I went to wash my car about an hour ago and changed 10$ into coins. I used those and needed to rinse my car still so I tapped my card and once I was finished it said the total was $3.75 I check my bank account and it says $20 pending from Lomita Car Wash. I am trying to call the owner to figure this out, was it a $20 fee then it will refund the difference or is it just a scam?!

This self service car wash is the business! All of the equipment needed is well taken care of, and I have never had an issue using anything! Pressure wand will blast off all that dirt, bird doodoo, and tree sap! The sudzy foam will make it easy to glide your mitten over your paint! Hit this place up!

So I got egged on Halloween at the 99 cent store. Went to car wash it cleaned all the dried egg off my car. Egg dries fast by the way. That's pch to lomita Blvd. Very good car wash I will be back. And it's open 24 hours. Three dollars. Three stalls

Usually a decent car wash but I went there the other day and the change machine ate my $5 dollars. I couldn't find anybody that works there to help me out. I remember the old man that use to own it always refunded if anything like this happened.

First time stopping by here on my way to the freeway after work! It was great! The owner or attendant was really nice! He asked if i needed help when I was using the machine, and later, i asked him if he could change some change into a dollar because I didn't have quarters for the machine, so i can vacuum.The machines take cards, but not the vacuum ones. $ 2 BUCKS FOR THE VACUUM!!! GREAT DEAL! I didn't get the gentleman's name who was working there. But, if he reads this, thank you for ur excellent customer service ! Will be a regular now ! 😉

The place is really clean and was pretty empty (which is great) when I went there at 6pm on August 1st. My only criticism is that there were out of Tire Cleaner and the Air Dryers don't have that much pressure so it took a long time to dry my car

Best self service spot I've been too in the south bay, I got lucky when the owner/manager happened to be outside and offered to guide me through the wash process and multiple options they offered including wax, tire dressing and spot free rinse plus more. Pressures from the nozzles enough to blow you away to leave at least a 4 star review. Don't hesitate.

Best self service car wash I've ever been to, seen, or heard of in my life! All the bays have new equipment, including air blowers to dry the car off, and the soaps/waxes/etc are fast to purge through the sprayer. They keep the facility clean and working great, it's in a good/safe area, and they have really optimized every part of the self service car wash experience. I'll be back!

Formerly "$1 Lomita Car Wash" - this place is now under new management. The son took over (the older gentleman who lived in the GMC motorhome has sadly passed) painted the exterior, and is slowly improving the business. The wash times have been reduced to 2 mins per $1 (used to be 3 mins per $1) but they are trying to make up for it with improved equipment (new wash selections, new pressure guns, new brushes, etc.) and badly needed repairs. Have been coming to this place since 2016, have never had a problem with machines eating money or anything. I highly recommend visiting early in the morning or during daylight, at night this place is a bit dark & sketch... there's still room for improvement, but bottom line, Lomita Car Wash is still a good value for your dollar.

Where do I begin. This car wash exceeds my expectations when providing the necessary wash my car needs. Great products are utilized, nozzle pressure is suberp, tire cleaner does the job, and the air dry blower feels like a hurricane. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The manager himself is very kind and knowledgeable about his craft. He also provides a smog station! I definitely recommend this self car wash station for any car enthusiasts, truck owners, and people that use their car to get to point A to point B!

They need to remove the picture showing $3 = 5mins carwash, it's $4.00. They also put hold for $25 on your card and it doesn't clear for a week.

So upset. I use to love this car wash. I pass several car washes to get here. However today I decided to time my process because last time I swear it didn’t give me the full time I paid for. And today confirmed. I paid for 10 minutes $8 and only got 7 minutes 40 seconds. So disappointing and I’m not going to pay an extra $1 just to use my card. I don’t even have $25 in my account for them to put a hold on anyway 😞

Went to spray down the engine compartment and slid my card. Five minutes showed up on the meter. When I was finished still had a couple minutes to go. Got home and checked my bank… yeah 25.00 charged to my card. I mean dayum. For a coin car wash.
