I watched them completely embarrass a young woman by calling the cops on her trying to say she was stealing but when they checked her bag and her they found nothing from their store. She was not concealing anything and instead of an apology they had the cops give her a no trespassing notification stating she was not welcomed their anymore. I was completely disgusted by HARBOR FREIGHT shame on them

[edit] I've become rather frustrated with the Yuba City store never having things in stock that I need. Maybe it's just too popular a store but you would think that month after month of going in and never finding what I need isn't so much a matter of popularity as of poor management. I'm serious. Just about anything I need on any given day, I can go into this store and they won't have it. The isle shelf will be empty. Almost anything I need at random. Maybe if you get there on the day their truck arrives? Who knows. All I do know for sure is that I can't rely on this store in a pinch. [original] A good place to get cheap tools but don't expect them to last. Sometimes cheap is fine but many items don't hold up to casual use. There's a hidden cost for buying cheap. I prefer the better quality (and not necessarily more expensive) tools at Home Depot and Lowe's, which are always in stock.

My go-to-place for tools and accessories. Some tools are kind of cheaply made but for the most part most work pretty well. I just purchased a gigantic 72inch long toolbox for a fantastic price! In my opinion it will work perfectly for my needs and compared to the price of large toolboxes on tool trucks like Snap-on or Matco I saved thousands of dollars. Lana was my cashier and she is very friendly and efficient and informative. I recommend this store!

Drove across town (past home depot & lowes) for them to be "closed" waited a while but nobody inside "cleaning" thanks for wasting my time and gas.

Husband called in advanced to ask if a specific item was in stock. They confirmed it twice with him before he drove an hour and a half to pick it up. It was not in stock. Total waste of time and gas.

I bought an item here and of course I got a receipt. I was told in order to get a refund I had to give them my name, phone #, etc. A receipt with my cc payment on it should suffice. If you want to get a refund you will need to be prepared to give them your personal information. Very poor. Avoid if possible. I have never had a store refuse a refund (on a refundable item) with a receipt.

Much cheaper than those other guys . Quality tools, friendly staff. My only complaints are that the checkout lines take forever . They have like 2 people ringing up a line that's about 20+ customers long . It would be great if they put in a self check out for people who don't have an hour to kill standing in line or at least opened up the other two registers when the store is packed full of bargain hunters during the "parking lot sale" that is not even in the parking lot. But all in all, I love this store. ( I save hundreds of $ here)

The harbor freight in yuba the take warranty on tools after few months they delete whole transaction and asking Reciept from customer and they are scamming people it is very frustrating buyers please be aware of these scammers . Cashier name : hanna and Michael was cashier

This was my first time to the store. HF has lots of stuff even automotive stuff! However, no employee greeted me or asked if I needed help finding anything. HF needs to work on customer service. Checking out was a little slow and the cashier wasn't real friendly. I found what I needed and then some. Great store, great prices, not so great customer service.

Would not recommend to other people. The older cashier (Lana) is always so rude. When you don't give your phone number she gets even worse. Literally turns her back on costumers. She does not seem to have any costumers service training at all. The only thing going for this stores is the tools but honestly if their employees act like this the tools may not be worth it.

I got a 3/4" drive ratchet that is nearly 4' long and managed to break it in one day, removing lug nuts on a bus. Also a 3/4" drive ratchet&breaker bar socket set. Broke the breaker bar, and extension also💪☹️. When I exchanged them the next day the manager asked how it broke I told him removing lug nuts... He said it was not designed for that????🤔😐, And if they broke again, he wouldn't exchange them LOl. You can take apart a bulldozer with a 3/4.Inch drive socket set... But not a lugnut???? At least they exchanged it🙂

We went to buy some stuff we needed for our family van. The place was so clean, organized and the prices were in its place (the proper tags for each item I mean). They had lots of on sale items that come very handy at home. My girls love to explore these kind of stores because they ask about everything they see to their dad. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Great shopping experience and recommended 100%.

Harbor freight is a great store I 've in their other store aside from here in yuba. Theirs is a big difference. In yuba city you cannot avoid the feeling of fairness in cutomers service since im a brown the discremination is there. Im a very observant person so i felt it. And in other places whenever they have the free staff they always offer it or give it to you. Here in Yuba City not even onetime.
