10/22/2024 Using V4 polish on 2008 Tundra now too . Looks like new , water beads and rolls off . Finished roof with C4 also but still need to polish/seal with V4. 10/08/'24 Using C4 cutting compound on 2008 white Tundra . Huge difference , bigly. See pics. I've been using chemical Guys products for a while now and although you can find cheaper products "you get what you pay for" . When you spend hours detailing at home it makes a difference you can see and feel I have not been disappointed yet . See attached pics .

Do not trust the hours of operation. Employees definitely leave sooner. Picture taken 20 minutes before online posted closing hours

Originally located in Gardena, these guys have had top notch service, despite location change. Shoutout to Gerry for the helpful advice when an ignorant customer like myself walks into the store looking for a holiday gift. 10/10 service. Will definitely come back

The company sent me the wrong product. When I called customer service they said I had to submit a claim. They sent me a link by email and when I got there I had to jump through their hoops to get approved. Now I have to send back the wrong package, and they will not do anything until they receive it. Am I setting myself up for a repeat performance. Mind you I paid for something that I don't have and may never get, and the thing that bothers me is; IT WAS THEIR FAULT, AND I AM THE ONE WHO IS HANDLING WHAT CUSTOMER SERVICE SHOULD HAVE DONE WHEN I FIRST CALLED.

Worst customer service ever, Erin the manager doesn’t know to speak with the customers, he was very rude. I ordered my products and they never came. They won’t help me track it down, or contact the delivery company. I had to take my time to call and email people. They are only focused on taking customers money. I suggest ordering P&S which is cheaper or if the wallet can handle, kosh Chemie. Both are better brands! Never ordering from them again.

Extremely Disappointed — Buyer Beware I’ve spent over $1,000 on Chemical Guys products, and I regret nearly every penny. My first purchase was the 16-piece Arsenal kit, which boldly claims compatibility with pressure washers. What they don’t tell you is that it only works with their proprietary pressure washer — a frustrating and misleading omission. When I tried to return the kit at their Buena Park location, I was turned away at the door and told to contact corporate because they couldn’t verify my purchase — despite the fact that I had ordered through Amazon. The implication that I might not have paid for it was insulting. Against my better judgment, I went ahead and bought their pressure washer just to make the kit usable. Big mistake. After only a few uses, the hose connecting to the gun failed. I returned to Buena Park hoping to buy replacement parts, only to be turned away again and told to call corporate. The quality of the product was shockingly poor given the price. Still desperate to wash my car, I bought the Foam Blaster 6 Pro. When I finally reached corporate, the representative immediately knew what the issue was — clearly, they’re aware of the poor quality. I also learned that Buena Park is merely an authorized retailer and can’t help with returns, while Santa Ana is a franchise location that might be able to assist. Despite all this, I gave them one last chance after receiving endless promotional texts. That was the final straw. The customer service is abysmal, the product quality is inconsistent at best, and the return process is a nightmare.

Be careful buying anything from Chemical Guys. Their detailing line is par at best and if you purchase any of their equipment prepare to have your warranty denied. I purchased a sprayer at Walmart and it shipped without the seal and will not hold pressure. I reached out to CG and they told me sorry they won't help without a receipt. I then dug up and sent them the receipt and then they told me I was out of luck and to have fun dealing with Walmart. Horrible company with poor products and zero customer service. Spend your money with a real detailing brand unless you like to be disappointed.

