This shop might be small, but their service is far superior than going to a big Home Depot. And they don't act like I should know everything and like they dont wamt to explain anything to me. Even though they didn't have the crazy scooter battery I needed the employee went on their personal phone to find out if any company had it! Another employee reminded me I needed to other things and even took apart a water spigot to show me where I needed to put a new washer in.

Very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly staff. Comparable prices with Lowe’s and Home Depot. I’m not very handy. The small store help is what is very attractive. They help with whatever project you ask them about and know the right materials to use.

I've lived in Redding for more than 20 years and I think that this is the first time I've been in this store. Sorry that I waited so long! I went in for an item that if I ordered online, I would have to order 6 of them. I only need 1! The gentleman that helped me offered to bring 6 into the store if I bought 1. Very nice of him since they didn't normally carry this item. Customer service above and beyond the norm for this day and age!

It's a small store, but it's clean and the layout feels tidy and organized. They have some very helpful and friendly staff. I walked in and right away an employee was asking if I needed help. If I could give this place a higher rating I would.

Absolutely phenomenal staff! Johnathan and his team were very friendly and understanding with a situation that my sister and I had to deal with yesterday after going to the Anderson location. We did have to go to the Ace off Hartnell to pick up the product we purchased but that was nothing compared to getting the actual help and not being told something is good and being lied to our faces about a product. If you live in the Anderson, CA area I highly recommend coming here before ever going there.

Updated 8/9/2023: Went in again for a quick project around the house and they were ready right at their opening time. Staff were helpful and easy to work with. Wish I could give them higher, but I never made it in the store as the website said they closed at 7pm and when I got there at 6:40pm they were already locked up. Had to go to Lowes instead because they're open until 9pm.

I must of came on a bad day because from the cashier to the two male staff members, they didn’t want to assist. Completely unhelpful and also demeanor that they did not want to assist as well.

I was in the store today and I was almost in tears. I was trying to install a new toilet shutoff valve and was struggling with a compression nut. I had bought a tool but I learned how to use it from a video and it wouldn’t work. I3 days no water. I asked for the best plumber working. 2 men spent time with me and assured me I didn’t use it right. Thank God I listened because it is fixed, No leaks, and as a woman I feel really proud because it was one speed bump after another. What great customer service! I might have to come back in to hug them! I wish I caught their names because they really went above and beyond to help me. They never made me feel stupid or incapable. Thank you so much Ace Hardware!

I love this Ace..it IS one of the smaller ones yet I almost always find what I need. SOME of the staff aren't as helpful as they should be imo but it IS Ace
