The bad reviews are not warranted, yes it pre-authorizes $15, but the proper amount shows up when it posts. If you're low on funds, then use cash. I was able to completely rinse off my car with the high pressure hose in the about 3 mins and 45 secs you get for $5 (the minimum charge). It's the only touchless option in Boulder that doesn't cost a lot. Yeah, the gas stations can technically wash your car, but your paint will be toast after. Probably the best deal in town, and go easy on our locally owned and operated businesses, it's not easy out there for anyone.

Needed to update my review on this place after 5 years from 2 to 1 star, this place it the worst, 5 dollars to start now, plus they have removed most of the vacuums and trash cans, only the right half has them, not maintained at all, never has been, all of the guns are broken in one way or another, stick closer to the middle lanes, better water pressure. But really avoid this place at all costs, 10 minutes will cost you about 15 dollars, not worth it in my book, hate giving bad reviews but the 10 years I have lived down the street from here it only gets worse and more expensive. I only go here when I absolutely have to.

The cutest name ever?? but also pretty nice little spot. Very easy to clean my car here. Good selection. The credit card machine can be a little finicky. Also, there’s a $5 minimum charge on credit cards which is common - but this is just a heads up

Best coin (or free with wash) vacuum I've ever used! It appeared clean and had good suction ($1). The promptness of the hoses turning on was also unexpected. Downside is the price for a good wash and rinse ($5 to start), as well as the crowd on a good weather day. Some customers can be so inefficient and rude! Who wipes down their interior in the vacuum spot when their are clearly cars behind them waiting to access the vacuum and/or wash!? Saw it happen in multiple lanes while I waited for my turn. Maybe a Boulder thing...?

There is a minimum charge of $5 and they cut off your session after 15 minutes. So we have to start a new session and generally only need two more minutes of run time on the hose and are forced to spend $3 more dollars than we otherwise would. Not impressed! Won’t be back. Plenty of honest businesses we can go to in town.

Could hardly wash my van. They need to update their equipment. Next time I would go to another car wash.

I got charged $15 each time for the 3 car washes I bought in a row. It has been over a week since the bank paid out the full amount $45! Still no sign of reimbursement from the carwash. I call every morning, noon and night trying to get someone at the number listed to no avail. This is outrageous! I'm on SS and $30 is a large amt for me. I'm going to report this to the Better Business Bureau for all the good that will do.

Charged me $15 twice when it said it would only charge a max of $10. The second time I stopped it and it should have only charged around $6, but it charged me the full $15 again anyways. The foam doesn’t work well at all and the wash leaves my car spotty. Will definitely be going elsewhere.

Great service! Appreciated Ascher’s patience and pleasant disposition as I cleared out the interior in order for them to clean it. The cashier was helpful too. Great job getting the dog hair and smell out.

Leaving 5 star review. While I think the wash is expensive, you get what you pay for; there’s always soap and hot water when I need it. The quality of the cleaning products seems pretty well. I’ve gone here over other Boulder locations for cash washes because of this, and some of the washes even accept digital payments. Other locations lack quality cleaner. I wish that they has triple foam protectant/wax which would be cool.

$5 gets you 3:30 minutes. Place is very tired and poorly maintained in comparison to other self service locations. Wry expensive for self service. Guessing owners do not care about the place and just count the money.

It wasn't very busy. All the equipment worked and my car is much cleaner now. No drying available so bring your own microfiber!

THE $20 CHARGE IS ONLY A PRE-AUTHORIZATION. Like many here (and nearly all of the 1 star reviews) I saw a $20 charge on my credit card for only a few minutes of cleaning and freaked out. But later I realized what was happening. Every time you swipe your card they pre-authorize for $20. But once the transaction is finalized, you'll be charged the correct amount (or I was multiple times). The owners should really post this all over the car wash to avoid angering customers. My review: It's expensive and there can be a wait. But everything works, they have a good variety of cleaning options. I like the clean that I get. I'm not sure the "bug remover" and "pre-wash" are any different from the regular soap. But it got 98% of the bug residue off after a cross country trip, and our car was A MESS. I'll keep going.

Just washed by car at Coyote. No hot water. Not even warm. What was I paying for? I can wash my car at home with cold water. Won't be going again without a refund and assurances that I will actually get hot water. I also just saw a $20 charge on my credit card. Other reviews suggest this is a 'pre-authorization' charge, and it will get revised to the actual charge of $6-$7. This is also unacceptable. At least post a sign, so I know what I'm going to be charged. Either way, there is no need to do this. Now, I have to monitor our credit card to make sure I don't get ripped of. POOR BUSINESS PRACTICE.

As many others have suggested here, this business is a scam. If for some reason you must wash your car here - DO NOT use the credit card machines and pay with cash instead. I paid $8.25 at the card reader for a carwash, only to find out I was charged the max amount of $20 after later checking my credit card statement. Do your part to put this criminal enterprise out of business.

I have only used this place once, maybe 30 years ago (1990s). Its never changed, always packed. And always bad reviews. I dont drive/have a car. I'm a cyclist. But wither its a bike or car, I'd recommend anywhere else. I'd rather bike 7mi to wash my bike in north boulder, to a small place with only 4 bays, to get a good hot water self wash, with all functions working. At literally ¹/4 the cost of what the reviews of coyote say.

They now charge a minimum $5 and max $20. Unfortunately the time included for $20 isn't enough. I like to quick rinse then use foam brush and rinse. It's never enought time so I have to pay another $5 for one more minute. Its too expensive for washing my own car. I'll go elsewhere.

This place is a money vacuum. By the time you add quarters to get more time, at 10 seconds per quarter, too much of the time is spent adding money instead of washing the car. It's highly unlikely I'll return. I've never had to spend more than $5-$7 to wash my car, and I couldn't even complete rinsing it after running out of the $10 roll of quarters that I brought.
