I had a great experience at Jax Kar Wash – Brighton. The service was excellent and very welcoming from start to finish. I was driving up north and needed to make a quick stop, and this was an easy place to do it. The staff were friendly, efficient, and did a great job with my car. I was very pleased with the overall experience.

Over all the quality of the wash is great. The assistants are always friendly and courteous. The only thing I wished worked better is the license plate camera does not fully pick up my handicap plate.

Pros-Good price if you can go through multiple times per week. Better than getting soaked at a coin car wash. Cons-You get slammed through but I guess that is their business model. They have to account for the person who goes through every day versus someone like me who is only near their location maybe three times a month. My truck comes out dirty every time. Misses back window, wheels, running boards, under door handles, bumper and around license plate. I wish they would account for how many times people have went through that month. Overall, not bad. Three car washes would cost me at least $30 and I’m paying $25 per month so I guess I’m getting what I pay for

Excellent car wash the monthly auto plan is great. There are 4 locations all around me which is very convenient . My car is always sparkling from underneath to the exterior. My plan is the best plan. If I go twice a month it pays for itself. However I go more often in the winter to get the salt off my undercarriage and body.

Jax in Brighton is the best tunnel car wash I've seen yet.I'm guessing some of the equipment is Motor City Washworks equipment. It is a long tunnel with a lot of nice equipment. It even gets between the running boards and rocker panels on my truck where most washes leave dirt behind in that area.

I really like this car wash because it’s right off the freeway as I’m going that way through the Brighton area, although I live out in Pinckney. My only complaint is the drying roller at the very end of the wash that rolls over the windshield. it always leaves slight vertical streaking, which is really noticed the next day. This happens every time. Because I drive a new Ford Ranger There is a tendency for that roller to also catch my right windshield wiper which it destroyed one time. The car wash was amazing, they reimbursed me for a new wiper of my choice. Overall, tremendous wash and very positive people at this car wash compared to others I have been at. Definitely deserves a five star rating overall.

Fast and really good service. I enjoy the convenience of the membership that they offer. The interior vacuums are amazing and free. It’s awesome that I can make one stop and in few minutes I drive away with a clean inside and out vehicle.

I purchased a 1 month membership for 16 dollars which is basic wash + underbody flush. I did not see the underbody light comes on so not sure it was even flushed. My car was not as clean as it should be as I see a lot of dirty on the front and back as well as windows.

On 1-23-26, I was very impressed that the car wash employees (that spray) got under the wheel wells. I have got my car wash at many places in the past, and every other place NEVER took the time to get under the wheel wells and all the hard to reach places. This car wash did it without even asking. These workers did a great job! Usually I need to get all the hard spots myself after I go through the drive-through car wash, but not here. This is everything a full service car wash should entail, but rarely does

I can’t say enough good things about Jax Car Wash. The quality of the automatic car wash is excellent — my vehicle comes out consistently clean, shiny, and well cared for every time. What really sets Jax apart, though, is the people. The staff is incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely pleasant to interact with. The team members who hand-dry the car at the end are especially wonderful — always friendly, attentive, and clearly take pride in what they do. The vacuums are another big plus. They’re powerful and actually do a great job cleaning the interior, which makes the whole experience efficient and satisfying from start to finish. Great service, great people, and a great wash — Jax Car Wash has earned my loyalty!

I’ve been an unlimited member for almost a year. The employees are always so friendly and the wash is great. The past month the car wash has been closed numerous times to the point I am unable to use my membership. After approaching the manager one of the times the wash closed down while in line I was treated extremely poorly for asking for some compensation for the lack of reliability. This is no way to treat the customer. I left my name and number for corporate to contact me and never heard anything. I would recommend looking elsewhere if you want a company that values their customers instead of blaming them for their own failures.

The first time that I came here with gentlemen, I believe Alex before the helpful. However, I experienced racism and biased. The third time I came here. For some reason, my license plate was not reading as I had previously purchased the unlimited pass on the 30th of the month prior. I had pressed the Help button and a blonde woman had stated that I did not have a pass. As a courtesy, I pulled up the email and asked her to confirm that this was their email service explaining I’d already been here prior and I have no issue. She then walked away and took 15 minutes to allow me access. I watched multiple cars past me even buying memberships. She was more concerned to help white employees as opposed to helping a member. I would not just say that this is a flaw, but this is quite imperative to the process of moving forward within the community. I am unsure what this woman’s name was because she wouldn’t tell me, however I am mortified completely mortified. I would like a refund as having a membership pass. Here is not something that I standby Northfield comfortable having and every single person who had passed me it just insinuated deeper and deeper that this was not a one off mistake. This was an intentional biased as her urgency for white customers was quite clear. I doubt any kind of disciplinary act will be taken towards her however, there was no compensation for my time not even as simple as an apology for the error. At this point, I’m past that.

