Terrible experience and an absolute waste of my time. I received a coupon for a free wash which expires tomorrow so I attempted to redeem today. Upon arrival the entrance for “Paying Customers” was blocked off. I drove up to the “Members” entrance since it was the only one open. I tried to scan my coupon at the kiosk but it was still telling me to pay. I then attempted to type in the code but it was incredibly difficult trying to lean out my car and type a long code on a touch screen. An employee finally walked over and I explained my situation to him. He proceeds to tell me I need to pay and I can’t use my coupon because it needs to be scanned. I point to where it says ‘Scan Here’ and he tells me it doesn’t work and “the lady is not here” to scan as he points to the blocked off “Paying Customers” kiosk. I reiterate that I am here because I have a coupon for a free wash and he tells me I need to pay now or come back tomorrow. After this experience I was not going to give this place my money. I then had to back up to get out of the line while cars are lining up behind me and making it difficult to even exit. Why advertise offering a free car wash and send me numerous texts and emails encouraging me to redeem it if you’re just going to waste my time and tell me I need to pay? Nowhere on the offer did it say I could only redeem my coupon on certain times. It simply says “Pull up to the pay station and use your code.” I was going to give this place a chance despite it being a bit out of the way for me. But with misleading promotions and a lack of customer service, I’m not wasting my time on this place again.

I do not recommend it, your car will remain dirty even after a "platinum" wash. The staff refuses to wipe off the flaws of the automatic car wash.

Unbelievable. With the switch to daylight saving time, they now close at 5. I just can’t make it there after work. I’m paying for a membership but can’t even use the service. Plus, one of the wash stages is often out of order. I’m not coming back here again.

This is the worst car wash in my history. I brought the car back dirty after washing it. The windows look worse than they did before. I do not recommend them to anyone. This is a waste of time and money. In short, this is a garbage car wash.🤮

Scammers! Avoid at all costs! They do not deserve even a 1/4 Star. This company should be investigated the State Attorney General for its deceptive business practices. They fail to disclose anywhere on their signs that this is a glorified self-service where car owners are paying for the privilege of cleaning their own cars themselves. When I realized that I paid for the service that has not been provided (interior cleaning and vacuum), I requested a refund but was directed to call customer support. During my conversation with a customer service representative, he refused to issue a partial refund (I was willing to pay for an exterior only car wash because this is the only service I received) and flatly suggested that I dispute my charge with my credit card. As soon as I informed him that they need to refund the fee for a "full service" because it was not provided and that their failure to disclose this information on their signs constitutes deceptive business practices - he hung on the phone. Will never use their services ever again and will warn others to do the same.

Hello, Saturday 10/12/24 at 11:30 am. I came in for a car wash and got the platinum wash. I came in to the Staten Island, Hylan Blvd location. I had looked at my car prior to coming in just because I knew it was dirty. After I left the wash, I drove 18 minutes to my house. I got out and immediately noticed the black scuff on the front left bumper of my new 2024 honda civic sport. I went straight back to the car wash and explained that I did not leave my car out parked or left it. The worker said he was going to get the manager, but then comes back out and just gives me a form to fill, saying we'll call you. I said thank you, but I want to speak to the manager. The manager says what's going on. I explained to him already that you guys scuffed my bumper. He proceeds to tell me he washes luxury cars like Cadillac and Lexus, and this doesn't happen. That was rude. Why should it matter what kind of car i drive, I pay a lot of money for my car, and the point is it was ruined. He then proceeds to tell me I probably didn't notice when I first got in my car that morning?? That it wasn't them As I try to get in contact with the owner, Mark. I was told by a customer service rep that according to the footage, it wasn't them, and nothing can be done. I keep asking to speak with the owner to review the camera footage myself. But apparently, the manager does not have access to the camera. Only the owner Mark does. If Mark does not have his own number and is always traveling, how am I supposed to get in contact with someone who has access to check these cameras? Please don't come here as whenever there is an incident, you will not get compensation for them damaging your car. As it seems management and no one else is capable of handling incendents like such.

