Read the reviews and believe them!! I didn't because of my experiences years ago with the original owner. I didn't realize Buff Masters was under new ownership. Now I'm understanding the low scoring reviews. On Friday, June 9, 2023 I called to setup an appointment to wash/wax and buff light scratches out of my hood. I was told they open at 9:00, but I could come earlier, so I got there at 8:10. The manager looked at the vehicle and said, he could buff the scratches out the hood for $50 for a total of $144.40 to wax the rest of the SUV. They didn't start waxing my SUV until after 10:00. I had assumed they would wax my SUV inside the building, but they waxed it in the Direct Sunlight in near 80 degrees temperature. As the detailer was finishing up, he waves me over to take a look. The first thing I ask him was did he wax the top of the SUV. He said yes without hesitation. Shaking my head, because I knew it was a lie. I stood nearby and watch the whole process. I walk over climbed on the running board and noticed they didn't even dry the roof and definitely didn't wax it. It had water spots and runny dirt. He said, oh we sprayed the water up there before waxing it. As we walked around to inspect the rest of the vehicle, it was dirt everywhere as shown in the pictures. They didn't clean or dry the rims, the wheel wells or the door jams. The guy waxing the vehicle was attempting to get it cleaned up, but the manager came over and told him he needed him up front. When I got home, I pulled my SUV in the garage and noticed the scratches were still there. I called the shop, spoke to Samantha and asked if they could pull my SUV inside so that they could see the scratches. She said, bring it back and we'll take a look. I took it back asked for a manager and spoke to Stewart, he was real nasty and very defensive from the beginning. He told me it looks good to him and that if I wanted the scratches out, I should get a new paint job. I told him, if he didn't want to fix the scratches, he should refund my money back. He refunded me the $50. I highly recommend you read the detailed reviews on Buff Masters, they're dishonest and don't take pride in doing a good job. Stewart the manager gets very upset when you hold them accountable. I have used buff master for about 5 years and much to my displeasure for the last year and probably 3 last jobs, I have been extremely disappointed. This will be the last time I use them. I’ve done everything they offer from their ceramic to hand waxing to simply basic car washing. My last job 11/7/2023. Hand wax, Clean Windows and floor mats. $86.00. They spent 20 minutes. I drove the car 5 minutes to my house and took these pictures. For those who want better job and better attention to detail use PT Cruisers by Best Buy. They do everything that buff master does. The amount that Buffmaster charges, go elsewhere for quality for the buck. They used to be pretty good. I have been very disappointed!

I was not pleased! I ask a lot of questions about the waxing; she didn’t seen to know a lot… tried her best to explain it to me. It’s a Wed; they told me if I come in on that day u could get a free wash with a wax job. Ok, I stood outside for a minute and asked what type of wax they used. I wanted to know the difference between three months wax versus the six months was any difference. Did they use a stronger one for the six months. Anyway when they were done wiping it down they ask the guys are y’all gonna wax? They shook their head no, they were pretty busy doing some other things. Ten minutes later they were done am like they couldn’t have finished that quickly. I honestly don’t believe they waxed it! Am not asking for the $85 I paid for it back. And also my tire rim didn’t look that great! My floor mat on the driver side was soak with water, and the step up was totally dirty the cashier had to spray it off. O! I ask for air freshener they didn’t spray it. Another O! I believe I should have stayed out and watched them the whole time I saw many watching what they were doing. The next place I go to I will do just that! I stay a little far from car detailing so I want to find someone I can depend on.

I’m really blown away by the quality of work being done at Buffmasters. To say that my car looks better than the day I bought it is not an exaggeration. Beat in mind it was a used car that Carvana butchered when they repainted the front (unbeknownst to me at the time of purchase). I didn’t know they it could look this good. Thank you to much, I’m so happy with the work.

Nice crew, just an okay wash...rims weren't cleaned, brake dust & road grime still on them after the dry down, I cleaned them when I got home. I paid $16 (w/tax), price was okay, but expected a great "hand wash" for the $. Very disappointed they don't offer a military discount for the standard wash, lady at counter said she can only ring up discount for the upcharged "packaged" washes. Joked w/ her about getting 4 paper receipts for the process, said she spends lots of $ on thermal paper- here's an idea (owner/manager), reduce receipts to 1 and pass on the savings to your customers. Process was very discumbobulated...probably should get someone to Lean/6 Sigma your process. I probably won't go back.

Took my new truck 3 times before leaving a review, I tried to avoid it. I hate leaving bad reviews because we all have bad days. After 3 visits, I'll let the pictures speak. This was the "Master Piece" service plus a generous tip. Was basically rushed out the nicest way possible when asked to look over the work at the end. The staff seem really stressed out and over it. Hopefully it gets better! FYI the windshield does not have hard water stains, it was never touched. Was able to clean it in one run myself, along with everything else I had to finish. Not worth the $$, do it yourself.

Original 5-star review in February 2023: Buff Masters did a ceramic coating and window tinting on my truck a couple of months ago. The friendly and professional staff made the process very easy and did an excellent job. Highly recommended! Edit in November 2023: The service and friendliness of the staff seem to have degraded over the past few months, and I have discontinued my unlimited wash package. My last three visits, the vehicle has not been cleaned thoroughly (missed large areas of missed dirt, pollen, or bugs). They’ve always been willing to take the vehicle through the wash a second time or touch up the issues, but it’s become too much of a hassle.

