Great place, the attendant check in on me regularly as I was washing my dog to make sure everything was okay. I took away 1 star because the chain to keep the dog on the wash table wasn't adjustable, and was just too long. My dog kept jumping off the side where he'd be hanging by his collar. Also the rubber aprons were not in great shape. One was missing the straps entirely. However, it's all at a great price, and provides a very valuable service.

It's okay. I have better pressure out of my garden hose then I did out of the nozzle here. I couldn't even spray bugs off my windshield. Giant waste of money.

I’ve been coming to Johnny Car Wash since it opened and have recommended it to many people. I like that it’s touch free, so there’s no risk of brushes scratching the paint. They have two automatic bays, one self wash bay, and free vacuums. The vacuums are basic, and the wash itself is a smaller bay style where you pull in and the machine moves around your car. It is not a full tunnel wash with attendants or conveyor belts. The problem is the pricing now matches the big tunnel washes that offer much more. Single washes are $10, $14, or $18, and monthly passes are $20, $28, or $36 depending on the package. For what you get, it doesn’t add up. You can get a more complete wash elsewhere for about the same price, or wash your car at home for less. I still appreciate the touch free option, but at these new rates, it’s hard to justify returning. It’s disappointing after supporting this business since it first opened.

the self wash machine wouldn't stop + continued to just charge my card. i called the phone number on site to get a refund, but the person that answered spoke no english. i finally understood that she would just take my phone number + have someone call me. they never called. "the good spray" on main st. is a better facility + has better management (the old guy there is very kind).

I used to love this car wash because they seemed like a small town Kaysville Business that I liked supporting. They used to offer a 48 hour wash guarantee and were a reasonable price. All of that has now changed. Kaysville allowed some big car washes to come in that no one wanted and now Johnny’s decided to try to be one of the big guys too, losing that small town feel. They changed their pricing and don’t offer their 48 hour guarantee, which is truly the main reason we would come there. Guess I will be washing my cars in my driveway at home from now on. So sad.

Used to be a great place for a wash because they included a free wash code if you bought the highest tier wash. My wife and I would get both our cars washed. They have since done away with the free wash code, increased their price, and are pushing for a subscription-based option. I understand every company wants to make money and that inflation will inevitably drive prices up but for these prices, I might as well go to a nicer car wash in the area.

After I canceled my monthly membership here, they charged me for 2 additional months. Management asked for proof of the charges so I submitted credit card statements. Then they stopped responding and never refunded the 2 months. I’ve reached out 4 separate times since…no response. I love supporting small and local but the wash is inferior to other nearby options and turns out the customer is also lacking.

Seemed like a clean and well-run operation, but much pricier than it used to be. Appreciated the free vacuums, but felt a little weird washing the car first then driving back into the place to vacuum. I recall car dryers used to have a timer but didn't see one this time. I'm sure I'd go again, but it won't be as often because of the high cost.

The wash is broke 50% or more of the time. The automated system is also difficult to operate; I tried to change a license plate for the same vehicle that had the membership and the automated system states “ an error has occurred”. It will not let me complete the transfer. I receive messages from the automated system about washing the wrong vehicle, which is not the case. When you go to the wash to get assistance during regular business hours 8am-3:00pm nobody is there. They have a sign that says call for assistance: no one answers. The answering machine says leave a message we will return your call, I have left 3 messages over 2-3 weeks, no return call yet. I cannot wash my car now due to the license plate, the monthly payments keep getting transacted from my account. The list goes on.

Bought app, can’t use app/membership or reset password, so I can’t cancel. Even when it worked everything is poor quality. The dog wash has low water pressure and the dryers are not effective. Very disappointing

This car wash used to be great, but ever since they switched to the new system with the app, it’s been a headache. The app simply doesn’t work, even after multiple attempts and reaching out for help. The lady I’ve spoken with has been very kind and tried to assist, but the problem never gets fixed. On top of that, they raised the price at the same time—so now I’m paying more for a worse experience. Overall, not a good value and definitely frustrating.

If you want to spend $12 in the self wash to still not have all the foam rinsed off your car this is your place. I've come here off and on for years, but the pressure in the self wash is so ridiculous that it took me over five minutes just to rinse my car off and then I still ran out of time before I was done. The new pay system is awful as well. It charges your card three dollars and you're able to add a minute, but then if you wait too long to add more time, you just have to start over and charge your card again. I had to charge my card three separate times to finish 90% of my wash.

We've been going here for years. Been patient with the numerous times the car wash has been "down". Been patient through the re-models. We've had a monthly pass on and off over the years. We finally cancelled our monthly pass 4 months ago online, we spoke to an employee about cancelling it, and they continue to take money out of our bank account each month. We've talked to employees on site and they always say they'll make sure management knows. We've emailed, texted - and were told we'd get a refund. Just got another payment taken out of our account, and no refund. With all of the car washes available in Kaysville now - you'd think they'd provide a better customer experience.

Super solid car wash, it did a great job on my truck. The attendant was very nice and the site wash very clean. I love the extra brushes and bug remover to prep the front of my truck before I head into the wash. Vacuums worked great too!

$7 for 7 minutes feels steep considering the state of their dog wash facility and equipment. Zero pressure in their water AND their dryer. I also spent half of my allotted time just using the rinser cleaning the hair from the previous user out of the tub so that I could use it. This place is mildly convenient if you’re in a pinch and can’t make it to the groomers but that’s about it.

I was very impressed with Johnny’s pet and car wash. The only thing that would’ve made this at five stars if it would’ve had an air hose to blow off the car other than that, I will definitely be coming back. Bring my pooch with me as well. He’ll love itvery clean well lit well maintained great job.

You keep saying to contact you directly, I've called FIVE times and texted. I've left my number at yhe number provided inside the pet wash. PLEASE CALL ME FOR MY REFUND ASAP! We typically use this Pet Wash often for our dogs. However, the last time we were there (12/31/25), nothing worked. My card was swiped and charged 3 times and we weren't able to use the pet wash. I've called the number located inside the pet wash THREE times and left THREE messages, no one has contacted me. I'd like a refund. I tried commenting on my prior post but the app does not allow me to. I called again (FOURTH TIME) and also texted. 3 transactions on 12/31/25 for a total of $21. Please refund!

I happily give 5 stars to Johnny’s Pet and Car Wash!!! I really appreciate the great people who work there. I had an issue with my monthly billing and Cameron and Dustin were incredibly kind and helpful in resolving it. They both went ‘above and beyond’ to make things right and were generous with their time and support. I highly recommend this car wash!! There are plenty of choices in Kaysville for car washes but I want to support this car wash! I love that they are open 24 hours!! Thank you to these good people. They make the world a better place!