If I could give zero stars I would. I just got off of the phone with someone named Moses in regards to a refund. I came to a Staten Island express auto spa location for one single express car wash. I asked for one single car wash and the person at the kiosk said okay. He offered a receipt to which I responded no thank you because I don’t touch receipts. Somehow I have been getting billed since June for a membership I was apparently signed up for. When I called the shop to speak about it Moses informed me that I was automatically signed up for a membership against my will. This is absolute thievery. I have never experienced such a disgusting misuse of someone’s trust. To take my card numbers and proceed to rob me for months at a time is absolutely disgusting. Moses informed me it was on the receipt that I got signed up for a membership, the receipt I said no thank you to. Even if I HAD taken a receipt how dare you just take my money and sign me up for a membership without asking my permission- who reads receipts unless there’s a future issue??? I am absolutely disgusted in this business. The car wash didn’t even clean my car fully and I’m stuck about a hundred dollars poorer. I have never been so grossed out by a business- they are quite literally robbing people. They said they could “request” a refund to come back in about 3-5 business days. I am a registered nurse and I quite literally break my back for every cent I make. They should be ashamed of themselves for running a business this way. DO NOT GO TO STATEN ISLAND EXPRESS AUTO SPA. THEY WILL STEAL YOUR CARD NUMBERS AND ROB YOU.

Horrible!!!! Worst car wash I have ever had. Wouldn't dry windows properly and paid for armorall on tires but they only slopped it on top of tires and left drip marks. SMH Never saw anything like this.

I feel I got scammed. Paid $24 for the platinum wash and end up didn’t get all the services from their website. I went through the tunnel and they just let me go after the guy uses the towel to wipe my car. No instructions or receipts to indicate the staff for what kind of service I paid for. Price is reasonable if they give you all the services as it should.

Came in for my first ever car wash. Mind you I just bought this car. After the wash I notice paint chipping on both front doors. I filled out an incident report but they basically refused to take any accountability and insisted that their car wash was not at fault. The manager was nice enough to fill out an incident report and help as best as he could, but I am very frustrated to not even hear from them after the incident.

$25 to get your car wet. The workers do a performative wipe at the end—they just want to look like they're doing something, but they're not actually doing much. They're more concerned about chatting with each other. One of them tells me to keep driving while the other is wiping the hood! Because I had to drive around the block to get to the vacuum and the car was still wet, it ended up looking almost worse than in the beginning. They also don't provide any towels or spray for you to clean the interior or properly dry the exterior. Waste of money. Is there any car wash on the whole island that actually cleans your car? How do these places stay in business? How are customers putting up with such sub-par service and still keeping these people in business?

Payed for monthly unlimited carwash and everytime I've recently gone, they're closed due to cold, freezing etc. Driving back home the car wash near New Dorp lane was open and I had my car washed there. Also canceled my monthly unlimited wash subscription. If people are paying for unlimited washes, they need to be open all the time. Shameful!

This place is garbage!! Ever since Joe sold the spot and the new owners took over its been terrible! Even if you pay for their most expensive wash this is what you get !! Very sad , ive been coming here for the past 17 years but this will definitely be my last time!

WOW! I wish i would of seen all these negative reviews on this place. But who's to think that a car wash would be running a place of business like this? They definatly pulling scams on there customers which in the end they gonna end up losing customers and maybe even get shut down. I went in December 2025 first time there there was a young lady outside i try paying with cash was told they only take cards.hmmm? Ok, i ask how much she tells me todays my lucky day theres a promotion $17.50 for the month. If not it will be $25 for that day of car wash. So im like ok great i know math right? So i agree to pay the $17.50 for the month here comes Jan 2026 and THEY 'Express Auto Spa' took it upon themselves to make me a monthly customer and TAKE MY $ WITHOUT MY CONSENT KNOWLEDGE and charge my credit card $25.50 they even chose wat package was for there benifit. Isn't this stealing? Fraud? I call for them to cancel this charge im told i had to call my bank. I got upset and said its ok forget about it. Not to mention i been there twice and bothtimes my car windows are all stain because these wet back workers are using dirty rags to dry my windows. And my car still be dripping wet they barely dry your car. They rush you out. This place is a joke! Im sorry gotta go some where else to wash my car i work to hard for my $.
