I recently purchased a 2025 Kia K4 GT from Kia of Waldorf, and my experience was nothing more than top tier from start to finish. I had the pleasure of working with the salesperson, Mr. Dawayne, He was knowledgeable, never pushy, PATIENT and kind. I really appreciate the time he took out for me and getting me into the car that I LOVE!! Overall the experience was amazing. Every staff member greets you and just makes you feel welcomed! I would for sure recommend this dealership for any car purchases. Ask for Mr. Dawayne - he will take great care of you!

Here we go… I Love that my vehicle is working good but the customer service. It is something about that which I don’t get but WATCH as “EVERY OTHER CUSTOMER” get concerned service. I have NO OTHER place to go the next KIA is in Bowie and I have a purchased service plan with this dealer. Is it I was too early in the morning for appointment? What is it with me?? I don’t get it but because my hands are tied and I don’t know of a mechanic that can service my KIA I am obligated to give my “HARD EARN MONEY”to keep my vehicle maintained at this place. I watched and noticed how others were treated versus me. I can’t put my finger on it and trying to be nice and not say anything but I am leaving my opinion here it’s unfair to sit here and stew over today. Also, It is something about this Service Representative that I DO NOT TRUST. They don’t think when I was there for the other appointment - oil change, you gave my ticket off to someone else for me to sign/agree for the service to be performed on my vehicle. I NOTICED IT!! Like he didn’t want to interact with me but you want a GOOD REVIEW, seriously….Insulting. I am leaving a review today because I set from appointment time 7:30a.m.(which I showed up early and NO ONE WANTED TO SPEAK BACK TOO ME) — until after 10:00a.m. with NO UPDATE and just plain sit in observation. Yes, it was to install the parts that were purchased from recent visit but come on NO UPDATES & THANK YOU FOR YOUR MONEY —“Have a good day”. That’s awful! Get this… I need tires and got to go back, fun times. I PURCHASED THIS VEHICLE FROM THIS DEALERSHIP & I SWEAR it’s like your on pins and needles at the service center with asking questions or even how a representative “TREATS YOU!!” PERIOD. No problems with KIA SPORTAGE so far the mechanics work is very EXCELLENT! Only, gosh I work too hard and pay money to feel in being treated this way.

A wonderful experience. My spouse and I came in during a rainy cold evening, as soon as we came inside, we were warmly welcomed by Dwight. We asked about a Kia Carnival hybrid and Dwight was able to bring us the exact model we were looking for. He provided no pressure during our whole interaction and provided total transparency regarding cost. He also gave a good price for our trade in. While there were no pressure from Dwight, we chose to buy the Carnival due to the best price they offered, the smooth purchasing process and the friendly atmosphere. Everyone at the dealership were friendly and attentive. They provide total transparency in what they do. Overall, Bayside Kia is great place to purchase your new vehicle as they offer the best prices and experience.

Took my car for a scheduled oil change. I asked if they could take a look at a rattling sound. They were able to diagnose the problem and it was covered under extended warranty. We were without the car for a day and a half but all fixed. Mike in the service department was great at communicating and getting the job done! As far as time of oil change I would allow 2 hours for an oil change if you are waiting there. That’s been my average over the past years.

It seemed to start out a little rough, but tho the process became easy. The car has replayed some issues, however, my wife spoke to Cliff and he took care of her. He made sure she could get to work and promised to follow up with us. So far it seems we have made the right decision. We shall see by way of the end result.

We recently purchased our first Kia, and I am delighted to share that I experienced fantastic customer service from my first phone call with Ryan. He had amazing attentiveness for our service needs. I received a MD inspection and another service item that our vehicle needed to keep it safely running on the road. I was also given some future recommendations for other service items. Unfortunately, I missed the last shuttle of the day to pick up my vehicle - but transportation was provided to get me to the dealership which was awesome! Needless to say we will be back to service our vehicle here!!

We had a very disappointing experience with Bayside Kia. Their online listings showed prices around $8,000 lower than other local competitors for a brand-new vehicle, which is what initially attracted us to visit in person. Before coming in, we spoke with a salesperson who mentioned that some rebates might not apply. We understood that and simply asked for an out-the-door price or even an estimate, but they refused to provide any numbers. Since we were serious buyers and didn’t want to go back and forth, we decided to come in anyway. After test driving the car, we were given a price sheet that raised several red flags. They added a freight fee at the maximum amount, which is typically already included in the vehicle’s selling price, along with very high registration and tag fees. In the end, we were only eligible for $2,000 in rebates. I repeatedly asked—multiple times and in different ways—how the advertised $8,000 in savings turned into only $2,000, and I never received a clear or transparent answer. Eventually, a sales manager brought out an internal email from his boss dated 2024 explaining how the rebates work. It became obvious that the extremely low online price was based on stacking every possible rebate and discount, in which most of the average buyer does not qualify for. With everything added up, the total came out to $52,000 for a vehicle we ultimately purchased elsewhere for $44,000. (Brand new) The pricing tactics felt misleading and lacked transparency. If you’re shopping here, be very cautious of the online prices and be prepared for a very different number once you sit down in person.

**Bad Review for Bayside Kia of Waldorf Service Center** I had a truly frustrating experience at Bayside Kia of Waldorf Service Center. I took my car there for repairs about a month ago and ended up paying a staggering $3200. I trusted their expertise, as they provided a diagnostic inspection report stating that my battery was in good condition. Fast forward to now, and my car battery won’t hold a charge at all. When I reached out to them for help, they informed me that I would need to pay an additional $700 for another diagnostic. It’s infuriating that I’m being asked to spend more money after already shelling out a significant amount for what I thought would be a comprehensive repair. To make matters worse, the service consultant casually mentioned that he would have advised against putting more money into the car if he had known it wasn’t worth it. That’s an incredibly convenient statement to make after I’ve already spent over $3200! I expected better customer service and transparency from a dealership like Bayside Kia. Instead, I feel taken advantage of and frustrated by the lack of accountability. I will not be returning and would not recommend this service center to anyone looking for reliable automotive care. Save your money and go somewhere else!
