Took my chevy Silverado 1500 Rally edition into Ray. We did a walk around together. We noticed a lot more dings on the truck then I originally thought. I told him I wanted to be done up like the day I bought it. He had a paintless dent remover come in and get the dents out. There was one really bad one on the tailgate body line and they got that thing all the way out. Ray was able to polish the scratches out of it. I can’t even tell. The Interior is immaculate. He but a special coating on the seats where the water just balls up and won’t soak in. Engine bay looks brand new. No dirt or dusk and all the wires and black plastic look new. All the black plastic looks new on the truck. You start looking under the truck in all the crevices and nothing was missed. If I had the extra money I would of gone all out and got the Ceramic treatment. Ask Ray about it. It was a little outside what I was willing to spend now but will definitely have him do it in the future. Talk to Ray about proper maintenance and up keep. He really knows his stuff. I just had the one step polish done and I’m very pleased with it. Thanks Ray it was money well spent!

I recently had Ray at Golden Gate Auto Salon transform my car... that’s the best way to describe it. A full transformation into absolute perfection! After buying a pre-owned luxury vehicle I noticed the previous owner had treated the paint very harshly and there were many swirls and imperfections. Ray was able to remove all of that and bring the car’s paint job back to showroom perfect. Paint correction, detailing (inside and out), polishing, ceramic coating, hydrophobic protection, and even PPF to protect everything. He treats every car as if it is his own. You will not find anyone around who does a better job with your car than Ray at Golden Gate Auto Salon. The value and quality of his work far outweighs the price he charges. Highly recommended!

I was recommended to use Golden Gate Auto Salon by very good friends of mine. I recently purchased a 2020 (final model year!) GT350 Heritage Edition with the goal of keeping it in amazing condition until I'm dead and I'm the ground. Ray came over to my house to check out the car and give me an estimate. I could tell in the first minute of talking with him that he is an expert at making a car better that you can dream, and that he's very passionate about providing the best quality service in the industry. We decided that doing full interior and exterior protection was the best course of action, which included a long life ceramic coating using high end products. I'm all about going the extra mile to make things perfect, and Ray is a like-minded car guy. He really knows his stuff, and I appreciate his honesty. Ray operates as a lone wolf pretty much, so he had my car for a week, which is what he quoted. I'm pretty sure he put more that 50 hours into my ride. He texted me updates throughout the week with sneak peek pictures, which made the waiting easier while seeing his progress. Pulling up to his shop and seeing the car gave me and my wife serious chills. The color richness of the paint was something out of a magazine shoot and the glossy effect of the ceramic coating was unbelievable. The car looked wet. Ray should change his title to "The Wetness King". The car came out better than I could have ever hoped for. I can't wait for the next cars and coffee to show the guys in the Shelby car club! I brought my 2010 Toyota Venza to Ray because I want to get it cleaned up to sell it. It is a great car, but I am ready for an upgrade. My car has been the family car used for ski trips with the kids to Tahoe, camping trips with the kids and long distance family trips to Southern California. My son used my car when he was first learning how to drive and scratched up all sides of the car. Needless to say my car has been really through some rough times and rough trips with the kids. It really needed some love on the interior and exterior. Ray was able to get our most of the scratches using his magic on the paint! He was able to bring all the leather seats back to life by really cleaning them and treating them. He thoroughly cleaned all the carpets and even the ceiling had food on it! Any other car detail place won't even come close to the level of detail that Ray puts into your vehicle! I highly recommend his services!

Bought a set of black aluminum wheels, one of which had overspray and dull finish. Did not want to go to the process and hassle of re power coating the wheel. Took the wheel to Ray to see what he could do. Wow!! Within a couple of hours the wheel was absolutely perfect. I have seen other jobs done by Ray and have referred friends to him with classic cars. Golden Gate Auto Salon did a great job! The truck looks better than the day I bought it from the dealerships detailer. There were some pretty bad scratches on it from an unfortunate event. They fixed them perfectly and did not mess up the factory finish. Treated all of the plastic better than the factory, and etched all of the glass, it looks flawless.
