I brought a Kolbolt chainsaw that was defective, apparently Lowes return policy on Kobolt tools is after 48 hours you can't return it . When I tried exchange the defective tool i couldn't do that either. My question is if you dont stand by your product why sell it , furthermore why should I have to contact Kobolt ? I purchased said product from you directly. 2024 Lowe's profit margin was 6 Billion . I guess the company still nickle and diming. I'm flabbergasted. I will not contribute another penny to the next 6 billion profit .

My husband opted to go through Lowe’s to have our backyard fenced in because they offered a more reasonable price and we only needed the back part fenced in since we have neighbors on both sides, 2 months later and our fence is finally only half finished. This is now going on the third or fourth time they have to order/reorder the correct materials. Originally they ordered the completely wrong fence, the next order the posts were missing. Finally, when the posts came in the contractors started the installation and the lattice did not match our neighbors, as we live in an HOA, and this was the issue with the initial order. When the contractors checked out the gate, go figure it was the wrong gate. The caps to the posts were also missing in the order. So now we have a half finished fence installed, and we just have to wait another 2-3 weeks for the *hopefully* correct parts show up. The sales representative (Vanessa I believe) has provided us with such a terrible experience with lack of communication. We got the Lowe’s credit card for this project and there have been multiple charges to the card that we don’t even know what they are, as we are unable to see what’s being ordered on our behalf. We’ve been making payments on this project that still has yet to be completed. This experience has left us completely unsatisfied with the customer service and sales representative Lowe’s has to offer

Worst experience today because of the manager Gary, he thinks he owns the store and wouldn't honor their price tags on the wall or at least try. I'm taking this to corporate office. He took the price down on the spot because he knew they made an error. Gary has failed to guide his store and keep product prices up to date. Mr. Gary either has terrible people skills or maybe he looks at everyone from head to toe.

Complaint Regarding Return Experience and Lack of Policy Transparency: I’m writing to express my frustration with a recent experience at your store regarding the return of two portable air conditioning units I purchased in urgent circumstances. On the evening of July 3rd, my central A/C began blowing hot air. Given the time of night and the upcoming July 4th holiday, I was unable to get an HVAC technician to service it promptly. Due to the extreme heat, I went to my local Lowe’s and purchased two portable A/C units in-store. I used self-checkout and, before leaving, I asked a store associate whether the items were returnable if they didn’t work out. She assured me they were, and told me to keep my receipt. Unfortunately, after setting them up at home, both units repeatedly tripped my circuit breaker and caused power outages. After multiple attempts to get them running, I boxed them back up. I left town for the holiday and returned to the store to make the return on July 11th. I brought both units back in their original boxes, with all parts and the receipt. At the customer service desk, I was assisted by a helpful associate who was training a new employee. After scanning the receipt and items, she informed me that a manager would need to approve the return due to the purchase being over 48 hours old. Manager "Juk" approached the desk without greeting me and bluntly stated that there was nothing he could do because the return was outside the 48-hour window. I explained that I was not made aware of such a strict return policy when purchasing and asked if it was noted on the receipt. He replied that it was not, and further stated that "no company prints return policies on receipts" and that I should have looked online. This response was both unhelpful and dismissive. I explained that, as a customer, I rely on staff to share critical return policy information—especially when making emergency purchases. Had I known about the 48-hour restriction, I may have made a different decision. When I asked for his supervisor’s contact information, he refused, stating he does not give out his manager’s number. He handed me a 1-800 number, which turned out to be a service line for repairs—not a corporate contact. His lack of professionalism, empathy, and willingness to provide any meaningful solution was deeply disappointing. I am now stuck with two unusable A/C units totaling approximately $600 due to unclear policies and poor customer service. I am requesting a reconsideration of this return or, at minimum, clearer communication of your return policies at the point of sale in the future. This experience does not reflect the level of service I expect from Lowe’s, especially in emergency situations. Waldorf, MD 29601 Location

Ordered a shower door online for delivery at the store. They delivered a ripped up package and sent me on the way. I hope nothing is broken and i wil never order online again. Looked like some children put the package together!!!

I love coming to this Lowe’s! But I have to say, I really miss my favorite cashier Lesly. She was always so kind, efficient, and made my visits feel extra special. Her positive energy and great customer service really stood out. Hope to see her back at the register soon!

I recently visited Lowe's Home Improvement in Waldorf, MD, and while I was able to find what I was looking for, the checkout experience was frustrating. Self-checkout was the only option available—there were zero cashiers, making me feel like I was expected to work for them.I couldn’t help but wonder if they want my business or if they want me as an employee. My time is important to me, and wasting it doing the work of an $18/hr employee is quite insulting. It’s disappointing to see such a lack of customer service in a store that otherwise has a good selection of products.

The fact that the Store Manager is still at this store location needs to be investigated! You can’t expect great service when you have a no good store manager because then they are passing bad habits down to the rest of management.

