Its’s no longer “The Dollar Tree…” This review has nothing to do with the quality or service. It’s about the corporation’s latest questionable business decision. I’ve always appreciated knowing I could go to any Dollar Tree and dependably find specific items I need at better prices than anywhere else, but my last visit a couple of days ago, every single item I purchased was marked up 25% to $1.25, which is a hefty amount when you consider the large picture. At this point, we can find many of these items at the same (or better) prices at other retailers such as Safeway, Target, etc. where you can use coupons and specials to save even more. So, this venue isn’t the value it was and may suffer the economic price once their loyal customers realize what’s going on. “Dollar Tree” now feels like false advertising. They need to change the name to “The Buck and a Quarter Tree” so everyone knows it’s taking the same path as the “99 Cents Only (and up)” store and “Dollar General.” 🙄

It's a dollar tree, where everything's a dollar. Not too much to say other than the employees look like typical minimum wage employees and that the store really is quite a mess. Now a mess is something that I expect at a budget store like this, but this store was really quite messy, even for a Dollar Tree. I forgot to take photos but I'll post them when I go visit again.

The store looks very organized when I had gone in and there were no long lines. I was in and out in 14 minutes. It's very convenient to go into the Dollar Tree store in Salinas and get the things that is needed very seldom when I go there are long lines the store was very organize well kept up today February 18th 2023

I am not a fan of this Dollar Tree. It has better stock in its goods, but it is often messy, trashed and looks run down. It oftens seems like a hurricane stormed through the place. Service is awful too. Often there is only one cashier and the line backs up very quickly. If it wasn't for the wider selection of goods, so wouldn't set foot in here to begin with. They really need to shape up and get it together.

This store has been pretty bad for years. It is always extremely messy. Some aisles are so disheveled and torn apart that you cannot walk down the aisle. You have to go like tight when the store opens to see it clean and organized.

Always messy and literally never enough cashiers. The lines are ALWAYS long. Very inconvenient for someone that needs to rush in and out. I get it, save money on labor but damn !!!

This store is the worst. They have the same poor lady working the register all the time. When theres a line around the aisle she will call for back up and NO ONE ever helps. The employees are always filling up balloons and dont take a break from it so they can check out customers. Ive left the line after waiting for 25 min about 3 times . I dont know why a corporate manager wont step on. I know they probably make a lot of money but its not fair for the same lady to have to deal with all the angry customers. The store manager needs extra training .

Not bad for a dollar store in this area. It's clean, and usually stocked fairly well. It's pretty high-traffic; so not only is there fast turnover of merch, but usually a lil bit of a wait to check out.

One register open, LONG LINE. NIO CUSTOMER. Old lady on the floor stocking was very rude when I ask her a question. I guess because I’m black. Straight racism. Learn customer service and hire cashiers

I was just buying fruit pouches and other snacks (make sure your food isn't expired yall or this will happen to you too.) I noticed that the fruit pouches, which are for my 2 yr old, were expired as I paid. I cannot believe this cashier, who takes forever mind you, told me that my 2 yr old should be fine if she eats it. The manager told me to exchange for anything else since that whole lot they have on their shelf if expired. Bullshit

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Try to avoid this store at all costs. The worst one in town. The workers are very unprofessional, especially Tracy. If you do go try to avoid her line if possible. She will snatch items from your hand and give you attitude. Never coming back.

Ok selections, staff is always yelling things to each other and no not in a good way or store related. No one cleans the restroom it smells like a porta potty and no toilet paper. Clearly making it known they don't want you using their bathroom.

The two women at front seemed to not want to be there and were talking bad about a previous customer. And when it came to me there was obvious some sort of fraud going on. While ringing up my things she made the comment that she guessed she was gonna have more voids. Then when the total came up it stated 49... Dollars and some cents but when I said I would pay the coins with cash and the rest with a credit card the total became 44.17. While I was on the bus heading to my spot ad I am homeless, i hit anotufication from Capitol One stating my transaction wad placed on hold when i spoke to an agent they said ut was just pending
