Their customer service is unparalled, and they were efficient and thorough in figuring out my car's problem, installing a new alternator and then retesting the car. They even offered me a ride to and from another location, so I wouldn't waste my time waiting for my car. It is a family-owned shop, and everyone was happy and very helpful.

This place is an absolute gem. I was having some serious issues with my car and, being new in town, I had no idea who I could trust with my vehicle. Based on the other reviews here, I decided to go with Green Machine. Not only did they take my car within the hour that I called them, but they were quick to diagnose the main issues and did proper testing before fixing anything to make sure I wasn't paying for anything I didn't need. Everyone at the shop was so friendly and respectful. I never got the sense that I was being talked down to or taken advantage of. They thoroughly explained how the various systems worked to be so that I could better understand how to take care of my car in the future. These guys hold themselves to an extremely high standard of competency and integrity. Their pricing is fair and you'll only get the services you need. I will only be using them from now on. Update: I still come here two years later and am just as happy with the service I receive as I was when I first wrote this review.

Very pleasant and professional interaction over the phone as well as in person. They were able to fit me in for an oil change and tire rotation, which was completed in about an hour. I walked to a nearby cafe and had a light breakfast while I waited for a text notification that the service was complete. They kindly addressed the questions I had and informed me of upcoming maintenance needs.

Great service for a great price. Called up this place cause they appeared on Google and I had a hole in my tire. They patched it up on the spot for only 20 dollars and ordered me a new tire. With the new tire + service + patch only cost me 150 and when I came to put the tire on only took five minutes without an appointment.

I had a full engine replacement done at Green Machine and am pretty satisfied with the result. I just got the vehicle back today (04/29/24), but it seems to all be working fine and there are no codes being thrown. If something comes up I will update here. Overall customer service of the shop was amazing. Ernesto is very nice and willing to explain everything that is going on and will immediately let you know if anything else arises that needs attention. The price is about as good as you could hope for. It is a fair, honest price for honest work. There was never a time where I felt like I was being ripped off or taken advantage of. In my case the total cost still came out to be about $2000 less than what the dealership quoted me for an engine replacement. If you are contemplating whether or not to go to Green Machine, I recommend that you do. They are more than capable of jobs both big and small and will be honest with you about it.

We are a one car family and after my husband and I got off work (4PM) he realized we had something metal that punctured our tire and we were quickly losing tire pressure. We called three shops and went to one but we couldn’t get it fixed anywhere. Green machine didn’t answer so we were just assuming we would have to figure it out, but the gentleman from green machine actually called me back (I didn’t leave a message!) and they got us in right away. We had a BLADE in the tire 😬. They gave us two options, and were the cheapest I’ve ever paid for a tire patch (I may or may not have patched maaaany many tires which has led to quite the knowledge in tire patching prices through out the county). Super great, super kind to our very bored 7 year old who had no choice but to go with us. Definitely will be back, probably for another patched tire knowing my luck.

We came in to Green Machine Automotive on a Saturday when most other auto shops in the area are closed. I had just made a drive across the country and my car definitely needed speedy service. They were extremely accommodating and unbelievably fast, and the service came with a warranty. Something that also stood out to me was their kind and welcoming demeanor and professionalism. The cherry on top was the price; the entire service and labor fee was extremely affordable in comparison to local competitors. I would recommend Green Machine Automotive to anyone in the vicinity in need of car service!

I had an exceptional experience at Sabino’s Auto Shop in Seaside. After dealing with ongoing engine issues and multiple check engine codes, I brought my vehicle in for diagnostics. Within just two hours, Sabino accurately identified and fixed the problems—a thermostat that wasn’t opening properly and a faulty oxygen sensor. What truly set this shop apart was the honesty, efficiency, and affordability of the service. Sabino is not only highly skilled but also incredibly genuine and trustworthy—qualities that are hard to come by in this industry. Before coming here, I had taken my car to three other shops in Monterey and Seaside, all of which recommended unnecessary repairs that had nothing to do with the actual issue. The reason why I give them a 5 star rate is because the customer service was on point. Sabino, Ernesto, Brandon are very helpful people. They explain and show you what’s wrong with your car. I took my 2007 Bmw 335i to get it diagnosed and it turned out to be my transmission and Ernesto found me a used transmission with warranty that same day. I would recommend everyone to swing by and get your car fixed at Green Machine.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. It was recommended to me by Auto Zone after a complimentary read of my check engine light codes. They got me in quickly when my car broke down and was honest with me when it became obvious the repairs necessary would exceed the value of the car. After replacing the part believed to be the problem, it was determined there must be a leak somewhere in the engine that would increase the repair cost $2-3,000. It was a 2009 with 175,000 miles on it. Not worth the investment. They put her all back together again and only charged me the original diagnostic fee even though they'd worked on her for hours. Appreciated their honesty and not making a bad situation worse.

The best experience I’ve had with a mechanic, period. I was on a road trip with my family from Utah to California when my car started making funny noises and the battery indicator light came on while in Seaside. This happened at the end of the day on December 23rd. I was starting to get nervous no one would be able to look at my car until after Christmas, stranding us in California. Andre very kindly took the time to diagnosis the problem (needed to replace my water pump) and helped us out that very same day. Him and his wife’s time and kindness meant the world to my family and I am so deeply appreciative of it. He got my car all squared away and I made it safely back to Utah with no problems whatsoever. This is the mechanic to go to, hands down.

I was very pleased with the service I received. I initially called to check on service for my electric vehicle and had left a message. They responded quickly and offered service for diagnosis. They were very welcoming and friendly, and honest with the expectation and service they'd be able to provide. They communicated the things that needed attention and explained everything in detail. It turned out that the diagnosis was not apparent for the issue my very old EV was having, but the things they determined as a potential issue helped and so far it took care of the issue.

My 2004 LS430’s radiator broke down on the freeway on my drive back home to SF from Monterey on a Saturday morning which was a really stressful experience. These guys were the only ones around and available to service my car on a whim. I didnt catch his name but the guy at the front desk was very polite and helpful. Him and his team were quick to follow up with a clear diagnosis and estimate. My car was ready for pick up in three hours. The price was right and service was on point. They came through clutch! God bless everyone involved with this shop! if youre in the area, I highly recommend paying them a visit. Superb service, 5/5 stars.