Ordered a generator on line and paid for it with Lowe's credit card, Then got a phone call and was told they were not supposed to sell them online because the demand was hi at the time. It's not like it was not paid for. Technically it was my generator bought and paid for. They cancelled the order.

Very organized and great customer service. However, I was a little disturbed when I pulled into a dark parking lot!! Lowe’s please install adequate lighting especially during the holidays and the spike in crime.

Got my stuff and the person gave me swfiter wet wipes that are leaking. They just put it in a trash bag and still sent it for my online order. I guess since you can't see what you are getting then they will give you anything. First and last time ordering from this Lowes. I have come to the conclusion after all these years that you can not trust Lowes. Forgot to mention the women gloves they sent in a medium when I ordered a large. Nothing in the description says women, just garden gloves and size.

The staff here are shockingly helpful. From the moment I walked in I was helped. I was short on time and every second counted. My father had just died, I had to gather forensic evidence from his home before the sun rose and blocked the UV lighting. The staff unbeknownst to all three of them allowed me in, directed me to the lockers, showed me how to get my stuff and even cut open the boxes for me as I had no scissors. Thank you so much, I now can prove a company negligently left behind evidence of the aftermath of his death. You never know the impact customer service can have on someone's life. Thank you.

I went to Lowe's to buy a few things for my home DIY project. I was lost and needed help finding the right tools. I came across Ernest he wears a red vest and works for Lowe's, he helped me pick out the right tools and ladder for my project explaining to me how everything works with a great attitude. This is the best level of customer service Ive ever had, professional and empathetic to my lack of information. If you are new to home projects ask for Ernest he is very helpful and knowledgeable. Great store location.

Ed in painting is the absolute BEST. He solidified my reasoning to ONLY come to this Lowe's location from now on. Thank you! You are the definition of extreme great customer service. I had a problem and lost all hope in repeating business with Lowe's because of some bad smelling paint I purchased but because of you expertise and care for the customers needs, I will always be back at this location. Thank you!

This the absolute worst Lowe’s in Charles county. They lack professionalism and transparency. I purchased $50 per can Valspar paint from this location due to the paint guarantee after asking an associate as stated to do and him assuring me if I was not satisfied I could bring it back for an exchange. He also assured me of the one coat guaranty and said this was top quality paint from Lowe’s. It says I had 30 days to bring it back for an exchange if not satisfied. I brought it back in less than 4 hours and was told that I could not return it. I showed pictures of the poor quality of this paint after painting a small wall with over 5 coats and it still being opaque and white instead of the cream color I asked for. The people in the store even agreed that it performed poorly it looked more like primer alone and not top quality paint. This paint supposedly also come with one coat guarantee. None of this was honored by this location and the manager Melinda was completed nasty and dismissive. She told me that they would retrain the associates huh?!? What does that due for me as a consumer who did everything asked before making a purchase. I asked for the policy on quantity required to return and she said it’s not written it’s assumed… assumed by who? She then asked would I expect them to take back empty items.. this item was empty by no means!! They also told me they would speak to a Valspar rep about my experience.. again what does that do for me?!? I painted my whole house before and never had an issue and I used more affordable paint from Walmart.. so guess what I went to Walmart and purchase $23 paint and was able to successfully paint the room and still had over half a gallon left. In the last 2 days I have spent over $700 at Lowe’s and I was treated like this over $50 paint smh

This is the absolute worse Lowe's in Charles county. I purchased $200 worth of paint on Nov 18th. I ended up returning two cans of the wrong color that was mixed for me on Dec 17th. I had two more cans of paint on the same purchase of the 18th that was unopened and unused that I tried to return on Dec 20th and was told that I couldn't return them due to their 30 day policy. I left the cans of paint on the customer service desk and left because I was heated after talking to the manager (Melinda). She's AWFUL in dealing with customers. Anywho, I called back this morning and asked what did they do with my cans of paint that I left and she said they disposed of them. When I asked her how were they disposed of, she replied, we disposed of them with no real explanation. Lowe's needs to do better! I will be purchasing my paint from Home Depot now and returning any unused items I have purchased from Lowe's that falls within the return period. With poor service like this, this company does not deserve my business or money. Now that they said that my paint was "disposed" of, Lowe's has stolen $60 from me. This is UNACCEPTABLE! UPDATE: I just left this Lowe's from returning items I purchased from Lowe's and decided to go check the paint aisle to see if my paint I tried to return and get a refund from was "disposed" of. To NO surprise, my paint was sitting on the shelf to be resold. Melinda told me a bold face lie and said that I couldn't get my paint back because it was disposed of. This is fraud and TERRIBLE customer service. Why lie? See pictures for proof that these were the exact same cans of paint that I purchased, tried to return, left at the store, was told by the manager, Melinda, that it was disposed of and I could not have them back. Just to find them on the shelf for resale the next day. 😡😡 I am VERY DISAPPOINTED in Lowe's and this employee/manager!
