I used to like coming here It is a small laundromat that is clean and the machines works most of the time but the past two experiences I have had will lead me to go elsewhere. I have a young infant whose breastmilk I needed to warm up (with hot water) the owner told me that I could not do that as her water bill was high enough as it is and that she could microwave it. ( you can’t microwave breastmilk) after some back and forth she finally lets me warm the milk. Ok I give it another go and I’m with my infant and 5 year old cousin and the place was hard to maneuver through with a cart and then were really rude about the five year old literally shutting the front loader washer doors (which were all over the place) the way they said he could not do that was rude and almost had him in tears because he didn’t understand the meanness when all he did was help them. My family used to own laundromats and this was never an issue. Idk. Maybe a more kid friendly place that does not count the seconds of hot water you use with air conditioning will be where I go next time.

I love this laundromat because although ita small. The owner goes out of the way to make sure your clothes are clean. They purchase over 50 lbs a week of salt for the water softner unit, which contributes to cleaner fresher clothes. Sometimes the workers open the place up earlier on the weekends because they know people wanna get in and out. Nothing better than going to your favorite place to wash clothes and your not waiting dor the laundry attendant to open the doors and cut the lights on. Its very clean and the bathroom is always fresh...

First time using a laundry Mat, but wow this place is very clean..and the staff is very nice. Since I just moved to Rockford from Fl and needed to get a huge load done in a short time... The machines are clean and large enough to accommodate 2 large kitchen bags of clothes with plenty of space to add more if needed. Don't be fooled by the outside of the building.. the inside is worth it.😁

Used to really like this place but the the last time I was there a dryer started smoking up and the attendant didn't seem to care. My son is there know and the same thing happened. I have asthma, I don't want to risk it a 3rd time.

For the most part staff is friendly there's 1 lady there that's rude. No complaints really good machines they keep it clean they could turn the heat up just a little more on the dryers other than that I recommend washing clothes here

Clean, decently priced, and I've never had any issues with the machines, staff, nor other customers. The manager gentleman always has a smile on his face. Really nice guy. It has become our go to spot for laundry services.

I'm not coming back to this one, I'll glady drive out of my way to find better. In the span of 7 days I have had two bad experiences: They don't stay open until the time they say they're open until, even if they know you're not done and had been washing your clothes since before the last wash cut off time. AND if their machines don't properly wring out your clothes, it's on you because you added too much soap.

The lady is a lier she took my stuff out of the washer for the 2 time I come back and my clothes are out of the washer sit next to it. No one is using the washer. No one is there to use the washer. I asked her why did she take my stuff out? She told me that somebody wanted to use it. There was nobody there lied to my face. I called to speak to the manager, and the manager had an attitude as if I did something to her I bring you business I will never ever wash there again, very unprofessional. ..

This is the most unprofessional place and will cheat you out of your money. We put a 20.00 bill in the change machine and got 10.00 worth of change, nobody could help get the money. It was said need to talk to a manager the next day so the letter was wrote and out of the 20.00 only 10.00 worth of change was dispensed. So left that with a picture of the letter as well here we are 2 weeks later now I can't get any assistance to get my 20.00 back. I will be going up there tomorrow to see what the deal is. I will not recommend them at all to anyone and if we were treated like that I would re-evaluate the reviews. This is not a 4 star laundromat it is just convenient for us who don't have the transportation. Guess what I have transportation now. Charles Street laundromat not is not the place to do your laundry. And if I don't see this review because they can block or hide it I am putting it in the BBB... Facebook,X, tik tock and anywhere else to make it known this is not a reputable place. If I could give a zero I would.

Cockroaches everywhere, soo gross!!!! The change machine doesn’t even give you the right amount!!! The dryers don’t even dry properly, so disappointing. The worse part is that cockroaches tried getting in my bags !!!

Terrible place to wash most of the machines are out of order doesn’t wash your clothes properly. Today is my first time being in this laundromat and I had issues when my washing machine was finished. I open the door and it was a bunch of water still in the washing machine so I talked to someone who worked there and they couldn’t do anything about it, but the lady at the desk was nice enough to give me my money back to start over and try another machine… then the two owners came to collect coins, and I said to the lady about the issue with the washing machine, and that some of my clothes are still wet and were so soapy, but she could care less…. The 2 photos before last are the owners collecting coins …I will never ever ever go to this laundromat again I don’t care if this is the only laundromat in the world

Very unprofessional took my things out of the washer because “ someone “ needed to use it but no one was using it. And just left it in the middle of the isle. After there machine stopped working and it was there own fault I left to go down the street to get some food after having to wait an extra 30 mins and they take my belongings out and just leave them in the middle of the isle. Na never coming back hope better management takes over
