So unprofessional. The younger African American lady I dealt with was so rude. Told me the only vehicle available was an upgrade even though there were other vehicles available. It was like she was forcing me to upgrade my vehicle for a high charge. The business practice is very unprofessional and she refused to give me her name when I called and asked for it. Not mention she told me to go to enterprise if I couldn’t afford the upgrade. Never heard of a business telling me to go spend my money with another company instead of theirs. So disappointed.

Had a wonderful experience at this Hertz location. I travel frequently and have experienced a lot of issues with other locations. This was by far the most welcoming and stress free rental process I have had at any car rental agency to date. Deborah made this trip such an easy and fast process. It is always nice to be helped by someone who cares about their job and the people they are helping. Deborah and the Vallejo Hertz team were awesome. A++ customer service.

Terrible service. Booked a car online, when I arrived there was no car for me and they offered me a expensive one. Also, I had to call to cancel it because they said they could not cancel it.

Khalil at the Vallejo office provided exceptional service. During the rental process, he answered my questions and politely updated me on new policies that were amended regarding deposits. He also was attentive to my wife when i brought her back to pick up the vehicle. He spotted us on the lot and came out and offered his assistance. It easy a newer vehicle and my wife was not familiar with all the functions.Thank you for being a professional. Hope everyone else in the office follows Khalil's lead.

Rented a car last week from the 15th to the 17th of August. I reserved an economy car and reserved 60 per day and noticed I was charged 80 per day for a Chevy Malibu. They must not have had a smaller car, but I didn’t request an upgrade. So that’s one thing. Then as I am getting ready to board my plane from San Fransisco back home on August 19th, 2 days after I dropped off the car in person, I get a call from Hertz saying I had not returned the car, then they called 2 other times. I contacted corporate and found out the contract had not been closed. So neither of those situations are cool. Corporate is supposed to give me a refund and they had someone check in the car properly on the date I had returned it.

Try another car rental company in Vallejo. I had a reservation that they could not honor. I called a few days before to confirm, and everything seemed fine. They asked me to pay the difference for their last vehicle, which cost more in terms of daily price and gas once I arrived.

It is not located on Sonoma Blvd., it hasn’t been for a long time. It also shows a new location on Redwood St., but not there - see the photo of the empty building. Last known location was the lobby of Courtyard Marriott on Fairgrounds. Said they were moving a long time ago to a permanent location.

I had the best experience with hertz and Kahlil #5. He helped me get into a vehicle so I could make it to a very important meeting. He made my experience and very seamless, pleasant, and amazing experience! I will recommend this Hertz to my friends and family for any car rental needs. And I most definitely will be using hertz services again because Kahlil was just so helpful and represented the company hertz how any company would hope an employee would! He went above and beyond! Horrible place to rent from. Made a reservation on the phone to pick up on a Saturday from Napa. Upon picking up, the Hertz in Napa is closed on weekends. Why am I able to make a reservation for a day when they are closed? It took 20 minutes for customer service to pick up. They had me drive to Vallejo to pick up, but at a higher rate. I should not have to pay more if it is not my error! Then the Vallejo location had no notification that I was coming, so they did not have our vehicle available. How are you able to modify my reservation for a car that is not available? We ended up having to upgrade for another $80! Again, why am I having to pay extra for YOUR mistake? I will NEVER rent from Hertz again! Do NOT recommend!

Typically, I've had positive experiences at this location but not today. I reserved a car for pickup on Saturday 6/28 @ 9am. Received an email confirmation as well of my reservation. I show up and the young lady tells me she doesn't have a reservation for me and they were overbooked, so there aren't any cars available. I provided her with my confirmation number and she says she doesn't have a reservation for me, but I can come back at 11 and see if they have any cars. I go home, call customer service and tell them what happened. He tells me my reservation doesn't exist because it was cancelled at 9:03am this morning, which happened to be the same time I was at the Hertz desk and provided the young lady with my confirmation # which she said she couldn't find. I don't believe reservations cancel themselves and I certainly didn't cancel it, so come to your own conclusions how my reservation mysteriously disappeared. To make this situation right, the customer service agent was able to secure me a vehicle to be picked up at SFO for the same duration and ridiculously cheaper than I would have paid at the neighborhood location. Props to you Lewis who went above and beyond to make this situation right and shame on you to the aspiring magician at the Vallejo location this morning.

I recently had a disappointing experience with Hertz. As a semi-truck driver, I found myself in need of a rental car when my truck broke down. I walked a mile and a half to their location, only to be told that my reservation wasn’t valid because it wasn’t made 24 hours in advance. Despite having a confirmed reservation, they offered me an SUV at an additional cost of $100 per week.

I made a reservation to pickup a vehicle several days in advance, I needed a truck. Upon arriving at the building I was told that not only did they not have my vehicle, they didn't know why they didn't have it. In the time it took to have this conversation the pickup time of 12:00 had passed so the agent couldn't even cancel my reservation and offered no further help and so I was directed to talk to an AI voice who would on repeat information and would hang up the call everytime it tried to connect me with a real human. I cannot recommend using their service in the future.