There are very friendly professional. They keep things moving, very helpful. There can be ten cars there when I pull up and i've never sat longer than ten minutes. Now people, there are very hard-working. They do a great job. I would recommend them to anyone well worth the money.

I went to the Brighton Michigan car wash the young lady suggested the monthly deal which was really a great idea I found her conversation with me was informative and a great money deal so I go get my car washed at least once a week or two times a week for the price if a single car wash. I'm 100% satisfied thanks for a great friendly employee. Give that girl a big fat raise!!

Not sure what their hours are but last month I Tried to get a car wash Three different days I was there at 6:30 and they were closed . Many other locations you get a dash cloth. I really wish the back of the vehicle would Power wash better because the car wash itself never seems to get the back very well. The price is reasonable if they’re gonna be open when I get to that side of town

10/10 Logan gave an amazing breakdown of the different monthly plans. Spent the time explaining the benefits of each & had provided me with a complementary car wash. I have yet to experience such kind, informative, & consistent care. It was 4 degrees and he spent 15 minutes assisting me through the process. I will be coming back! First time at Jax in Brighton. I joined the Unlimited Club. Top notch experience from start to finish. There is a license plate reader that recognizes you when you pull up to the gate, you tap a couple of choices on the selection screen and you are set to get your vehicle washed. Very cool. They were quite busy on a bright sunny day in February and I was pleasantly surprised at how fast it was. Excellent wash job on the vehicle too. A “State of the art” car wash.

I’ve been through many times and they are good enough to warrant my fifteen minutes here. They do a Very Good job on low to the ground cars. I have wider than most wheels, almost ten inches of tread, so they also handle wide tires. I see a lot of big trucks going through too. My 2017 50TH Anniversary special Camaro RS has the optional 4 piston high performance red Brembo brakes with slotted rotors. They stop well before a dime, last 70k miles before replacement but generate A LOT of break dust! When I signed up for reoccurring monthly membership I was hesitant, discussed the Brembo issue but I was told not to worry… a minute later they seemed sincere when saying “We’ll take care of you”, and so I was all in. I’ve talked with many Employees, all are friendly, wanting to help and do it with a smile. You don’t see that much today… I often mention my front wheels going in and the entry crew sets me up and my expensive wheels and RED Brembos started looking great after two washes. Going whenever you want, in my case any little rain, snow or salt or once a week makes my car look its best and makes it nicely economical. Don’t worry, there’s almost always A LINE, six or eight in two rows, I’ve seen cars stopped on Lee because the car ahead just can’t even get onto the lot! But the line almost always GOES FAST! The line kept me away for too long and that was a mistake. I’ll verify the Spot Free rinse IS spot free; I’ve noticed spots in the Sunroof from other places. Started coming here Summer 2025, joined the club in January. Ongoing subscription members

[Original Post: 1/11/2026]. Several new scratches on my car, will not be back for another service on my vehicles. You can actually see where the people scrubbing used the corners of their brushes and gouged my paint. It is critical the owner recognizes I am NOT blaming them, solely. I suspect the machine is the culprit for some of the isolated peppering damage. Also note that nothing else should have been moving on the x-axis, or with anything hard enough to cause the type of damage I'm seeing on my hood. Granted, its older and paint is not on the best condition. However, these spots i am highlighting are unmistakably fresh, down to shiny metal in some spots. More than basic wear, and some of the angles/gouges are impossible for just driving. This is exactly why I have avoided these types of car washes. I will 1000% advocate for the touchless ones over these from now on. One and done for me. UPDATE: Im putting this post back up because I noticed they don't have the brushes anymore as of today, quite strange. (1/12/2026) it seems like their resolution for my issue is to ignore me and just keep farming the general public, while destroying peoples property. 1/28/26 Management claims they only use power washers and haven't used hand tools in two years. However, I observed manual prep work being performed with hand-held equipment. This is consistent with 8 other reviews from the last two years mentioning 'hand brushing' or 'scrubbing' at this location. Unfortunately, my vehicle sustained peppering and gouging damage that was not there prior to the wash. Damage is comparable with other peoples reviews citing similar issues. Management did not bother to address anything about the possibility of the lack of machine maintenance potentially being a culprit. He focused solely on his claim of hand brushes never being used, part. He stated I called him a liar, and told me he had video evidence as though i was looking to get anything out of him. I want to be clear, I never asked for anything, im simply reporting my dissatisfaction and experience. I do not want a refund, I have canceled my plan. I just want the service to improve. it would be a bonus to not be treated as a combatant, and instead be treated as a customer. I don't believe I was rude, but feel I was treated rudely. 1/28/2026 [Update after call with corporate office] Bumped up to 2 stars for the excellent customer service experience with Howard at corporate HQ.