They did a bad wash on my truck. They ran it through the car wash twice, and it still wasn’t clean. Everything remained the same, and they didn’t even make an effort to wipe it down with a cloth, which was a simple fix. I asked them twice to clean it, and they didn’t. My rating for this is 1 because I hated the wash, I wish there was a 0 star.

⭐️ 1 Star – Horrible Service & Damage to My Vehicle Not sure why I didn’t check the reviews before buying a membership here… I had an extremely disappointing experience at Buff Masters Car Wash. After taking my brand new truck through their wash, the chemicals they use discolored the vehicle, causing visible damage that was not there before. I brought this to the attention of Daniel Hawkins, and his response was essentially that there was nothing they could do about it. No accountability, no effort to investigate, and no concern for the damage done. He repeatedly referred to the camera footage as if that was a defense mechanism he was used to. For a business that services vehicles daily, this level of customer service and lack of responsibility is unacceptable, especially when it involves damage caused by their own products. I would not recommend Buff Masters Car Wash to anyone who values their vehicle or expects a business to stand behind their service.

2. Buff Masters earned two more stars as management reached out to make it good for me. The manager came out to my SUV and apologized, then told his crew to pull out the red carpet. They (4) hand wash my SUV from top to bottom. Then another (4) Dried and detailed the inside cleaned the dash, windows and vacuumed the complete inside. To top it off he had one person give it the finishing touches. Buff Masters would have clearly earned 5+ Stars if they would have done this at my first visit. I know that they are the busiest place in town, But I would recommend that when a customer opts to get their Masterpiece option they have a dedicated person to oversee this type of wash and service. This will help them be the top notch in their industry without any doubt! My next job will be their Ceramic Pro Coating for my 2021 Ram Rebel as they earned my business! Great Job Team! 1. My first time as I was considering their professional services on my new truck, so I decided to have a bit older SUV done, ordered their Master Piece option which was their high end hand wash service and was highly disappointed. Windows were not cleaned properly. I had to point out that there  was dirt still on the hood, they did clean it and stated their guys didn't apply any elbow grease, in other words did not deliver what was promised.  When I got home I noticed lots of areas that were not properly cleaned. So SAD, if this is their best! I should have known when it took less than 10 min wait time to complete the entire truck once out of the so-called hand wash. SUV was dirty, the windows were not clean properly, there was no shine on the tires, no fragrance was offered and the interior was not dressed properly as well. While I cannot attest to Buff Masters actual services, as I live out of state, I can attest to their customer service, which is AMAZING!!! I wanted to get a gift card for detailing for my Dad for Christmas, so I called and spoke with Samantha. She thoroughly explained the different options. Once I made my decision, she offered to not only mail the gift card to him, but also add a handwritten personal note on my behalf, rather than just throw it in envelope and be done with it. She also sent me a picture of how everything looked before she sent it. Thank you for the impeccable, delightful and worry-free customer service!

Paid over $50 to get my truck washed and was very disappointed. Windshield hap hazardly cleaned. Didn't pull the floor mats and vacuum the carpets. Wheel shine applied so heavily that it slung onto the side of my truck one the way home. This place has gone so far down hill. I won't be going back. I didn't have time to sit there and point out everything, though I did mention the vacuuming but was told it wasn't covered under the package I paid for. Guess I need to pay the $75 package to get my floors vacuumed. There's more I could say I was disappointed about but I'd run out of room here.

I went to this place despite the mixed reviews because I had a gift card. Unfortunately, the bad reviews reflected my experience with this place. The staff were all nice, but the work is subpar. My car still has patches of filth all over it and I’ve tried to capture that in the photos that I’ve attached. The filth isn’t even just relegated to the nooks and crannies of my car but all over including on the doors and hood.  I got the full service wash, the ‘Master Piece’, and a wax, so they basically just waxed over the dirt which is a concern. The wash also included the ‘wheel bling’ but my wheels are covered in streaks of dirt, and my car has sun spots from the wash. I can’t quite capture how many spots of dirt and pollen were left behind on the doors with my camera, but it looks pretty bad to the naked eye. I think the problem with this place is that they are just going way too fast with these cars. The workers don’t have time to make sure that your car looks good, and they do ask before you leave if you see any problems, but with that kind of rushed atmosphere who is going to admit that their whole car has problem areas? They might do good work with their detailing services, but getting a wash from here is definitely not worth your money. Ltdr: if your car isn't brand new and already pretty clean, this place won't be of much help. Might as well go somewhere cheaper and save yourself the hassle and the money

They did a great job did t try to over sale anything it was quick and good surprisingly good for how busy they were. It was hot and everyone was doing their job. FANTASTIC job! They even have packages to sell and I did not buy any but also no pressure to sell it. You know is a good place where they don’t need to press you for the membership. You know why? Because the was you just got you know you won’t get it anywhere else! I like their strategy

10/10 couldn’t recommend Buff Masters more if you need your car detailed! They were able to remove months of dog hair buildup from the car which always felt like an impossible task when cleaning my car myself. They made my car feel brand new in less than a day!! Won’t take my car anywhere else in Wilmington when it comes to getting detailed!

Not at all pleased with them today. Paid for the $44.95 service. Next time I’ll just go to the car wash and do it myself. I had to drive 45 minutes away just to go to them. Not happy with the cleaning process that was SUPPOSED to be done. No air freshener added either. The Picture that almost looks like a parking lot is the roof of my small car.
