This is a very clean, well staffed, and well maintained car wash. Sadly they don't spray the back of your car anymore 😕. Also the blow dryers do not dry the back of SUVs very well (but most washes are like that) I have had grease spread all over my car before. Even will all these complaints the people are extremely nice and the wash over all is great which makes this experience a 4 out of 5.

Recently bought the unlimited wash. Was happy until today. Long line and having obvious issues as no one went in for almost 10 min. Then when I do go in I got no water or soap and someone on a ladder inside doing maintenance while cars were going through. Had to wait again to go through and it's still barely clean. I have a minivan. It doesn't touch the back at all. If there's obvious issues why are you still running cars through? The guy at the gate was annoyed and frustrated dealing with people having to go back through and snapped at me when I asked if I was gonna get soap and water this time. Do better.

The location is very convenient. I have the wash plans on four of my cars. I am a little disappointed in the quality of the car wash for quite a while now several of the spinning scrubbers have not been operational and the water seems to be spraying on evenly like there’s a clog or valve clogged. Then the things that hang down, one of them doesn’t seem to be operational as well. So a lot of things seem to be needing maintenance. I also have been to some green clean locations where the drying portion of the car wash is far better one even had a roll of shammy towels that dried the windshield and roof upon exiting overall not bad. I just wished it was maintained a little bit better.

I'll be honest....I read through the most recent four or five reviews, and I was thinking that I shouldn't have my car washed here. But this place was the closest, and I had a limited amount of time, so I took a chance. I had a GREAT car wash! The guy taking the money was very nice, the woman motioning me to get into place was very patient, and the car wash got rid of all that yuck that had blown onto the car in some recent windstorms. I couldn't have asked for a better car wash.

This car wash does a really good job. The ceramic coating seems to work pretty well, as noted by water beading up on the car when it rains. The only complaint is that it doesn’t do the best job on the back end of the car. Friendly staff, and the cars get in and out pretty quickly. Overall, definitely worth it, and especially if you do the monthly unlimited.

First time here. I bought the “unlimited standard” plan for my mom. Her first time ever through the car wash, came home and I see this. This is my licked fingers rubbing on the hood of her car. I’m rubbing the dirt off with my saliva and fingers. Proof is in the pictures.

Best place by my house and I am a monthly member, $35. Wish the vacuums worked a little better. Edit: Ive been going here for 5+ years and have 3 cars on the monthly plan now. I’m loyal and it’s conveniently by my house but the quality has gone down hill. It would be nice if the vacuums were upgraded like the new locations. Also there has been an increase in smudges all over the windshields when I come out. The wheel cleaning is subpar at best and never gets them all the way clean. Staff is still always great though. Thanks

This review was replied to by their corporate office…. They were very concerned about the facts shown in this review. I’m not sure who deleted their reply since then but I’m glad to show it to anyone who would like to see. This is true. They are ripping you off. Garbage business practices! (Edited to add photos from their most recent promo of “OUR BEST WASH PLUS CERAMIC”) notice that there is no tire shine in the photos. They are just liars. As the spring months come around, they email everybody and tell them they’re raising their prices…. Pretty kind of them. So then I cancelled my membership. A week or two ago I went and paid for a basic wash…. Just ran through real quick and headed home. When I got home I realized that the DUST on the back of my car was still there. It hadn’t even gotten wet. So that made me decide I couldn’t use the basic wash, because it’s obviously awful. Side note: (One Chesapeake patron actually posted recently saying that management at the Edinburgh location told her the basic wash didnt include soap ) So yesterday I went and paid for their “washy Wednesday” which is advertised as “our best wash plus ceramic” Yet when I went through the wash, as I came to the area where the ceramic is…. I couldn’t believe my eyes…. The sign lights up to say “BASIC SHINE”….. which is clearly not their best wash. (See the photo) They’re actively ripping people off at Edinburgh. Garbage. Garbage. Garbage. It’s the only place that my boss has ever washed his car and his car is two years old, covered in swirl marks. Don’t go here.

