These folks set the standard for customer service! They've continuously provide great service but the other day went way over to help. Had an unusual 12 point bolt I needed to remove. They didn't have the tool I needed as a shop tool. They could of sold me the tool from their inventory, they took it out of inventory and removed the part for me. It is an unusual part and they didn't carry it. They went a step farther and suggested a few competitors to check with. Finally, they offered to put the part back on once I got a new one, they offered to put it back on for me. Thank you guys for making my life easier that afternoon!

Love these guys! Don't buy auto mechanical stuff, but wipe blades, antifreeze, and windshield cleaner. Also purchase auto cleaning supplies, the staff is great about knowing best waxes, cleaners, and interior cleaning supplies. They are a godsend on installing wipers, and if not too complicated, installing a burned out bulb. By law they cannot put antifreeze in, but I did have a staff member walk me through the steps as I did it myself. Good thing for this 64 year old granny to know! Always pleasant, you are recognized even when they are busy, often a lost customer service action theses days. Great help in checking basic causes when service engine light comes on, although they cant always pin point the exact nature of problem. At least I have an idea when I call my mechanic. Great bunch of folks at this location. (Yes, folks, as there are women employed here).

So I was with my daughter and my girlfriend's daughter going from Otsego to Muskegon today. When we made it to Holland I heard a bad grinding noise coming from my front passenger wheel. I pulled off at the BP gas station to check it out and found that one of the caliper brackets bolts was gone. I got on the phone with AutoZone over on 32nd St. in Holland and told them what was going on. I told them I didn't have any tools in my truck. I asked if there was anyway they could bring me the bolt and possibly a socket wrench that would fit. They didn't even hesitate. Within no time they showed up. Even helped me. Got it buttoned up (replaced both caliper bracket bolts) and folled them back to AutoZone and paid for the part. Huge.......HUGE shout-out to Matt and Dewey at AutoZone. They saved my a$$.

Would give zero! Tested battery only to drain it. Then their jumper was dead. Not a single one there would install a new battery but had plenty of time for chatting with others and complaining about their work day. Normally I have patience for understaffing but this was a bit too much. Not a single guy there wanted to help us. Very disappointed and won’t go back or recommend. We all have jobs and we all have issues, I don’t need to be made to feel bad bc I was a customer and it was a bad day for them.

Ordered a brake light online and paid for it ahead of time. Went to grab it an hour later, late on Saturday after nine. There were two clerks, a male and female. They were both helping customers and they were super slow. The female clerk who was more experienced was in the parking lot for ten minutes helping a customer, so i waited in line for the male clerk who appeared to be new. He didnt have a clue what he was doing or how to find anything. He sent the customers out on the store floor to look for a part he had no idea the location. This entire time he has yet to even acknowledge me to say hello or thanks for your patience or it will be a minute. Not great customer service. Then when the female clerk finally returned, he asked her for help with the same customer. Tbh probably wouldnt have even been too big of an issue if the male clerk had any customer service skills. I understand when you are new and absolutely can be patient, but communication goes a long way. Also the other reviews on here almost seem fake. Most reviewers that posted here only have posted a few reviews and just about every review posted that i quick scrolled through mentioned the name of a clerk such as, “danny was amazing today”. Just looks like some person just made up a bunch of fake reviews. Reminds me of christian brothers automotive with all of their sketchy reviews

Angel was a life saver today. I was driving in a white out and my windshield wipers sucked. So I swung in and he was so polite and helpful from the get go. He picked out my wipers for me and even put them on (I felt bad because I parked in a snow drift without realizing it 😩) but he never complained once and was super friendly! What great customer service!

The employees have helped me carry items both in and out of the store to my car. I'm very thankful for the help as I need a knee replaced. They have been helpful and kind selling and returning items. I would not hesitate to return to purchase more parts for my car.

What a kind and helping staff! Angel took the time out of his day to help me with a battery, and due to my lack of knowledge, used the time to help me out and make a rough start to a day quite a bit better. There was no judgements, just a willingness to help out a customer in distress. I will certainly be returning upon having questions or needing something else addressed. Danny and the team here turned my bad car day into an opportunity for awesome service. From the moment I walked in I was greeted and helped, but I was struggling to find a windshield wiper that would work with my car. One after the other something just wasn’t working—but when I went back in to ask for help, Danny worked with me to find a solution and even generously provided a trade for a more valuable product to make it work, when the 3rd try finally worked! So grateful and I’ll definitely be back.

I would like to give a shout out to Steven Raebel, the manager of this location. I have shopped this location for a long time and the level customer service has not always been the best experience in the past. Steve has really done a great job of hiring amazing, friendly, knowledgeable staff and I have really noticed a change for the better! I'm never treated as a woman who probably doesn't know much about cars and everyone is very helpful. The atmosphere in this location is great, everyone seems to really enjoy working there so good job Steve, way to put together a great group of AutoZone staff that get the job done with a smile on their face and have really made the shopping experience in this location better!

It's pretty much hit and miss if you are going to get an employee that knows what they should know working in an auto parts store. If they can't look it up on their computer they don't know. We've gone here to get parts sometimes and they don't have them, yet when we go to Napa or Advance Auto Parts, they have no problem getting the part from their stock on hand. And forget it if you have a modified custom car, then they really are lost. Not my first choice for parts.
