⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Review to End All Reviews for Drive & Shine Mishawaka I’ve been coming to Drive and Shine since 2019 and have been a VIP member since 2020. Out of all the places we go in Michiana, this one stands out for how kind, professional, and genuinely family friendly it is. They’ve taken great care of us, our cars, and our family year after year, and we don’t patronize other car washes. Back then it was just my wife and I. Today we are a family of five with three children under six, and I can say without hesitation that this is by far one of the most kid friendly businesses in the greater South Bend and Michiana area. That fact alone is a major reason I continue to give them our business. In a culture where children are too often seen as a nuisance or an afterthought, it is refreshing and deeply meaningful to support a company that genuinely values and respects families. Over the years we have never had a single negative experience at this car wash. I realize no business is perfect and everyone can have an off day, but what stands out about Drive and Shine is their consistency. We have always been treated with respect, patience, and genuine care, whether we have come through with our cars. Beyond the car washes themselves, we have received excellent maintenance and repair advice that has saved us real money and kept our vehicles in top shape. The employees have an incredible eye for car care and prevention. A special thank you to some standout team members, Dede, Allen, Caleb, Brandon, and David. David, the new manager here in Mishawaka, brings impressive leadership, professionalism, and a great attitude to the entire operation. Before he moved to Chicago, Nick was another exceptional example of Drive and Shine’s high standards and always went the extra mile. Even though we drive an electric car, the Oil Change side of the business still takes great care of us. They are always willing to look under the car if we hear a strange noise, top off our tire pressure, and make sure everything is safe for the road. Shoutout not just to the employees but to whoever hired them, because this is an indication of hiring the right people for the job, regardless of what the job is, the employees are excellent. What makes Drive and Shine special is not just a collection of good experiences, it is the pattern of consistently excellent care. I have seen these employees work through long days and difficult customers with professionalism and kindness every single time. Thank you Drive and Shine Mishawaka for setting such a high bar for customer service and for creating a place where families like ours truly feel welcome. Davon treated us exceptionally well, he went far and beyond the call of duty, we came in for oil change and antifreeze flush. Davon gave us a suggestion on our pvc valve as oil was leaking into the filter. We would have never known it otherwise, we will be taking it in to the shop to fix asap! Davon also offered to check our tire air pressure. He was genuinely friendly and kind and made us feel cared for beyond just a customer. We appreciate it and will return to this Drive and Shine for sure!

The outside and inside always look flawless — so clean you could compare it to the waters of some distant island where you can see straight to the bottom. The employees are friendly, the service is fast, and even on busy days they move with efficiency. Stopped by to have the car cleaned inside and out in prep for Thanksgiving road trip. It's a rainy day and there was no one in line beside me. When I got home and began packing the car I was shocked to see how poorly the interior was cleaned. Dirty water pooled in the floor mats. Crumbs in the seams of the seats. Stuff on the carpet at the edges of the floor mats. Pretty disappointing. Not likely to do that again. When asked how satisfied I was w/ the price for this service, I was happy till I reviewed the work. Now not!

Warning!! don’t spend $40 on the interior clean. This is what you’ll get from their service. I was excited tried it for the first time and am very disappointed. They didn’t even wipe my Drivers door jam like they are supposed to. They left dirt on my door and on my steering wheel, this is a brand new car and we have 9000 miles on it. I will never go here again. I took pictures as soon as I pulled up to my driveway and posted the review

This was the very best experience I’ve had with any kind of service for my car. Brian Foutch, the Detail Manager, was amazing! I called early morning and he got my in quickly that same day. And he provided excellent service and a lot more than I asked for. Definitely “over-delivered”! The best customer service and the best quality. I would highly recommend and will continue to use Drive & Shine! As I told Brian after he completed the interior cleaning, my car looked better than the day I bought it!

Just paid $40 for an interior clean for the first time ever at Drive & Shine. I typically go to a small family owned car wash in Elkhart for the same service at a fraction of the cost. I can not believe the poor quality with the amount of individuals working in the vehicle. I will let the photos do the talking.

I came in to have my car detailed 2 weeks ago by Brian. He was strongly recommended to me by a family member. Upon arrival for my appointment he was nice and we went through exactly what I wanted done with the detailing saying I wanted the top package available. Also due to having a lot of dog hair in the rear area of my vehicle that there will be extra charges which I was okay with. I ended up paying $630.00 for a full detail which included the whole exterior from headlight restoration, engine bay cleaning, and the whole interior which has left to be desired. I picked my car up the same day and was happy with how my car looked until it got out into the actual sunlight I could see what areas where poorly cleaned. From the front and back windshield having lots of streaks and dog hair embedded in the sides of my dashboard. I know this could be nit picky to some, but spending that kind of $ I would expect it to be completely detailed. I am happy with how the exterior came out just not overly happy with the interior detail!

Good, professional customer service is hard to find anymore, so I was rather shocked when Brian and his team of interior cleaners demonstrated some of the best I’ve ever experienced. I confused the interior cleaning bay with the self-serve indoor vacuums that other locations have. Brian came over to help me, pointed me towards the closest location that does have the self-serve option, but then hooked me up with an interior clean as a courtesy this time. I wasn’t expecting that but was extremely grateful. The gentleman who released the car to me was very kind and professional and had a genuine smile. Overall, I was impressed with the experience. Definitely going to make the Mishawaka location my new go-to. P.S. While waiting, I bought my daughter a toy from the vending machine. Say hello to Brian the lemur!