This is the first one star review I have ever given on Google before. I have been a loyal patron of this location since they opened, to include the top of the line membership. I have been satisfied until this last 6 months. Whenever I go to this location, something in the tunnel is always broken, whether its a brush, a water jet or blowers.....fine, I get it-things happen. However, my membership price climbs every single year, why all the broken equipment? Every single time I arrive there, my RFID tag doesn't work. Its infuriating, especially for those waiting line behind me. The attendant comes over, "re scans" the tag (which never works) and makes me sit there for five minutes, saying "Its slow today". When the gate didn't open like the last 3 times I came (brand new tag mind you), he asked what wash I use and ensured me he would let the attendant know. I purchased the premium wash package, tell me why I still got the basic wash when I went through. Lastly and probably the most irritating, the curtains at the end of the wash NEED to be changed. I have brought it to the attention of multiple workers and at least two managers in the last 6 months. They are leaving grease ALL over the hood, the roof and sides of the car. This isn't new, I have said something many times. When I tried to wipe it off with rags from you guys (that I also have to pay for), it smears and makes an absolute MESS. I had to go home and re wash my entire vehicle! This completely eliminates the point and convenience of paying $50 a month for the unlimited premium washes i am not getting. I am most annoyed by this, it is not a one-off, this has happened multiple times. Each time i bring it up, the managers always say they'll "let upper management know". I don't know if its poor management or quantity over quality, but either way, I am a very disappointed customer recently. I don't do this to bash, I do this because I want management to FIX IT. The cost is minimal to replace faulty equipment, to have to go home and rewash my truck after this is abysmal. Its not about the money, its about principle. Please do better, I drive past many other decent car washes and go out of my way to come to Green Clean.

I have been coming here since this location opened cleaning both my personal cars and company car. I always purchase the basic wash. I don't need the bells and whistles. Lately the quality of the washes has gone down hill and I feel like I'm walking into a furniture store every time I pull up to the booth, being hounded to buy a membership. When I ask for a basic wash, that should be understood that I am not interested in a more expensive wash, especially a monthly membership for one. It seems as they keep opening new locations in VA and NC, the operations at this location have suffered. I can't speak to the quality at the other ones. With the price of a basic wash increasing 57 percent in January, I unfortunately will be looking for a new spot for a car wash. If the owner reads this, I suggest getting back to doing the basics well prior to the quick expansion. Based on other recent reviews, mine isn't an outlier.

With all the bad reviews, I thought I should leave a review of my experience. I usually hand wash my car at home, but due to the weather, I find it best to use a local car wash. I've been to this location a few times and it never disappointed me. I signed up for a monthly membership because of the constant frost and snow lately. It's a cost savings. You can also cancel when you want. My car was cleaned all over, all four tires shined, and no dirt or build up anywhere. No car wash is perfect. I received good customer service and my car was shining clean. Thank you and see in a couple days!

Went in for a $18, second from the top wash. Wash is very ineffective. Needed to go a second time to get simple bird poop off side of car. Then I noticed the tire treatment is only on one side... The driver's side. Just maybe system is down or they are trying to go cheap and only do the side that most drivers see... For $18 I expect a things to work the first time...

I thought this was a car wash…I must have read the sign wrong because my car looks dirtier than before I drove it through the sad, wilted washing mechanisms. Try another location of Green Clean or use the ole hose & bucket at home. This place is falsely advertising its services.

I repeat do not go to the car wash. They scratch my rims when you go through the machine that locks onto your tire and then pulls your car through the machine contacted their claims department and totally denied the claim saying it was negligence on my end if you come here and get your car damaged, you will not get it fixed even though they say that they will trust me this place is no good. Stay away.

The attendant spent so much time trying to sell me on the membership that cars kept coming up to the membership line by the time I was able to get a word in to tell him I wanted a single car wash. I was also informed that their prices will be increasing again by $4 or something even though that’s roughly what it cost when it opened. The wash didn’t shine the tires evenly. One tire was shined normally, one side didn’t get any at all, and the fourth tire was half way shined. It also left dirt on my hood. What is the benefit of coming here for the same amount of money as other competitors who scrub your car before the wash, and also include detailing sprays and towels for you to wipe down your car afterwards. Not impressed for the money.
