I usually shop here daily.all staff is very friendly and helpful, but recently if I wait to do my shopping until the evening I'm met with a neon sign with a note that they are closed due to"fill in excuse".its getting kind of frustrating and ridiculous.maybe just adjust the hours .

Local Dollar General with friendly staff. I would like to give it 5 stars, but it is ALWAYS messy, with stock in carts to be unloaded, and as an older store needs a thorough update, flooring is mapped but you can tell it doesn't look clean.

I shop at this place probably three to four times a week very convenient and low prices same woman's always working I feel very bad she works way too much they can't keep enough help there but she always keeps her cool and is always nice and willing to help out

it's always a mess in there & it's not very organized but the employees always know where everything is, so that's a plus. it's the same as any other dollar general price wise. & the employees are usually pretty nice.

It was very nice always fine what am looking for...........The cashier was very pleasant..........It makes your day when your treated with kindness and that's what I got from the cashier she was a beautiful lady thanks so much to have kind people working at the Dollar Store

Had it in numerous occasions that they violate the Michigan bottom deposit law by refusing to take back empties that they sell. Had another instance where I was just returning three 2 liters I was told they're not rinsed out they have to be in a bag and that they only take returns between 10 and 6:00. So after arguing with the clerk about it for a couple minutes I decided it wasn't my worth my time and left the pop there that I was going to buy and went somewhere else so apparently they don't want my business. This is not the first time that it's happened either.

They always let me use their restroom. The lighting In it is bomb shell diggidy. Ones in a while you'll see a black person walking. However the one dallar cookie sale did go down. I eat a lot of sugar if you know what I meann. I'm fat but I like this athmosphere. Very Chicago like upon those beautiful 2800 square feet filled with not many 3T boy clothing's I'mma need some of that for this add OK. And Why is chocolate so expensive this day? Really no negative things to say expect they should play bootie shaking music because I'd like to learn how to twerk. Really this review is a joke. P.s. buy my new book 4.99 on Amazon.

Employees are ALWAYS very helpful. When I asked a question of where a product was, instead of just telling me, the employee brought me right to the section I needed and helped me. Manager is GREAT. Very friendly greets you as you are walking in.

Dollar General is a budget friendly type of store, like a mini department store all-in-1. You can find an array of items in this store that the average customer may have to go to multiple stores to purchase. Love Dollar General!

This place should not have been turned into a DG after family dollar. Its too small. Its almost always cluttered even on days they dont have truck. And most other DG's have bathrooms available. Not this one. I guess to prevent theft...but still!

They can't keep the store open! Its been closed for almost 4 days now! Its always a mess and the workers are rude, can't find anyone to check you out. They are always in the back and make you wait for at least 20 to 25 min before they decide to come up too the front. If this keeps happening it will be shut down.

I've been here twice now to pick up a few things that I didn't want to go to a big grocery store to get. Much easier running in and out of this store and takes alot less time. No trying to find a parking space and waiting in line. Cashiers were polite and got in and out quickly.

This Dollar General is Pathetic! When stopping in here to shop the store smelled like someone had been smoking pot in it. Then when calling today to see if they were open on Labor Day the girl that answered which I'm pretty sure was the one working there when it smelled like pot says,"Unfortunately we are" then added a big sigh. She needs a major attitude adjustment! This is sad if this is the best you can do with employees! Very disappointed!

Woman with purple hair is extremely rude. Called to see if they had a certain priduct and she said i would have to just come in to see what they have myself. I kept hearing her say "stay" or "get down" thought maybe she had some kids in there but when i arrived seen she had a full grown dog behind the counter. Again, extremely rude when i asked if they had anymore of the product i had found bc she told me id have to come in to see for myself. Poor service. The other young lady and gentlemen were fine it was just her and the messy store used as a dog day care.

I've decided to take my business elsewhere I am now going to the Family Dollar in Fennville it's close by but you can't make a phone call in there so I can't communicate with my husband and ask him if he needs anything and none of the coupons working there because it's such a dense store and they won't change it the password to the Wi-Fi so I decided to shop at Family Dollar instead

The place is trashed with carts of boxes in almost every aisle. Most of the aisles are disorganized. The staff doesn't seem to care about the store. I would recommend driving a bit further and going to the location on West 17th Street, it's much cleaner.

Terrible store. Have never seen so much trash all over. Could not get down the isles. End caps were totally blocked. Only way to get around was go back the way you came. BIG fire hazard. Sure the fire marshal would have a field day. Employee NOT helpful. Told me to find what I was looking for myself. Not a person I would want greeting my customer. Floors were dirtier then most peoples garage, even if they work in it. Dollar General, you have fallen to a new low. I hope I don't have to try and use you again. Thank goodness their are better stores around that would welcome your business and thank you for it

The girl working right now 8/19/25 at 3pm is trying to work the till and talk on speaker phone with the phone in her bra. Took forever just to by chips. She's super rude. But otherwise great store the other workers are nice
