damn

Let me first start off by saying the owner, Mel, takes extreme pride in his business and in making sure his customers are pleased with the finished product and it shows. I brought my Nissan Maxima to the Siegen Lane location. I understand no one is perfect and there are “off” days. There were a few things I wasn’t happy with on the outside of the car and I did reach out to Mel just to bring it to his attention. He insisted I bring my car back and they make it right. Even though I told him the inside was perfect and they did not need to redo that, he said the entire car would be done again. My car looked brand new! I highly recommend Mel’s and am planning on going back. His professionalism is worth more than 5 stars.

I’m a couple days late in posting my review, but I went last week to get my car detailed ahead of selling it and these guys did a phenomenal job! Mel came and greeted me himself right when I arrived and the whole team had great customer service. I had years of pet hair accumulation that they got out, they cleaned up under the hood, and got the rust removed from the rims on my tires. Highly recommend this place for a good detail of your vehicle!

If I could give Mel’s 10 stars, I would! My car looks brand new on both the inside and outside. These guys cut absolutely no corners! More importantly, the customer service is amazing. The owner, Mel, made it a point to introduce himself to me when I dropped off my car and he called me after to make sure I was happy with the service. They even buffed out some scratches i didn’t even mention. Will definitely be back!

I’m honestly so impressed with the detailing service. My car looks brand new — inside and out. They paid attention to every little detail, from the carpet to the dashboard to the exterior shine.
