UPDATE: Just had my second Rivian R1S fully wrapped. Another amazing job and Joe stands by their work 100%. Stealth wrap on Rivian Storm Blue came out looking amazing. They took care of any concerns I had and were really generous. Thank you to A Shade Darker! This is the cleanest, most professional, and most amazing wrap job I’ve ever had on a car. I’ve had 4 wraps performed over the years, and A Shade Darker is hands down the best. The owner of the company Joe, could not be more stand-up and he genuinely cares that your car comes out the way you want. The meticulous attention to detail is amazing. I dropped my Rivian R1S off on a Monday, went over what I wanted done (XPEL Stealth, Ceramic Coating, and tint), and it was ready on time end of that week. When I went to go pick it up, Joe had it on a charger (totally unexpected but amazing perk) and walked over my Rivian with him. Not a flaw with their work. This is actually my second job with Joe and Shade Darker. I took my previously wrapped Tesla to have them remove the wrap. Due to the wrap being done improperly at another shop, it took painstakingly days to remove it. Once again exceeding my expectations, when I showed up to pick it up the car looked BRAND NEW. More amazing work by them. Joe and his staff went above and beyond and made sure the price was fair. I cannot recommend A Shade Darker enough. Amazing shop, and one of the most honest and stand-up individuals in Joe that I’ve ever met.

Great experience overall! Took my new 2025 Honda Civic Hybrid in to get some Tint work done. The employees were also super informative with the options and differences between the 3 tint types they have to offer. I decided to go with 15% Ceramic Prime XR on the two front doors and 5% on the back half of my vehicle along with a brow on the windshield, it was also done in less than 2 hours which made me feel very pleased. The car overall looks absolutely amazing & i’d defintley recommend them to anybody in the Sonoma county area.

Our 2019 Zl1 1LE Camaro was stolen from our home in January of 2024. Three months later it was recovered by the Viper Task Force in Las Vegas Nevada. The thieves put six thousand hard miles on it. It was in perfect before it was stolen. Not so good when we got it back, but still in one piece. We had to replace the windshield, the passenger window, The black wrap on the engine hood, and the carbon fiberhood scoop. We bought all the glass & carbon fiber. Jay's Auto Glass installed the windows and did an excellent job. A Shade Darker did the tinting, the new wrap, and Installed the new carbon fiber hood scoop for us. We can't thank them enough. They were so easy to work with. They gave us written estimate and stuck to it. The prices were very good. They gave us an appointment that was reasonable and did the job all in one day. The work is outstanding, excellent, superior, professional. I cannot say enough good things about A Shade Darker. We were really hurt and heart broken about having our car stolen. The trouble free excellent work that they did has helped ease the pain. When we left the shop I must admit, we were very happy. If you want the absolute best in Sonoma County use use A Shade Darker!

The best place to get your windows tinted! We had ours done about a month and a half ago and we absolutely love it! No bubbles, no defects, nothing. Plus, it comes with a warranty. They were very professional, fast, and easy to work with. They answered all my questions and explained everything clearly. I would even say that a shade darker is pretty affordable since you can choose from three different films. I will definitely be recommending this place to all my friends and family from now on!

The first time I met Joey at “A Shade Darker”, was in 2000 after I purchased a new 2000 Chevy Suburban. I knew it was going to be parked outside all the time, and I wanted tinted windows to protect the contents and keep the interior cool. What I did not expect is that 25 years later, the tint is still holding up! Looks the same despite countless trips to go skiing, hunting, boating, and exposure to temperature extremes close to 0° all the way up to 120°. For 25 years the vehicle was never garaged! So of course I had A Shade Darker do the tinting on my 2017 Ford Super Duty as well as my wife’s 2025 Mercedes GLS 450. Impeccable work, crazy attention to detail, and pride in the finished product, are hallmark’s of this business! 10 out of 10!

My husband had his truck windows tinted here on Monday and we're SO happy with the result. We now have protection from the brightness of the sun, heat, and even UV rays (which is super important to me especially for protecting our baby in his rear-facing car seat!). I have had 5-6 vehicles tinted here and yet again, I had an awesome experience at A Shade Darker Window Tinting. Madison set everything up for me. She got me an appointment fast, gave me affordable pricing, and the turnaround from start to finish was incredibly quick. My brand new car came back spotless with perfect tint, no bubbles, no imperfections at all. I even met the owner Joey, who was super friendly and professional. The shop itself is clean, welcoming, and stocked with drinks for customers plus a cool display of shirts, and window cleaners you can buy to support their business. A Shade Darker is exceptional, and I can’t recommend them highly enough. I brought in my brand-new car for window tinting and the results were flawless — no bubbles, no imperfections, and 5 months later, the tint still looks perfect. This was my second time going to a shade darker for my window tint. They are great!! Super friendly and great customer service. Maddy works at the front desk and took me out to see two different cars with tint to give me an example of what different tint percentages looked like. I took my car in 12pm and it was ready at 2:30pm. I’d highly recommend ! :)
