While checking out, alady in front of me checking out, did not have a mask on. I asked her and as conversation went on, she basically said masks dont work and she doesnt wear them. She acknowledged she knew the cashier by name so is a frequent shopper in that dollar tree. After she left and I was being checked out, I asked the checker if it bothered her that she did not wear a mask. She said it did and shrugged. As if she couldnt do or say anything. There is a sign on the door about wearing masks or wont be served! I dont blame the cashier but the store mgr should be aware and handle. Surely your store isnt afraid of losing such a customer! Ihope someone will bring this up with mgr.

I assume Dollar Tree pays its hourly workforce only minimum wage; MAYBE slightly more. Because of the low wage rates, employee turnover is very high and that has an adverse effect on the quality of service and assistance (or lack thereof) customers receive. If you don't mind having to search for a checkout person (bc of understaffing) or dealing with unhappy employees' less than zealous attitudes, there are STILL some good deals to be found here. That's being said even AFTER "'DOLLAR' TREE" (would a name change not be wise at this point?); without ANY significant notifications/announcements informing customers of the impending changes; INCREASED all its FORMERLY ONE-dollar items to ONE DOLLAR TWENTY-FIVE CENTS. Remains a decent place to pickup cleaning supplies, various toiletries, etc. but will NEVER be a store to rave about, nor to miss if it goes out of business. *NOTE TO DOLLAR TREE EXECS: Your EMPLOYEES are your most valuable asset. Without them, YOU are out of a job. Unlike Amazon, because of the nature of YOUR business, Dollar Tree CANNOT EXIST without brick & mortar STORES, which MUST be manned by EMPLOYEES. The happiness (or opposite) of those employees DIRECTLY CORRELATES with YOUR revenue stream. Customers do NOT frequent businesses run by disgruntled/unhappy people. Improving benefits and increasing wages will INITIALLY cut into profits, but in the long-term it's the best (and most simple) change you can implement IF you'd like to see more $ in the long-term. Keep things as they are, and TURNOVER & negative word of mouth will be the death of "Dollar Twenty-Five+ Tree". (NO, I don't know ANYone who works at Dollar Tree in ANY capacity. YES, I DO have a business degree, but this review was written from the CUSTOMER'S POV.)

I was shopping for one thing I needed to pick up and head out. I noticed line one was long and a employee had opened up and she said at a lower tone that she was open, I wanted to reassure what she said that her line was open and she rudely says"I told you that line 3 was opened already!" I tried tobtell her that she was rude and I would not her pay her wages with that awefull customer service and immediately asked for her supervisor. I had a run in like this at the Monkey Junction store and I think it was the same associate. I am disappointed with who they hire these days. We should help more kids get a opportunity to get jobs instead of disapproving their chances.

Dollar tree at shipyard is always amazing from the staff and the items. Now a lot of items are $1.75 and then enjoy the $3 & $5, special items like per beds and electronics for kids are affordable to enjoy! They are always in season that's for sure.....

This is one of the cleanest Dollar stores I have been in. They rearrange the store a lot though, so you can't always trust the isle markers. The employees are always ready to help though, so no worries!

Large selection of items, that the average Dollar tree does not have. Found nice, name brand items for a low price! Great gift, party and craft ideas.

Looked straight out of a post apocalyptic movie. Like it was hit by a global pandemic, labor shortage, and staffed by people who didn't want to be there. Empty shelves in 1/3 of the store. Disassembled shelves and display cases. Floors with dirt, trash, product looked like they haven't been swept in weeks. It was wild. But shoot, it was 99¢.

Very clean store and also the employees were very helpful, there was a large variety of items to choose from as I went in there I found what I was looking for easily and also if there are other things that I could use. The store was cleaning very good environment, store was very well-stocked and easy to get to. Parking spaces outside where very convenient. I recommend the store to anyone that is wanting to shop for good deals and a good bargain.

One of the largest Dollar Trees I have ever saw. They had much more of a selection that you'd usually find and a larger range of brands including a few top tier name brands. Well worth a drop in to see what you can find at a great deal!

Had a 25 minute wait at 1 o'clock for 2 people. Lots of empty tables so they must be understaffed like so many others. Please be patient and try to plan for this in advance. Two bar seats opened up while we were waiting so we opted for those. Bartender was on point. Food was great as usual!

This store was much needed in our neighborhood. It opened with a bang full of items stocked. Now when you go in there, the store doesn't seem fully stocked as before. Yes the isles are clean, but doesn't have a great selection of products stocked to be a large sized store. What happened? A big disappointment. We need fully stocked and new items as before. Don't just wait until holidays. Boring store!

Don't I repeat DON'T sleep on this place, What I will say depending on location you will have a better variety of products if you're willing to drive a little in Wilmington NC The one I go to the staff is ALWAYS courteous and friendly willing to stop what they are doing and walk you to the product you're looking for (PRICELESS)

Mrs. K. and I both need new reading glasses and for a change, we were both wearing our contacts today so this was a perfect opportunity to stop in to the Dollar Tree. I think this used to be a Rite Aid. Straight to the well stocked "tree" of reading glasses, I had no problem finding two pairs in my new prescription and Mrs. K. found one that she liked. A brief wait at the register and the checkout gal appreciated that I was paying with small bills. Super easy and we were on our way.
