Hesitant on providing the 3 stars. Yes this place is clean and very well kept, however when you begin changing the settings on the washer the price adjusts. It’s already pricey enough and yet they manage to find ways to gouge you even more.

Exceptionally clean and friendly staff. The dryers take long to dry so be prepared with many quarters. I would definitely return if it was my last resort because of the great customer service. Otherwise, I would prefer to make an extra 5 minute drive for dryers that are more efficient and washers that offer a larger variety of sizes and cheaper prices. For the area of Fredericksburg, Elite may be the best.

My wife asked me to wash and dry our queen size bed spreads. I found several positive reviews for Elite Laundry & Car Wash. So, that is where I went. As a rookie at laundromats I was delighted to have one of the owners approach me to offer advice on the size of the machines to use, where to place the soap and bleach ...and should I need any additional help, just let her know. Her instructions were great and fortunately I didn't need additional instruction. Since this is my first visit to a laundromat since back in the early 1970s, I was impressed with the improvements in the equipment that is available. Every one of the machines has been kept in pristine condition. While I was talking with another customer, she told me that Elite was the only one she had found in the area that maintained their machines to a very high standard. If, or when, I am asked to help with a laundry task I know exactly where I am going...Elite Laundry and Car Wash. The laundry is located next to Earl's Hardware. Thanks, Roy

This has to be the nicest cleanest laundromat I have ever been to. Little more expensive than some but The machines are clean and so is the surroundings! Great place highly recommend! They have a six load washer it’s 7.75 washing my California king comforter with ease!

I must admit, it doesn’t look like much from outside but inside it’s nice, clean, and organized. It has lots of options including machines that can take 5 loads at once (I’m washing comforters and easily could’ve combined them in one machine). The woman managing the place takes pride in working here and it shows. The change machine was full and it even smells fresh and clean. All machines were working.

I would highly recommend not ever using the car wash. We were ysing the power washer to rinse our the crumb tray from our glow forge. We followed all the posted rules and did not use any degreaser. Some lady (assuming owner/manager) pulled in behind our truck and jumped out and stared we could not use the car wash to clean this. When pointed out that we were following the posted rules, she pivoted and asked if the object was a car. Of course it was not, but there were no posted rules that stated cars only. Using her logic, my truck would not have been eligible, nor my two SUV parked at home or anything else that is not a car. Apparently there is a reason I never knew this place existed any why there are very few cars uding this service. It is extremely disappointing that you follow the posted rules and still get berated by what is assumed to be the owner/manager. If you want to alter the rules fine, but post them and then you have it in writing, otherwise leave paying customers following the posted rules alone.

We recently moved out of the area and tried using a laundry mat closer to our house.... never again. This is the cleanest, nicest and most efficient laundry mat around! You can tell that the owners take great care of the place, and I will take the drive from Lake Anna once a week to know I have a clean and safe place to do my laundry!

Very expensive, but the whole place, and most importantly the machines, are SUPER clean. Will come here as I can afford to avoid the disgusting machines in my apartment building's laundry room. They have small, medium and large (for comforters etc) capacity washer and dryers. Dryer was fast - dried my load in 18 mins! I was in and out in an hour. Also have change machines, laundry supply machine, and think I saw a snack machine also. Two TV's. Very nice place.

Pros: Nicest laundry mat I've ever been to. Quarters are so shiney. Change machine let me use a $20-bill. Clean top to bottom inside and out. Nice restroom. Nothing stinks, except my laundry lol! Very nice place. I drove 35 minutes extra round trip, out of my way, to try this place. I'm coming back next week. Cons: Little on expensive side because I paid extra $1 for heavy soiled and hot water(yes it was actually hot). Still very fairy priced for the experience. Also laundry mat is not open 24 hours, but that did not affect me. I just figured I would note it.

Washer broke last year and knew about this place from seeing it on way to work. Call it luck because this is likely the cleanest laundromat in the area. Worth the price for washers and dryers just for the quality machines and peace of mind. Even when one machine ate our change the attendant/manager took care of us. Used the car wash as well and never had a problem. Excellent business.

Easily the coolest AND cleanest Laundromat I've ever been to. Not to mention modern machines A few that I've been to, I've looked up the model numbers and they're still using machines from the 70's and 80's. I digress The staff is lovely and the fact that I can wash my car AND do my laundry at the same time? Yes please! Such a great and innovative thing! My only complaint is that I can't rate it more than 5 stars!

I have been using this laundromat for a while and am very satisfied getting my sleeping bags 🎒 washed here. After the washed cycle is complete, there is no traceable odor from another user's load. You can keep an eye out on your laundry and your car at the same time within view. It may cost more, but we'll worth it. I have no problems at this place.

I am glad it is coin operated (with change machine) they have detergent and softener to buy and instructions posted around are clear and polite. The fact that they have a car wash you can use as well is a definite plus.

I like this place, I feel comfortable going here to do my laundry. The machines works great, it's clean, there's wifi and TV's. There's a snack/drink machine, bathroom, change machines, and machines for laundry needs like detergent and softener. I haven't used the car wash personally, but I've seen all kinds of vehicles including Teslas being washed, so it must be decent.

What a beautiful facility! We drove 1.5 hrs to come here based on the reviews and a few photos. I added more photos to show you how nice this place is. We spent 5 hours doing 25 loads of laundry (procrastinated washing comforters etc for about 6mths). I needed large capacity washers and efficient. This is the place to go, and I've never seen a Laundromat with a comment and suggestion box. They care about making sure you have a good experience. I brought my 4 and 1 yr old and they did wonderful. We brought activity books and a few reading books to keep them occupied. They also have a vending machine. Washers ranged from $7-$2.75 a load. They have 3 sizes of washers. I didn't meet the owners, but I can assure you they care about their facility. They have a change machine that took $20's :) Thank you Guys!!!

Stopped in on vacation to do laundry. Really nice and clean. The machines worked well and have soap to buy in a vending machine. WiFi available although didn’t try it and several different size washers and dryers. All coins, no cards and there is a change machine inside.
