We were unlimited members with hand drying. Paying $59 every month, only to have the brushes in this car wash scratch our paint. When we first noticed, we thought MAYBE it was a one time deal since they were minor. This last time we went, it was significant and 100% happened during the car wash. Obviously, they won't take responsibility based on other reviews with damaged vehicles, so we found a much better car wash. However, now we have the cost of getting the car buffed out and painted were the scratches are deep.

Have washed all my vehicles here for several years and been a happy customer… at least 100+ washes. Including my ford raptor. Now refusing to wash truck because it’s a raptor… It’s been in weekly for the last 2 months. Nothing has changed except for the girl who refused to let me go through 🤦♂️

Spent $20 for a car wash and my car didn’t even come clean. You also have to pay extra to use the vacuums. Complete waste of money and time.

No vaccums and car wash didn't rinse all soap and back of SUV as still dirty. They were piling cars in so fast the attendant didn't have time to pre- spray the vehicle. They need to take their time and do a good job. I now drive over to the car wash off Stateline and 135th so I know I get my moneys worth.

I have had my car washed here since it opened. I have always been satisfied. Many times the back of car doesn't get entirely clean, I will point it out, then I go through again. They are very helpful and friendly.

I love this (& all) Charlie’s! Their customer service is phenomenal each time I am there. When it is busy/backed up, they have 1-2 employees completing tasks to make the wait less time. It’s great to see them being proactive about it! I do wish this location had the option to vacuum and clean inside ourselves like the other locations, but I still come here because of service and continuity. Thanks Charlie’s!

For the price great value. I did a full service interior and exterior and I'm very happy. They pay their employees enough so that there's no tripping allowed. They are quick but not rushed.

Beware! I took my van to this Charlie’s location for an exterior wash and interior clean and vacuum. While in the car wash, part of the silver trim on the front of my van cracked and flew off. We noticed the missing piece about 15 minutes later and immediately drove back to the car wash. My husband and I spoke the the manager, Jason, who admitted that their own camera footage shows our van driving into the car wash completely intact with no crack on the trim. Then camera footage shows that during the drying part of the wash, you see the silver piece crack and fly off. Jason was unwilling to take any ownership or liability even after he admitted that the damage was indeed done during the wash cycle. I will most definitely be taking my business elsewhere and will advise everyone else I know to do the same.

Their advertising is false and misleading! Said free car wash redeem at car wash, drive all the way there only to be told, no you have to purchase your car wash!!! VERY rude and I will never recommend!!!

UPDATE on 4/10/23: They gave me a call and provided a very sincere and kind apology. They offered to do whatever needed to be done to make it right. So they are going to give me a free of charge car wash and interior cleaning for whenever I decide to go next. I really appreciate them taking the time to reach out & try and correct things. I paid for the signature car wash and an interior cleaning. I was quite unimpressed with the interior cleaning results…Dog hair still all over the car seats, milkshake drops still on the inside of the cup holders (picture is after I’d scraped the drops off with my nail afterward), grit/dirt/hair/etc. still in all the crevices. Very disappointing.

Was a die hard WaterWay fan until my wife and I discovered Charlie’s! It’s faster, cheaper, and more convenient. They also are always ready and available no worries of wait times and the like for different packages. They have the perfect amount of snacks and drinks inside, as well as a good selection of car scents. Highly recommend them, only place we go now.

Was told they shampooed seats. Six attendants worked on my car. I put my hand on the seat where the stain is and it is completely dry...which makes me wonder, how do they even shampoo it? Loose dirt in between the seats. How do six attendants miss this?

This was my first visit to Charlie's and every staff person was incredibly helpful explaining their system. Before I got to the ride through wash, one of the staff asked if I wanted a plastic cover for my rear windshield wiper for extra protection and applied it. My car hasn't been washed for months and the exterior looks fantastic! My interior had all the signs of a muddy, wet winter, and the interior looks incredibly clean, including my plastic floor mat protectors, dashboard, and all the interior windows and door frames. I'm very pleased with the thorough wash and cleaning inside and out. It is worth every penny! I'll definitely be back!! Update Aug 2025: Still the best care wash inside and out that I've ever found. Friendly service, thorough cleaning, well worth the price.

Car wash is OK, but constantly closed during their advertised open hours. The track is either broken or they just went home early. I'm canceling my membership. I'll probably go back to Tommy's. It's a little less convenient, but not as inconvenient and making a special trip to find out they didn't bother to stay open. No note. No explanation. Just barriers.

Today I had a guy with a flashlight looking for marks on my window. Very thorough cleaning this time, much better than the usual. Never seen that done in any carwash TBH, Charlie's or others. Place was not too busy or different crew, IDK, but very nicely done! ✅ 👍🏻

I came in to get Car washed inside and out, the exterior wash was perfectly fine and met expectations, but the interior wash seemed like it hadn’t been done. As far as I could see, only the dashboard and inside of the windows had been wiped down and Seats were left untouched. I came back immediately after to tell them what they had missed and showed them what they missed. After getting back in my car, though, the same problem still remained, and even though I had seen him take out the necessary tools to do the job, it had not been done. After this experience in the employees attitude, being that one of a teenager who was asked to clean their room, I called back and asked to speak to a manager who refunded my wash and told me to come back so they could fix it. I came back about 20 minutes after I had originally been there and showed the employee exactly what they missed so they knew what to get to. While I was in the lobby waiting for my car to be done. I overheard an employee say “ohh that Volvo guy” in a snarky tone, insinuating they had been talking about me behind my back. The fact he looked at me, and proceeded to talk about me behind my back is EXTREMELY unprofessional, and I only wish I could hear what they had said. The manager assured me he would look into it but I am not very confident in that. There’s only so much a refund can do but after one of your employees (the one with the curly mop on his head) disrespects a customer like that and is stupid enough to do it in front of their face I can no longer see any reason to go here over WaterWay where I used to work and never saw a problem remotely close to this and can get the service I expect the first time and not have to spend an hour and a half coming back to still get underwhelmed.

Went to Charlies Overland Park location this afternoon. Paid $25 for the interior cleaning. The kids spent a total of 7 minutes on the inside and did a terrible job. They were completely uninterested in even attempting to do a decent job. I have an F150 so I folded the mirrors in to go through the wash and they didn't even bother to fold them out and wipe them down. I'd suggest never paying for the inside cleaning at the O.P. location. This visit was a complete rip-off. The other locations have been great. Attached are a few pictures of their "work."

Went in the carwash with no crack in my windshield, and left with a crack. They took a pic and let me know it wasn't their responsibility. Now I'm out $700 for a new windshield. Canceled my membership.