My experience has not been positive at all. I am disappointed, as TCG's was recommended to me as a reputable company. I have updated everything as it happened and tried to be very fair in my review. I purchased a detailing product, "VRP". My trim was not in bad shape overall. It just had a relatively dull appearance. There was no mention on the VRP label of utilizing any other products prior to application. According to the label I had a correct product and I followed directions. Unfortunately, it left the exterior trim of my vehicle a streaky mess that cannot appear be cleaned. I contacted their customer service and sent images of the damage. We also spoke briefly on the phone. They told me to use an additional 2 products to clean up the streaks, then to use the same "VRP" product again. They did give me a $50 coupon for the suggested products. I received the products and used them as recommended by the instructions and the customer service guy. I attempted several times to remove the stains. My vehicle was only marginally better. I emailed them 2 times since then with additional pictures to document the same problem after following their instructions in sequence with all products. They are now totally ignoring me and no longer responding at all. The main solution I suggested to them was simply to have the car damage detailed by a local detail shop of their choice. If that did not fix the problem, I felt that a trim replacement would probably be appropriate considering the extent of the damage. I have heard nothing. I am regrettably consulting with my lawyer for a legal remedy. Check out the attached pictures. UPDATE: Unfortunately they have totally ignored the letter / deadline from the lawyer. All I asked for was a detailer to hopefully clean this mess up! The Chemical Guys are totally unwilling to support the damage that their product has done. They know that I won't spend more money on legal action and they are right. I am left with this damage. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DISREPUTABLE COMPANY!! SECOND UPDATE...I finally heard back from the lawyers letter (after the 30 day deadline). To be fair, I'll paste The Chemical guys response directly (see below). Bottom line is they are not willing to fix my issue as they are claiming that their product did not cause this damage. I will not be taking them up on their "gesture" for a $50 coupon. My truck is pretty messed up. Why would I do this after their product ruined my car? ...They are so lame and as I said above, "They know that I won't spend more money on legal action, and they are right." I am beyond disappointed that what appeared to be a reputable company would not take any responsibility at all for their product. See the response from TCG through my lawyer below... "Thank you for bringing your client's concern to our attention. After a thorough review, we have determined that the issue your client experienced is not a known problem with our product. As a gesture of goodwill, we are willing to provide your client with an additional $50 website credit. Additionally, we are prepared to offer a refund for the purchase price of the product. A check can be issued once your client provides a copy of the receipt, as the item was purchased through a third party. We understand this may not be the outcome you were hoping for, but based on the images and description provided, the issue does not appear to be related to the VRP product. Please note that the seller makes no warranty, expressed or implied, nor accepts any responsibility for any direct or consequential damages beyond the purchase price, as the seller has no control over the user's handling or effect of use."

I always appreciate going in there and meeting people like Gerry who take the time to explain how to do things right with the right products. The education component of buying detailing products can't be underestimated. Especially when something like properly detailing a car without really messing something up can be intimidating. They make it easy.

From the moment the store answered my call they helped in every way to assist me. Andy and his staff went above and beyond to help with a gift card I purchased in a different location for a family member back east who was not able to use. Within no time at all, my cousin was able to access the gifts he desired online with my gift card to him. Thank you Andy! You truly made my day better! And my Cousin! I look forward to doing more business with you soon!

Is there a negative star review? The product quality is poor, yet they charge premium prices. I purchased two aerosol cans of "Black on Black," and both leak everywhere the moment I press the spray tip. Waxes, paint sealers, and sprays don't last either. I used to be a big fan of their products in the past, but now I recommend doing thorough research. Read reviews, listen to professionals, and don't get caught up in the hype. You're investing in protecting your vehicle's paint and prolonging its quality. Just because Chemical Guys products might smell like a fruit basket or a Torta at a weekend swap meet doesn’t mean they're effective. Also, the new points system implemented in 2026 is frustrating. It forces customers to redeem points on unnecessary products that is not needed. What’s going on with that? Smh! Be smart people, know and understand what you're spending money on.

Great personalized service 👌🏻 Eddie, who seems like the manager/owner, was first, great over the phone, willing to work with me to build a package that would fit my budget and needs. Overall I've been trying to support more smaller businesses (believe this is a independent retail shop or something similar) So I was pleasantly surprised when I found out. Eddie spent a solid 20 mins with me walking me thru the products and how to use them. Better yet he made suggestions of poss. substitutions that would work better for my car. Also as a note, I was looking to start self cleaning/detailing my car but wasn't looking to spend hours to get a model floor look. (Just something that people will say oh clean car!) After chatting more, Eddie and I were able to bond over similar experiences, cool guy! I can't speak for the product itself besides the pink soap, I have it, works well. It's been consistently raining so no use to start now. As always do your research and educate yourself, but Eddie and his team is there to guide you to the right products. Speaking of, there was another (two) gentleman(s) who was helpful in answering my questions. The combo packs are great deals but also just stop in and try a product or two. Also, there's some nice brand unique car scents there. Shop is clean as expected and nicely lit. Looking forward to giving my car a good wash once the rain picks up.

10-1-2025- Absolutely amazing product !!! My wife and I both smoke in the truck, we have 2 dogs that love to swim and get dirty. Our truck smelled horrible. Like a wet cigarette. We tried the New Car Smell first, quick, easy, cost was $9.97 @ Walmert for the can. Our truck smelt Absolutely fabulous!! And... it lasted for a month, so today we tried it again, absolutely amazing. You can't even detect a cigarette smell. The local car wash wanted $95 to treat the interior. I detailed the interior myself, took hours but was worth it. Total reset for was a fantastic investment. Even if I have to do it every month it's worth it. You have to give it a try. Thanks chemical guys. And I just watched your 30 second video, I had no idea you had so many products. I'll be trying your exterior wash and wax kit first....Gregg Jenner San Antonio Texas..
