Your cashier Michael was unpleasant and seemed like he was in a bad mood. The lines were long with two cashiers open. Also, there was a young lady on the floor I did t catch her name she was rude when I asked for help she said she couldn’t because “we’re busy.” You guys need to monitor your workers attitudes

Drive up pickup is the best. Not sure if the employees get recognition for their work, but they should. Super FAST, and pleasant! quality of produce is always great too. The substitutions usually work. I haven't used the chat option yet, the window to chat is usually very very small but hopefully that can improve with time.

I love their produce. It may cost more but the quality of the food is well worth the little extra. Picked up some fried chicken last minute for dinner. Well worth it!

UPDATE 9/15/2025 Getting really tired of the buy 4 page for a sale price, separate items also advertised as buy 4 to get the sale price, only to find you have to buy 4 of the one particular item to get the sale price. I dont want 24 bux invested in ice cream. How do you guys get away with this? Loss of trust across the board. Stater Brothers is just down the road, and they don't deceive. 7/10/25 yet another boring ad. High prices and nothing to bring customers in unless an app...we HATE apps!! Shame! 2/2026 Cheese bread, might sell more if a teenie tiny bit more cheese were added. Dry bread with a bit of cheese?...hard to compare with your extremely dry/stale bagels. Share that with your "team"

I love the deals they have however the last two drive up orders have had chicken with the same day expiration date and poor substitutions or shoppers that don’t respond to the chat messages.

If you're looking to buy a big order of fried chicken for a party, this is the place. We live close to other markets that sell fried chicken but we'll go out of our way to go the the Albertson's on 20th Street West and Ave. J in Lancaster. Tip: if you want more than 24 pieces, call the day before to place your order. A few times we placed orders for 50+ pieces.

I love Albertson's and most of the employee's are super nice. There is always a good buy at this store. I would give it a 5 star if it wasn't for the homeless making their rounds and asking for money when you come in and when you come out. I told an employee about it but his response was that some people like to give money. I just don't feel safe. The guy already asked me once now he followed me to ask me twice.

I was lucky enough that this location in Lancaster has a DMV kiosk. I had taken a pic of my DMV REGISTRATION, where I was able to scan it without having the actual paperwork but most of all, I was able to use my ApplePay.

Stood there waiting for someone to open the cabinet so I could get some shampoo. Was able to order it off Amazon before anyone came by. Left without seeing anyone near that section. 8:40pm, hardly any customers in the store, and no one able to turn a key.

I love this Albertsons I only have one problem I came today and when I called their phone number to see about their hours it said they close at 11 but when I got here at 10:15 they were already closed so that needs to be updated but I did see the hours are updated on here

The store is always clean, however the lay out can be confusing. They always have nice sales and the guy at the meat department is super chill. I go here because they always have my favorite beer, Coors Banquets in the stubby bottles.

In store everything is nice everything is clean all of the staff is kind professional and helpful however when it comes to using your app for online purchases 10 out of 10 DO NOT !!!!!! recommend at 12:13 p.m., I placed an order via the app for this location (Lancaster, 20th St West). I did not receive a notification about a delay until 5:45 p.m. Concerned about the time, I contacted the live chat support at 5:46 p.m. twice. The agents confirmed they submitted an update request and even escalated the ticket, explicitly noting that this order needed to be fulfilled today. Despite that internal escalation, no one from the store reached out to me. I had to take the initiative to call the store myself at 6:40 p.m., only to be told that you close at 7:00 p.m. and would not be fulfilling the order because you were "too busy" and short-staffed. I completely understand holiday hours and being short-staffed; however, that is not an excuse for a complete lack of communication. You are not too busy to make a brief phone call. If you knew earlier in the afternoon that you were at capacity, you should have contacted me then. You should have given me the courtesy of knowing the order wouldn't be completed so I could choose a refund or arrange for expedited delivery the following day. Instead, you ignored the app escalations and waited until you were literally closing your doors to admit you couldn't do the job. That is incredibly unprofessional. Refunding my money does not compensate for the time I wasted waiting for this order. It does not account for the fact that I had to spend additional funds to buy dinner for my family at the last minute because you were too inconsiderate to provide a timely update. To be told "you'll get a call in the morning" is the bare minimum. I have been a customer for over 10 years, and this isn't the first time this has happened. It is not just that the items didn't arrive; it is the blatant disregard for the customer's time. You had ample opportunity to communicate, and you chose not to. Update: Next day my orders finally get started the items that were necessity to dinner yesterday we're no longer available I had to request substitutions instead of substitutions being offered like most stores do in the app like Stater Brothers Walmart even using instacart. I get up early so I looked over to see when I would be receiving an order that I should have received yesterday. I was not going to be offered alternative options they were just going to say the items are out of stock and leave it at that. I understand that yesterday was a holiday and I empathize and understand also that my order was 105 items. The part that pisses me off the most isn't that the order wasn't fulfilled yesterday but the order was in fulfilled yesterday and it was in communicated in a timely manner. Communication is key it is not unreasonable to tell a customer hey we can't complete your order we're swamped it's holiday hours unfortunately even though you ordered at 12:30 and your order is due at 6:00 p.m. the latest we won't be able to fulfill it because of the lack of staff due to the holiday hours. If I received a phone call a text message or even an email stating that I would not have any complaints I would be disappointed of course but I would be able to take action because it was communicated within reasonable time frame for me to make necessary adjustments and changes. The fact that the store with it 10 to 20 minutes before closing didn't call me I called them I've been reaching out to them not once did I receive a call prior to the store closing they knew they had orders they could have taken the time out of their day knowing they couldn't fulfill the order and communicate that but they did not. These items were full in stock yesterday now they're not which is understandable but also an issue because how they've done the shopping at the time frame allotted I would have been getting the exact items. I'm livid as a customer who has been going to this Albertsons for about 15 years plus!!!

Albertsons in Lancaster is honestly a great little grocery spot. The store’s easy to get around, the produce always looks fresh, and the staff are super friendly — they actually seem happy to help, which is nice. I usually find everything I need without any hassle, and shopping there just feels… easy. It’s the kind of place I don’t mind making a quick trip to anytime.
