Brought our new car into Empire. First, they were extremely thorough and diligent in examining the car before they ever made an estimate. Once they finished the examination of the car, they told us exactly what needed to be done, how long it would take, and how much it would be. After comparing their detail estimate to two others, I agreed to have them do the work. The work was started and completed on time as agreed to in the estimate. The car looks better than new when they finished. Unfortunately, I now have to bring our other car to them, but based on our previous experience, I won't waste my time shopping around.

My experience with the team at Empire Custom Paint & Body was nothing short of exceptional! They performed bedliner spraying on my '07 Tundra to address wear/tear of the Hood, Top, and Cap as well as my Front Grill, Bumpers, Fender Flares, Running Boards, and Tailgate. From our 1st call and meeting I could tell this was a shop that paid attention to details. Offered up product suggestions and then followed thru with the execution. Cannot state enough how satisfied I am with their work. The final act and culmination of years of upgrading my truck which now has a rugged new look & feel plus years of extended life to weather the harsh Northeast climate. Would not recommend anything involving custom paint work at this shop. Brought my vehicle in for a panel repair. The prep work for the paint was performed poorly which led to fisheye / bubbling. There was also lots of overspray that could have been easily avoided with a few more minutes of prep work prior to painting. Seems like they were in a really big rush for this job - exactly what I don't want for my car. I decided to go to a different body shop to get it fixed. I met a body shop guy at a car show who owns a 1960's corvette. His corvette had an exquisite paint job and it turns out he painted it himself. I decided to take my car to him to get it fixed. He said the paint problems on my car were due to extremely poor prep work like applying bondo and paint over glossy surfaces. Again, seems like they were in a big rush. In short, this company advertises themselves as a custom paint shop but the results on my car were closer to what you get at a standard chop shop chasing insurance money. If you have a really nice car and want top quality work, this is NOT the place for you.

I was shopping for a motorcycle paint job. Most shops I called weren't interested. Dave got right back to me (while out of town) and worked my job into his schedule. Worked together on the design. Couldn't be happier with my 2024 indian scout 60 custom. 😊 Outstanding craftsmanship and customer service. The paint finishes the bike. Highly recommend this shop for your custom bike project. As a business owner myself, I really hate leaving negative reviews—especially for local shops. But after taking my Mustang GT home and reviewing the work calmly, I realized the installation was not done correctly. I paid $920 for a front bumper install, and the bumper had large gaps, the side tabs weren’t seated in the fender track, and the inner liner wasn’t fastened properly. These are basic fitment issues that should’ve been caught before returning the vehicle. The paint finish was also disappointing. Some areas of the clear coat were not polished at all, and my reflection looked distorted instead of mirror-clear, which shows the surface was never leveled or properly finished. On top of that, the bumper had multiple fisheyes in the clear coat, something that only happens when the surface isn’t cleaned or prepped correctly before painting. For the price, I expected premium-quality work, but the fitment, prep work, and final finish were far below what a customer should receive,especially at a professional shop.
