Justin the on-site tech took good care of us again. I paid for much of my college education working at the car wash in the 70s, and I understand that’s what Justin is doing. There is more to going to the car wash than just getting a sparkling clean car. Stop by and get a membership at Hurricane, it’s a good thing to do for many reasons. And my car came out clean again. I really like using the airgun to blow the dust off my dash and controls. It’s an added feature that makes a difference.

The actual wash that my car receives is fair and the price I pay is a good bit higher than what I would pay at other car washes in the area by about 20$ a month . Nice friendly staff and clean detailing stations

Honestly, I was surprised by how good the wash was at Hurricane Car Wash, especially for the price. It just gets the job done well. But what really made me a fan were the genuinely free extras. I could actually take my time vacuuming out all the crumbs (which is a major win for me!), and then pump up my tires without having to hunt for a separate air machine. They even had free window cleaner and towels available – a nice touch for that final sparkle. For the low cost of the wash, getting access to all that for free feels like a steal. If you're looking for an affordable and convenient way to keep your car clean, this place is definitely worth checking out.

Best car wash around! They have powerful vacuums, offer air fresheners and cleaners, and have friendly staff. Hurricane car wash offers different levels of car washes, and prices to fit anyone’s budget. They are very clean and well lit so you can see to get the job done. Highly recommend!

Its the consistency for me... or lack there of. The owner is a really nice guy I used to cut his hair. Haven't seen him in a while. I've been coming to this location for a very long time. When I first started coming to this location I had very few complaints. That being said the quality over the last year+ has significantly dropped. I pay for the top membership and I only come through a couple times a month they regularly do not scrub my windshield or back window anymore. I even leaned out of my car to say something about them not scrubbing my windshield and the guy just waved me on. Very dissatisfied if something doesn't change I will be canceling my membership. Also I can't even call to make a complaint because their phone automatically hangs up.

We have been coming to this place since it has opened. It has far surpassed our expectations for a drive thru car wash. Our vehicles always look show room quality when we leave. The services far exceed the cost. The staff is always friendly and helpful and they sit out in the elements all day.

I've given this car wash so many chances. Every single time I'm disappointed. I've only come back because it's in a convenient location. Today I bought the most expensive car wash (5+) because I knew I had sand in my wheel wells, fresh from today and still wet. This includes the "mega storm prep". Every time I've been with someone else in a different vehicle they spray the entire vehicle and get inside wheel wells. Every time I've taken my own vehicle they never do this. I don't know why this is, they do it to me in my personal vehicle and my work truck. Today they hardly prepped. They quickly wiped my windshield and back window, did a small spray of the bug removal and that's it. After the car wash I stopped and looked at the cleanliness. The wheel wells were hardly cleaned and the rest still wasn't great. I asked the employees why they didn't spray it, I was told I have to specifically request they spray my vehicle and my wheels/wheel wells. Apparently it is company policy they do not spray vehicles wheels/wheel wells unless requested?? According to these employees. I've seen this happen numerous times without request. They offered to run my vehicle back through, I accepted. These pictures were taken after the second time of going through. As you can see there is still a lot of wet sand and the rest of the vehicle is not clean either. I didn't feel like arguing or wasting even more of my time to run through the car wash for a third time. Furthermore, be cautious because this place has left micro scratches all over my vehicle as well as two huge deep scratches, see picture. Overall, I do not recommend this car wash at all. All the employees are very lazy and push cars through as quick as possible so they can go back into the office and hangout with girls who are not working?? Today was the first time I've said something, but the reaction I got back is what made me make this review. I used to pay for a membership but cancelled because of this exact lazy behavior. If you think your job is too much work or too demanding then find a new job. Don't be stealing customers money because you feel entitled.

I had a membership with them for almost a year and had to cancel it because of a rude interaction. We pulled up to the vacuums which we always do first before washing the car, and we were greeted by an employee who questioned us about using the free vacuums and said our car was very dirty, and the vacuums are only for paying customers. He didn’t even verify if I had a membership or not! Maybe a scanner for the vacuums with those who ACTUAL have memberships would be great this way interactions like this would NOT happen.

My Hurricane Express Car Wash experience, 01/06/26 It was a cool Tuesday morning and my vehicle was in desperate need of a good vacuum. So I decided to go to Hurricane Express Wash on 3112 Augusta Road. I parked my car right across from the complimentary free car mat washer because those mats too needed much T.L.C. As I’m removing things outta my car I noticed a guy looking towards my way from time to time. Everything was out and I was ready to start cleaning and vacuuming, that’s when the same guy came over asking was I a member because new rules enforced that the free vacuum is only for members due to people overly using it but not spending money to wash cars. Plus, the actual members had no room to vacuum their cars. When I told him I wasn’t a member he was very pleasant, kind and resourceful. He allowed me to use the free vacuum that one time because I was unaware of the new rule but also informed me that I would have to be a member for any future visits concerning the free vacuum. He even told me about their car wash promotion , four weeks any car once a day car wash for only $18. He was like , you can wash your car today then bring your mom’s car tomorrow. I don’t know how he knew but the mom part sold me because taking care of my mom is one of my priorities. So I did it, he convinced me to get the membership. He was very professional, knowledgeable about the business and patient with me(I’m from up north so I almost liked to talk his head off) while still being attentive to his job and the needs of others. Who is he you ask?, well he is Steven and he definitely plays a major role in my great Hurricane Express Wash experience. Thank you for taking the time to read my review, you are greatly appreciated!!
