On May 20, 2023 at 10am I brought in my 2020 Lincoln Aviator to Hopewell Valley Car Wash in Pennington, NJ for "Full Detail". I have paid $355.86 in advance for the service, including a $20 tip. I came with my wife to pick up the vehicle at 1PM. On the drive home my wife called me from the vehicle and reported that there is a strange wind noise from the driver's door. Upon inspection the driver's door top right corner was found bent outward creating a sizable gap that allowed wind and rain to enter the inside of the vehicle. (See photos) There was also a half inch horizontal scratch in the upper right corner of the door. We immediately turned around and returned to the car wash reporting the damage. The supervisor named Carlos and an attendant named Miguel were the only employees present. They admitted that the vehicle was damaged but claimed that they have no knowledge of how the damage occurred. I was given a Customer Complaint Report to fill in. Supervisor Carlos was not well versed with customer service complaint resolution and could not provide adequate information on the process for rectifying this situation. As such we requested to speak to the owner of the business who was not on the premises. When the owner arrived he did not dispute the damage and offered to take possession of the vehicle for a few days with the purpose of repairing it. I was not comfortable with giving him the vehicle since the business was not straightforward and transparent in determining the cause of the damage. It took 10 days for the owner, Dominic Paranzino to review the surveillance tapes to determine the cause of the damage. In a phone conversation on May 30, 2023 at 1:29pm EDT Mr. Peranzino stated that his employee Miguel has locked the keys inside my vehicle. He then used an "airbag" device to pry open the driver's door in an attempt to unlock it and gain access to the vehicle causing the door go off the hinges and scratching it. The owner refused a refund for the detail and repair, and offered 5 free car washes instead. I filed a complaint with the Better Bussiness Bureau in hopes of resolving the case. The owner refused to respond to the BBB. Use at your own risk.

I won’t be going back. I got the Ultimate wash with the extra ceramic coat, wasn’t worth the price. It fell short of my expectations. I had to vacuum my car and wipe down the interior when I got home.

Good job with cleaning vehicles but prices for individual washes and monthly subscriptions are, in my opinion,too high. As a side business, they sell music LPs, cds and cassettes and lower value guitars, acoustic and electric, and small amps in the waiting area. They sell coupon books which give you a better price without committing to a subscription.

They clean and shine your car fast and at a reasonable price. Very nice people. And: if you're a local, consider purchasing a package of five or ten washes --- I did! It's a very good deal. Today, some guy at the checkin tried to sell me an "extra" to remove a scratch on the door for $65! I refused because I didn't think it was a scratch, and guess what? The plain old car wash removed the so-called "scratch." So, be aware of "upselling" of unnecessary services.

This is the most spectacular car wash ever! There is a record store inside with all my favorite artists! The owner and all the staff are delightful and all smiles and good energy! I got interior super clean for 60 and the wash for 20. After they were done I went over to the car and had to ask them to reclean the windows, the car was far from clean but I chalked it up to a bad experience and just wouldn’t go back. As I was pulling away my passenger seat belt alarm was going off. I went back and was explaining what happened and the tech was clueless. So out comes what I thought was a manager. He drove around. Played with some of the seats and then said I don’t know take it to a mechanic. I said are you going to pay for that. He said “ maybe”. I asked for the owner he kept repeating “that’s irrelevant”. When I asked for a refund he said no and started walking away. I said fine I will contact the BBB and leave a review of my experience. He told me that I was ruining his business. He said why don’t you call the police and file a report. Which I did. When the police came they said a report would be filed. At this point the man( who actually turned to be the owner, police told me that), he handed me a report with numerous false statements and walked away. The owner tried to be threatening and intimidating but he was not. Save your money and find a real car wash. Response to owner. That is a very different answer to my review than the first one you posted. As you can see the car was not only damaged it is not cleaned.

I had my car dropped off for a paint correction and was absolutely blown away by the amount of detail that was put into the work. I can’t see a single scratch as this car was outside for 3+ years weathered With acid rain marks and swirl marks.. Talk about the inside they go through every inch and crack to make sure it is spotless and clean like it’s never been before! I would recommend them 10,000%. They are one of the top detailing companies in the central New Jersey area as I have used many detailers before that lack the attention to detail. They are very fair with pricing, especially for the quality That they provide is phenomenal and top-tier!

Was gonna go to valet auto wash but it was closed and my car was filthy. So I went to the Hopewell Car Wash. I didn’t have very high expectations to start. I went into the car wash. post car wash I noticed that my car kept applying the breaks. Turns out that moisture from the car wash got in my brake sensor and now I have to pay $1400 to get it repaired. moral of the story use valet auto wash and DO NOT COME HERE.

The very same day Dominic emailed me and offered to make it right. That is amazing service and the result is equally amazing. See pics below. Thanks, Dominic! $40 later and my wheels are still filthy. That’s pretty lame. I’ll be happy to follow up with you because I came home to try and clean the wheels myself and whatever you spray on them going through the wash has now etched the dirt onto the finish and I can’t get it off.

A car wash, is a car wash , is a car wash, right?! That is unless you have happened upon Dominic and his awesome staff at Hopewell Valley Car Wash. Just genuine, incredible attitudes and service with a smile! Who cares if your car isn't 1 million percent perfect... it's a several minute tunnel car wash and not a concour $3K rotisserie detail. Whiners, get over yourselves! The level of fun this crew puts into each encounter is reminiscent of a nicer old school time from long ago! Attitude is everything! And in my experience, these folks have the right attitude with a huge splash of FUN! Thanks Dominic and crew!

We came for the first time for the CLEAN & SCREAM Halloween car wash... It was superb! The actors all stayed in character. Awesome scares. If you CHOOSE, you can have your windows down and car unlocked as you wait in line for the car wash and allow it to be a more immersive and scary experience. Or you can choose to keep the doors locked - customer choice. Our group had a fantastic time and will absolutely be back! From the Art Clown, Chucky, Michael Myers and more... Great decorations, haunting music and sounds and yes a cleaned car. You even got to get out post car wash and walk the decorations and meet the Ghostbusters of NJ. Fabulous time from start to finish.
