On July 28, 2019, at 2:55 am in the morning I drove 15 minutes out of my way to go to this Family Express because these are the stores I frequent. I wanted to get a donut for the long ride home after working 10 hours. The donut section wS blocked off by 3 of those rubber wet floor cones so I walked around it. An employee behind the register named Rory yelled at me because I walked on his wet floor. I had not walked on the wet area. I went the other way as he asked and he went on to complain that he had to clean the store. I replayed that the customer should be his number one priority. He went nuts! Told me to leave the store. I went out to get my ice cup and went back on and filled it and grabbed a muffin. He charged me .42 cents for ice. I am never charged for ice at Family Express if I bring my own cup. I let it go. He continued to razz me. I asked him not to speak to me. I had inserted my card to pay for my order and he stopped the sale and said he would not sell to me. I spend a lot of money at Damily Rxpress every week! I left the muffin and left the store. I am in the store parking lot writing this review. He just now came out and yelled at me through my car window. I’m not sure what this gentlemen’s issue is but he does not belong in his position. I’ve been humiliated yelled at and mistreated. To think I went way out of my way to come here. His behavior is indicative to a person who has problems with drugs. What a horrible horrible eexperience.

First time I went here. The credit card machine did not give a receipt. The wash was terrible. Only one vacuum. And it was out of order. All I wanted was a basic wash. Not worth the $6.00. Not even worth $3.00 which is what I pay in Chicago area and get an excellent basic wash.

Love their rewards program. Always saving on gas. Love their pizza, especially when you need something quick. The kids love their donuts too. Everyone here staff wise is so helpful and friendly.

Where to begin, upon entering the store I am always met with a friendly genuine sincere greeting from a smiling employee. The store manager "nicole" and I think assistant "bryan" are two of the most amazing people I've ever had the pleasure of knowing in my life. Those two help set the awesome vibe for the rest of the staff and store. Everyone of the employees here go far above their required duties. I have never seen such level of hard work, care and dedication, along with just such compassion freely given from people especially people at work.

It's only a good place to go if it's slow since the bald guy left. You'll have a line 10 ppl deep, 1 person at the register while 2 or 3 others are standing around acting like they're working or "stocking" during peak hours. I've waited in line for 15 min. I come here all the time out of necessity so it's not a one time thing.

Customer service is awful. Went today, 4/5 around 1:30. The two women working we're talking about whipping people. Not very work appropriate conversation. Especially in front of customers. My boyfriend ordered a cookie. We didn't know they just get them off the shelf and put them in the oven. The lady who was cooking was so rude about it and made a big show about how she will do it if they have them and we had to grab it for her. She looks older than me and I don't act like that. Especially at work.

This is the closest location to my job. I usually stop by in the morning b4 work, around 9:50am or so, to get breakfast, donuts, or a hot chocolate. About 75% of the time I go, their hot chocolate machine either needs to be refilled or it's not working. And when it does work, it only fills the cup about 70% thru. It doesn't even fill it all the way to the top. And this is a medium cup guys not a large one. They almost never have any breakfast sandwiches at that time. What they do have instead are slices of pizza. Seriously guys, pizza b4 10am in the morning? Disgusting. This morning, I go to get a hot chocolate, machine wasn't working. They refilled the hot chocolate cartridge, I tried it again, and it still wasn't working. I was in a time crunch cause of work, so I decided to just buy some donuts. There was one person in front of me at the cashier. This cashier was not trained properly, she had to call the manager over 3 different times to take care of the guy in front of me. This was not the fault of the guy in front of me but the employees. 1st time she called them was to ask the manager where she can select the car wash on the screen, 2nd was to ask a question about a safe, and the 3rd time she called the manager over I just put my donuts on the counter and left. I ended up being 5 minutes late to work with the inconsistencies of this facility. If it happened once or twice, then I get it. But this is a constant occurrence and I would not recommend this gas station to anybody.

This is the worst Family Express I have ever been to. I waited in line for over 6 minutes while the cashier, Kassandra, was finishing a fight with her boyfriend. She was rude when I asked her to ring me up. Never shop here. Just avoid it all together. Kassandra has an attitude that makes you just want to leave. When I finally did pay, she cheated me out of $5 and when I said something she quickly gave me my $5. Watch your change if you go here too.

It’s crazy I bought pizza at 5:33pm they had so much pizza and just threw it away I couldn’t buy it for half price or get it free smh wow but I paid full price and 20 seconds later he throws all of it away wow never again spend my money there thanks but no thanks ✌🏿✌🏿✌🏿

I live right down the street from the family express on Edison. However EVERY TIME I go in there one of the cashiers working is super rude. She never has a name tag visible for me to see her name. Each time I ask her for a price on the nicotine items she huffs and puffs. Today all I asked was “how much are the pods for the njoy” because the app said get $1.50 off two packs. She refused to tell me the price of the item until I told her a flavor. I tried to explain I have never had those before and I was just seeing how much the pods were before I made a purchase. She continued to ask which one do you want me to scan? I have worked at a gas station before so when we had new products come in I was always aware of the prices that way people did not have to feel as if they were bothering me. It’s very frustrating to have to deal with someone that clearly does not want to be there. I understand everyone has bad days. But every time I have gone in there and she is working I want to just walk out and go somewhere else.

I went in tonight with a handful of change to put in gas. The kind gentleman at the register named Tim, without hesitation took what little bit of change I had and blessed me ten fold from his own pocket. He would not take no for an answer . He simply asked me to pay it forward. I hope he’s blessed so much in his life and understands how grateful I am to have met him tonight.

This Family Express never has any food ready for breakfast. Almost 8.a.m and they don't have 1 thing ready for breakfast. Any other family express has food ready this early. Even during the week I've gone in a bunch of times around 7:30.a.m on my way to work and they still won't have food ready so I'll stop at the one on Union in Mishawaka and they will have the whole warmers filled with food for breakfast. I don't understand why they get away with never having breakfast ready when they OPEN!!!!! The next day. 8:30.a.m thought maybe if I ordered through the app I might get breakfast from This Family Express. The app says my food won't be ready until 10.a.m. Guess who's not ordering from Family Express today. 2 days in a row they lost out on my business. That's not the only time because whenever I want breakfast during the week on my way to work I don't even waste my time stopping here because it's always a waste of time every time I've stopped to see if they have anything ready. This is the closest gas station to my house and I just drive by everyday instead of stopping. Worst managed Family Express I've been in. Zero stars ......

The new girl with the bright green eyeshadow is mean. I've encountered her three times and all three times she was extremely rude. The last time I was in there she wanted to call me out saying I have too much makeup on, am I trying to find a man... Yes there were men in there and that was embarrassing. No business being upfront taking care of customers. Put that jerk in the back stocking shelves or something.

If using the pet wash be prepared with your own shampoo. I previously used this pet wash and had a good experience. However this time there was no shampoo, conditioner, flea and tick wash, or deodorizer. On top of that, the button to add more time was not working so if I wanted to fully dry my dog I would have to pay an additional $12 instead of $1 or $2

This place is disgusting 🤮 it’s always trashed, and the employees are either on the phone or eating while taking transactions. Coke was out no straws and when I asked if she would check the Coke she mumbled it’ll get taken care of tomorrow. I honestly don’t know how management can let this occur. It’s embarrassing when we have to wait on them. On a busy road with employees that don’t care about their store. Skinny red head doesn’t smile and her clothes are filthy. I hope they get better employees
