Sad to say that I will never go here again. This used to be our spot, until last week when our car came out of the car wash with a massive windshield crack running all the way across the drivers side of the glass. We know it was not there before because we had literally just had a crack repaired days before and with that repair came a full windshield inspection with a clean bill of health. We mentioned it to the staff onsite and they said the owner would give us a call. Never did. We called to check up days later, never called us back.

I have been a customer for many years and had great experience. In July the owners changed and yesterday was a frustrating experience. It used to take 20 minutes now 45 minutes. They left many areas of the car with dirt and grime. It cost $5 more. I don't mind the increase in price if quality would be the same or better.

I was told to go to Cable Car Wash. I had just drove 800 plus miles, and the leading edge of my truck was full of bugs. For $20.00, I got out of my truck, they vacuumed the interior, then they moved it up, got all the bugs off before the truck went through the wash. After the truck had gone thru the wash, it was completely dried, moved once more, and they wiped everything from the door jams and inside windows. It was a wonderful carwash along with great employees!

This place is busy, but they got my car through in just under half an hour. The Manager Special is a great value, and the detailer did a great job on cleaning the windows inside and out. No streaks! But there's only two benches outside for waiting.

UPDATE: The place has been closed for ~2 months for "maintenance." Anyone know what's going on? A little ramshackle but they do a decent enough job cleaning the interior and exterior of your car. I will say to take their listed 'business hours' with a grain of salt since they will frequently close early for a variety of reasons - weather, maintenance, extended lunch, employee out sick, didn't feel like working today, etc.

Decent, efficient full service car wash. The person who checked me in removed the sap from my windshield right away when I pointed it out to him. It was busy, so took about 20 min to get my car back. No, they don’t “detail” things like the cup holder, but, sadly, I’ve never found a car wash that does. Seems like they’re the only full-service wash in Davis so I’m glad they get the job done.

Do NOT go here. I was astonished by how poor the customer service was and how lazy the employees were. I took my car in and told the cashier I wanted the best car wash they had that would give me the most thorough clean. He told me I would get my tires waxed and the interior and exterior thoroughly cleaned. When they told me my car was done there were still several dirty spots on my window. I kindly asked them to please clean those spots before i left. The employee straight up told me "no" and that it was "too much work." Excuse me? I"m paying you to do this. If you're not here to work then what are you here to do? They also didn't even attempt to clean the back of my car and I later noticed even more spots they missed on the exterior, and my tires were never waxed like I was promised. 0/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND

I don't understand why this place is getting worse and worse. Those pics were token right after the wash. It's not my first time facing this quality service. I decided to post this because I may not come back to wash my car.

At first, I was impressed with the speed they washed and did a thorough job, however, lately, it's gone way down hill. I will no longer get my car washed here. Not only do I have to wait at least an hour or more for an inside and outside car wash, but they offer an outside wash only, yet, I still have to wait in line until all the cars in front of me are vacuumed in order to get a simple outside wash. And not to mention, they left the inside wed and did not clean thoroughly. The service is not great either, very disappointed!

I was pretty disappointed when I went to this car wash at noon on Saturday and was turned away so they could close 1 hour and 15 minutes early. Least they could have done is recommend a competitor that understands how business hours work instead of leaving me out in the wind needing a clean car by 2:00. - Update: Returned and was happy with the service, speed, and overall quality for the price.

This is what it’s like after a $19 super wash. They didn’t vacuum the trunk, a lot of dirt in there. Super wash includes wheel bright, but they didn’t even use water to rinse them. Many spots that I could easily remove using my own towel. This is not better than a $5 gas station wash.

So much better than a gas station drive through wash. A few guys are actually washing and scrubbing your car as you get taken through by the machine. Best part, two guys are drying your car once you're past the automatic dryer instead of you having to get out and dry later to avoid spots. I'm not from the area but would definitely come here often. Updated prices attached. $10 for an exterior wash.

I usually get the basic inside and outside cleaning. It’s whatever, average, no expectations service. You get what you pay, no complaints. I don’t know what made me want to get their most expensive service today. I feel so dumb. I got duped. After I tipped the guy $5 and entered my car, I see these fine “detailed” works [pic]. I wasn’t expecting much at least touch the smudges and spills. At least clean the obvious areas. Sheesh. My mistake.

Usually I get great service at cable car wash. Today was a disappointment. I don’t typically leave reviews, but I sure wish I looked at the interior of my car prior to tip in $10!
