I'd been a monthly member with Go for years (Belfonte also) and would also visit Tidal Wave after I dropped the membership. So one day the car needed a wash and I decided to try Charlies. Not quite what I expected, actually lame and average at best. Very few items to actually wash the car, I was surprised to see such few pieces of equipment in the long tunnel. The 'washing' back and forth device had me concerned it was grinding in grit and debris from the dirty car as it swished back and forth. The blow dry was hit and miss so I turned the corner to see about self service drying area...well there are vacuums but they don't offer towels. For the basic $10 (I think it was $10) you don't get hardly anything. For your members, try Tidal Wave, the $10 wash is very comprehensive, includes tire shine, awesome dry and a self serve area with supplies. Sorry Charlie, your place is average at best on a good day and really no value. Now if it was a $6 basic wash I could understand. If you want to see how you can improve, visit your competitors and see how they do it.

Came to get my car detailed for Mother’s Day for myself and it’s just awful. I paid top dollar for everything I possibly could. I’ve been to them several times in the past and it was OK but this just takes the words right on my mouth. It’s so bad. I’m so disappointed and I definitely will never be going back.

As a first time customer, I expected more for the interior cleaning. Seats were not vacuumed across the most obvious surfaces and the door jams and dash still had dirt/obvious marks that should’ve have been cleaned with a rag. Not going back.

First time coming here the wash was good! Express interior isn't worth the extra $25. I did politely go back inside to ask them to clean what they missed a young gentleman had no issue doing so. it's just the principle of getting it right the first time.

I've had mixed reviews of Charlie's. On occasion, I've had to go through the line multiple times to get my car clean. BUT but today was 💯 perfect. the first time. I'm sure part of the difference is the staff at the beginning who pre-treat the vehicle, they really soaked the windshield and rear windows of my Wrangler. PERFECTION!!! Thanks, Charlie's and staff!

Came through to get my jeep interior cleaned I was expecting way more for the price of 28 dollars. I know no one will ever clean it as good as myself but the floorboard still has dirt on it. The handles still have dust on them… really no attention to detail. This looked like the best place in the area as most are just drive through touchless places. I am a traveler but if I was local I’d never come back here..

This particular location does not have quality customer service at all, I don't know why they have attendants pre spray vehicles because they couldn't even get the small amount of mud off my passenger side tires, I guess the automatic service couldn't either. No wonder they offer the first 3 months for $10 a month, I wonder how many customers keep their membership after the 3 months, I know I won't even continue once this first month is up. I do know it's not all Charlie's because I once had a membership in Wichita KS and it was in fact great service. The Independence MO location should really try to do better!!

I wish cleaning the interior didn't cost so much when you're already paying 45 dollars a month for a car wash as a member. It's an additional $25 per clean. I understand charinging for it because it's a lot of work. We definitely tip when we attend. Our membership for one car is 45 per month and for our second vehicle is 36.00 per month. That would be the only thing so far I would say should be a discounted price for members for interior vacuuming. They are really friendly and do a nice job at the 40 highway Independence Location. It's our favorite one. We try and stay away from Lee's summit. They do not have the option for you to vacuum out the vehicle on your own like the 40 highway and Liberty location.

I am editing my review. I was invited in for a few and and I went today, everything was amazing. I was asked to look over my car and the even corrected the one thing I saw. Thank you so much for the amazing service recovery. No one was helpful at the pay window, the employee started clicking things, total was $48. I was like uh I just want a basic wash and express interior. Get to the wash part and they can't do it because I have a hitch on my SUV. They refund my $10 wash, then have me pull in the bay. My car has been sitting in the bay for greater than 10 min waiting on the $28 interior express clean. There are 5 employees with 3 cars in the bay, 4 employees working on one car. The end product wasn't even worth the wait, there was still crumbs and dirt in obvious places.

Really good car wash. I think I'll be taking my GMC Sierra 1500 there going forward. I've tried club car wash (wife has an account there on her car) went to mcbees and go car wash... Just wasn't satisfied with the level of clean that their automatic wash would give so I figured I'd try Charlie car was out today. Was very impressed with the wash (for an automatic service) the 5 day guarantee rain or not is a nice addition. Just have to keep that receipt. Added the hand dry service and it was a nice addition as well. Didn't have time to try the mat cleaner or vacuums but it's included in any purchase so I'll try again. 1 Star off for trying those things and will probably update review. Excellent service though loved it.

I happened to be in Missouri and needed a car wash. Visited Charlie's car wash at Independence, MO and I love that they offer free vacuums and detailing stations after washing. They also offer monthly memberships, which are a great value if you like keeping your car clean year-round. Whether you’re just passing through just like me or a local, Charlie’s is definitely worth a stop.

Car wash looks great, but I had mine and my sons cars detailed inside today. All that was done to it was a basic vacuum and wipe down. Pretty disappointing bc I had used them before and it was fantastic! Plus they took belongings out of my son’s car.
